Drones have no more perception than any other normal enemy. What Drones do have (which they share with Rularuu Sentries) is that they ignore stealth completely.

A critter with higher perception will aggro on you from a long way off (see: snipers, with 149ft perception). Drones don't aggro from far away, but they also don't care how many different forms of stealth you have stacked together; they'll still see you once you come into range.

  4. The drops are not different for teams. Each time you or your team kills a critter, the game checks to see if the critter drops stuff (recipes, salvage, inspirations, enhancements; any critter could drop one, none, or all of these). On a team, the game then randomly assigns the drop to someone on the team.

Drops on a team are identical to drops solo. It's just that on a team you've got to share.

    40ft, actually.

How many bloodless revolutions have taken place in history? Not even the "Bloodless Revolution" is accurately named, as it involved two major battles a numerous violent riots.

It's nice to say that that nothing in this world is worth sacrificing a life, but I can't say I know of anything significant occurring without doing so. Even if you include politics and business, major events will frequently involve the disgrace or political/economic downfall of someone, leaving them without the life they once lived, even if they're technically still alive.

    Depends on the hero.

I've got several heroes who would have no trouble killing the baby on track B to save the people on track A. Some would save the baby instead if that was their mission.

I think in general it's all a matter of perspective. To pick a readily-available sample, since I've got the book in front of me: the character Water the Fields with Blood.

    Not... the most heroic name...

As a mortal, Water the Fields with Blood was a graverobber. Eventually, he looted the corpses of ghosts controlled by the Princess Magnificent with Lips of Coral and Robes of Black Feathers. Princess Magnificent herself was pressed into servitude to the First and Forsaken Lion, and she is not permitted to make deathknights. But she turned the graverobber into the deathknight Water the Fields with Blood, and she tried to use him to escape her bonds while simultaneously hiding WtFWB's existence from FaFL.

WtFWB escaped Princess Magnificent's hold because she had to concentrate on keeping him hidden. When he was discovered by a Sidereal named Lupo, he should have been killed immediately, but Lupo decided against it, and convinced his superiors to indoctrinate WtFWB into the Cult of the Illuminated.

WtFWB does honestly want to purge the evil from his soul. But the cult doesn't really trust him, and Lupo constantly reigns his actions with magic. The cult has found that WtFWB is extremely efficient at... "removing" Immaculate monks who prevent the spread of the Cult of the Illuminated. He is also capable of converting "whole towns with minimal, albeit inevitable, loss of life and sanity" to the cult. Except of course, his converts turn to the cult out of fear, not belief.

So: WtFWB was turned into a deathknight to help one deathlord escape her imposed fealty to another. Although he should be evil, WtFWB escaped his master and joined the Cult of the Illuminated - a group intent on restoring the Solar Exalted (champions of the sun and of virtue) to the rulership of the world, although it is a fact that the Solars' decadent actions were the reason for their original downfall (although their actions were caused by a curse, they're still cursed). The cult sends WtFWB to kill monks of the Immaculate Order (the primary world religion, which venerates the Dragon-Blooded as princes of the earth, and gives proper dues to the various gods of the world), and to convert towns to their cause through fear and intimidation (impressive, since WtFWB is short and lacks a commanding presence).

The normal guy was forced into being a bad guy for semi-good reasons, escaped being a bad guy to join the good guys, who have removed some of his free will and send him to do bad things.

According to Infernal's backstory, the alternate Earth he comes from practices demon-binding because it's the only practical way to prevent the Earth from being overthrown by demon. That implies to me that Infernal doesn't summon demons at all, at least in the game background. He just defends himself by binding the demons that attack into his equipment.

Now, in the game he does summon demons, but, well... yeah. They're also CoT demons. =/

I think the primary issue is something along the lines of:
    - Invite Blaster
    - Give Blaster star
    - Blaster sets mission in Hero zone
    - Brute activates Mission Teleport

Of course, they could probably set up the zone teleport so that it makes sure you're allowed to enter the zone, but it's just another source for bugs to come from.

If you remove the super-ego you have a perfect being of reason and order without any ambition or emotion, and if you can find a way to put it in a mechanical body you have the perfect slave. The Ghouls seem like they're all pure id, but apparently are flesh and bone, so maybe there's some reason they can't be destroyed by the Emporer without ending his precious clockwork...
Ego, Superego, and Id are parts of the mind, not the soul (though there are some people who'd tell you that the mind and soul are two names for the same thing).

Along the same idea, though, you could consider the Hun and Po souls in Taoism. The Hun soul is more subtle than the Po; it is ethereal and lighter than the Po, and so leaves the body at the time of physical death. The Po soul is more physical and corporeal; it sticks around after physical death.

In some interpretations of the Hun-Po idea, the Hun, or 'higher soul', enters the cycle of reincarnation immediately after death. If not properly dealt with, the Po, or 'lower soul', will remain in the body or sink into the earth, and become a hungry ghost. Po would probably have been blamed for unexplained deaths.

Hun-Po is also fairly closely linked to Yin-Yang. The opposites contain and reflect one another, which I think fits nicely with the theme of GR, as well as the stuff we've heard of it so far. But that might just be coincidental, due to the same Yin-Yang reflections that have permeated creativity for so long, that nobody thinks back to the original source.
