In addition to half debt within missions (and half debt outside in the RWZ), missions offer a mission completion bonus which isn't available street sweeping. And if you run arcs, finishing the arc offers even more bonus XP.

It's not that XP outside was nerfed. It's that XP for completing missions was heavily buffed, and the penalty for failing in missions was reduced.

    -Fly

Yeah, the only way to protect against -Fly is more +Fly. The only power which grants flight to another player is Group Fly, and Hover has 4 Fly.
  4. I'd like to claim that Hellgate: London and Champions Online failed/are failing because of Bill Roper

dimensions don't have to be linearly aligned in a single progression, they could be planar, or even spacial and above. It's fun to theorise with this, since you can make all manner of aliens without repeating yourself that way.
Any vector in the nth dimension is a linear combination of n basis vectors. While the basis vectors are not necessarily perpendicular ({-1,2} and {1,1} form a basis for 2D space), they cannot be parallel (two parallel vectors cannot be part of the same basis, by definition).

Level 3 is the first time you can use respecs, actually.
  8. Rather than Illusion for Domainators, can I get an Illusion for Masterminds?

I'm curious where you draw this conclusion from. Our 'netherworld' is expressed with darkness, shadows, and tentacles. None of which are exhibited by our demons, who are all about fire and claws.

Doctor Aeon is strong... with SCIENCE!

And Phipps is... the proprietor of a homeless shelter.

That's certainly how it's supposed to work. But it's possible for your account to get bugged that it thinks you don't own any lv50 characters, and the only way to fix the bug is to log in to a lv50.

Do not believe what the scientists tell you. The natural history we know is a lie, a falsehood sold to us by wicked old men who would make the world a dull gray prison and protect us from the dangers inherent to freedom. They would have you believe our planet to be a lonely starship, hurtling through the void of space, barren of magic and in need of a stern hand upon the rudder.

Close your mind to their deception. The time before our time was not a time of senseless natural struggle and reptilian rage, but a time of myth and socery. It was a time of legend, when heroes walked Creation and wielded the very power of the gods. It was a time before the world was bent, a time before the magic of Creation lessened, a time before the souls of men became the stunted, withered things they are today.

(Edit: Also, I just realized yesterday that the guy that first introduced me to Exalted is now "Balseraph", one of the Champions Online devs. I hung out with him every summer for 3 years when I was in high school.)

The Rogue Isles don't really have a similar government structure to Praetoria. Praetoria is a meritocracy - the best in each field holds power in the field. The Rogue Isles is social darwinism - the strongest hold the power.

It's not stated in-game that Ghost Falcon is from Praetoria, but it was in Manticore's Canon Fodder:

Answer: Ghost Falcon is the Analog of Invisible Falcon from Praetorian Earth. At one point in his past he attacked the Crey facilities of that world, and was captured. Crey scientists there severed the mental link he had to the rest of his team and deprogrammed him as part of their 'Project: Redemption'. Ghost Falcon has come to Primal Earth after a portal was recently opened between the two universes. His motives here are still unknown.
Invisible Falcon fell to Crey's Revenant Hero Project. Considering that Ghost Falcon fell to Praetorian Crey's Project: Redemption, I think it's a fair guess that Invisible Falcon is now a Paragon Protector, or else a Paragon Protector Elite (maintaining parallels between the dimensions).

Yes, considering almost all water in the game is just waist-deep. They could just offset the display of your character model if you're in water, moving, and with a runspeed higher than a certain threshold. (Super Speed @ lv6 with no slotting is 51.59 mph)

I don't think so. "Nether" means "lower" or "under", and derives from several words in a number of languages which all mean "down". While modern Christianity commonly portrays hell as being under the earth, there are many, many, many portrayals of an underworld which is not hell at all. Commonly, the underworld is simply a place where souls go after death. It's not a place of punishment or eternal torture, simply the next place you go.

In mythologies with an underworld, the "hell" equivalent is either a separate realm entirely, or a segregated area of the underworld.
  21. Ooh, how about Ghost Falcon? He's already from Praetoria, anyway. (His Primal Earth counterpart is a villain named Invisible Falcon)

Ben is referring to a power which ALL AVs get, named "Resistance". Resistance cycles between an "up" period (during which, you see a purple triangle graphic pointing upwards circling the AV) and a "down" period (at the beginning of which, the purple triangles turn down and disappear). During the "up" period, the AV is given an additional mag 50 protection to almost all mez effects.

The "up" period lasts 50 seconds, and the "down" period lasts 25 seconds.

[Resistance] is often reffered to as "Purple Triangles", in reference to the graphic. Sometimes also known as "Purple Triangles of Doom/Death" or "PToD"

T9 armor powers such as Unstoppable will stack with PToD, too.

And even then... have you actually looked at Ghost Widow's hair? It's not that great when examined close-up =/
  25. Do you really think that "Unlockables [powers] from running the story arcs in zone" would be something other than a temporary power?
