  1. I've had this happen before. Sitting at 100% I've deleted a whole bunch of text, but if I even think of entering any I'm just right back to over the amount. It feels like the file keeps on shrinking for some reason.
  2. Wish I could remember the name, but I recently played an Arc where the contact was this huge flaming demon...thing....

All the mobs were luets which made me believe it was a farm, but all the mobs were bald headed kilt wearing dudes with tattoos and barbed wire around their chest.

The contact said there were ninjas with sword cutting through the city... the mobs actually had claws, could heal each other and there were about a dozen more jumping me as soon as I attacked a group.
  3. It was a pretty decent review. I had to chuckle at " This mission is hard as balls yo." I think you gave us all the information we needed (( or didn't?)) need to know.

Er... just one Q, what was the rating?
  4. Well I don't know, but I guess you could try "Of Liberty and State" since the story is about Ms.Liberty and even touches on it's meaning. Also with Statesman being a key figure in it, I guess you could say it's a bit patriotic.

    Interface issues

I've encountered this. I've also encountered the wrong tooltip being displayed when I hover over options in Architect.
  6. Please stop writing these or I might actually die from laughing. On the other hand, please keep going. They say laughter is the best medicine.
  7. Oh good gawd. Look, all you whiners out there, just please be quiet. Look if those Arcs weren't just plain terrible then they wouldn't be subjected to such harsh critique. As it is, I find the reviews to be just, plus it is still just one person's opinion. You've stated your dislike over the thread, but you endorse it every time you post by bumping it up to the top. You've stated your opinion... now move along.

    To the Devs:

Just want to say thanks. You guys always seem to listen when we as players give advice on how to make things better. Giving as suggested features like invincibility in test mode for instance, little things like that make me appreciate having developers who work with the players. It's one of the reasons why I have grown to despise that other mainstream company.

Anyway just wanted to say that.
  9. If it was a panic Maintenence, all the servers would have come down. Just the west coast servers did.

    We're down!

Someone got a little too lit up last night at the Office Post Issue Release Party last night. Might explain why they were wearing the same shirt today too.
  11. I've updated the Arcs following the release of today's patch. Finally they can run the way as intended!

First off, in Part1 in Mission3, The Collectable objects will now become objectives after you link up with Positron.

Part2: Mission 3 The Collection objects will now work in the order they were intended.

Changed The Map in Mission 4 because I received complaints about Scirocco going missing. Since I experienced this myself, the map is now changed so hopefully it will work properly.
Also collection clue should now be further back!
With the added storage space I added two more AVs in the last mission. Now Wretch and Ice Mistral appear on the map as well!

Part3: Added some more Heroes to Mission 2.
The Last Mission now has one more AV and some Patrols to beef it up.

Have fun and enjoy and give me some feedback if something doesn't work quite right!
  12. I ran this Arc but didn't finish because DeVore thoroughly destroyed everyone, ((me included)). Also... Turbo Starr is a bit aggro friendly. He can turn a whole room against you before you are even ready. Lucky that doesn't last long because he's usually KOed by the time half the mission is over.

Maybe you should switch him to Defensive?
  13. For the record, I did rate "Footsteps" 4 Stars.

And getting that inertia started takes a lot of luck. You can spend weeks polishing you arc and promote the [censored] out of it, plugging it multiple times a day on the MA channels, in broadcast in the busiest zones of the busiest servers, and even get a poster made and featured in the City Scoop, yet still some arc you'd never heard of that looks like it was made in a few hours suddenly zooms up to hundreds of votes while yours continues to sit at a few dozen.

And once it has that inertia it tends to keep going, and going, and going. And it is damn frustrating and makes one wonder why they even bothered to put in all that work.

I think you've touched on something I've been trying to say.

Look, as I said I'm not out to demean the authors who put hard work into those Arcs. I'm glad for them and maybe I came across a bit harsh. For me I want to see good story driven Arcs get the spotlight they deserve, but lots of times see The spotlight on Arcs that are poorly written, make no sense or are just farms.

To put things bluntly I was unsettled, probably because of the ARc's more mature content or the mixed messages I think, we as players, are receiving. It's not acceptable to have certain content, but we have content that makes it to the HoF. So it is acceptable then? Do you see what I'm getting at?

Also, on my part, I misunderstood HoF to be a higher ranking then DC. Though again that is still a bit confusing. I seem to recall the developers saying they would make high ranking Arcs a permanent part of the game.
  15. That's great, but the bio of one of the heroes outright said she was bisexual. Plus the Weed guy was a walking marijuana plant.

Not that those subjects aren't funny and everything. I can understand it being popular but to warrant a Hall of Fame label?
  16. I think I know why. I mean it was done well and the creator made sure there were little mistakes. But mistakes there were.

Also the game is Teen rated but the Arc doesn't really follow "City of Heroes" Lore persee. It alludes to some adult subjects (( the one character is outright bisexual and another is a plant who is probably illegal just by himself.)) Also it breaks the fourth wall. ((Dark Shadow. ))

The arc is fun but I don't think it would really "fit in" as a regular arc if it were in the CoH universe so I don't really think it should be Hall of Fame.
  17. I take it back, I do remember seeing Lizard people as one.

I just played the "Footsteps" Arc though and for some reason this getting Hall of Fame rubs me the wrong way.
  18. I don't remember seeing any of these arcs as a DC.
  19. Yeah they posted some Hall of Fame Arcs up today. I'm not entirely sure how to react to them...
  20. I never seen past Dr.Aeon. That's a tough fight in itself. What really sucked was last time we fought him he had about a sliver of Health left when the tank was owned, Aeon gained health back and then we wiped. *sigh*
  21. Statesman ordered them to go back up. They're smart enough to listen.
  22. Each Arc having it's own story would be fine, but I think you should let the player know in the description they'd probably be better off playing the Arcs Sequentially. Or just label them Part1 etc. You don't want somoene coming in mid arc and wonder "what's going on? This story doesn't make sense." That's a quick way to a low rating.
  23. I would advise only to use Defeat Alls on Small Maps and not anything larger.
