I was playing my earth/earth dom and was able to reproduce this 100% of the time. If I used quicksand from around a corner none of the enemies were aggrod.
Exploit? Working as intended?

Same thing happened to my team of 8 last night. No mapserver and we did get merits and those who did it for the first time got the badge but we didn't get the Master of badge.
Hopefully they grant it to us. Their excuse last time for not giving us merits or badges was that everyone disconnected.
Well sorry pals it's a bug in your ******* game!

I don't know if I'll ever live to see the day of no more outsourcing. It wasn't so bad 15 years ago but for the past 10 years so many companies are doing it.
For my company most of the talent and employees are over in India (Robot HQ) and they get paid at best 1/8th of what an equivalent US (Human HQ) employee makes. For a robot GM it wouldn't surprise me if it's 1/15th.
I don't necessarily blame my company or others that do this like Dell or Gateway but the customers end up holding the bag in the end. They get **** support, template responses and do whatever they can to not call or contact support just to save them some frustration.
I think the solution is to have [censored] sex. It worked for Southpark, I think it'll work here too. -
Auto exemped from 50 to lvl 10 I tried spawning a shivan and nothing happened.

He said the stability issues were fixed in the patch today. The patch where we're not getting patch notes.

Nah, I'll let someone else run it and if it's reported as fine now, great.
Anyway still no merits. I guess we're all liars and trying to get away with free badges and merits! -

We have been made aware of some stability issues with the release of Issue 16. These issues are corrected at this time and you should be able to play without further interruptions. We apologize for the frustration these connection issues may have caused to you and all players affected.
As a result of certain logout situations, your character may experience the loss of brief periods of gameplay, usually no more than several minutes. As your character's persistent state was not saved properly in these instances, support will not be able to reimburse any rewards as the record was not properly communicated from your client to the server.

This happened again on the BSF so my guess is it's reproducible on either side. Petitions were logged by everyone I think so hopefully we all get our merits and/or badges.

We had the same issue on an MOBSF. Mapserver after we exited the final mission. Relogged, * was passed and Baracuda was visited to end the TF.
We got nothin'. I petitioned it. -

This seems to be a growing concern around players and with all the posts I've seen about it, NCSoft support has been less than helpful by going on the logs alone, noting the mission was completed so therefore no problem. I think the solution for this should be flashing red text above your toon's head that says "You are in SG mode!" every 5 seconds.

A team of us ran a master Baracuda SF yesterday. We failed it but finished it. After exiting the last mission we *all* mapserved. Everyone on the team did.
Once we all logged back in the * had passed to someone else and he went to see Baracuda to finish it.
Nobody got merits. -
You can't spam bad costumes. You can spam ID, SB, heals, buffs, hot pink shields, etc.
I think it is a bit different.
But I do agree there are a fair amount of bad costumes out there, I have probably created most of 'em. -
I'm 36 and I don't do this.
Instead I run circles around people, use the chicken and burp emotes and if we don't get started by the time I get tired of doing that, I start jumping up and down.
But it's usually not my #1 move. -
Now instead of dancing when I use recall friend it doesn't finish the animation but the recall still works.

So I apologize for cross-posting in advance.
Anyway I'd like to see an option to default the game's power colors.
Not everyone is going to make great color choices and others may want to make outrageous choices on purpose. Hot pink fire blasts or kin buffs are examples of this.
Well this type of thing can wear on the eyes after a while and my eyesight is OK.
Think of it as a profaniy filter for colors. Or chat colors can be another example of this. We have the option to turn 'em off. I only had to do this once when a teammate had a pink chat balloon with purple text in it. It was too much.

I hear ya. I logged 2 bugs in game yesterday and there's no indication that they're logged. It would be nice if it worked the same way every time.
However the bug report I put through the website was submitted properly and not only did I get an email notification but I also got a response with the template "thank you, it has been forwarded, post on the forums, they read those" 30 minutes after I put in the bug report through the website.
Maybe just luck but how do we tell if they've actually received our in game bug reports?

I logged a petition and I got a response pretty quickly that it was being passed along to a senior representative. I expect this.
However I logged 2 bug reports in game and got no email. I did get the "Bug logged. Thanks!" text though.
So I just verified from support.cityofheroes.com and saw that my petition was listed but my bug reports were not.
So I submitted a bug report from the website and there it was. And I got an email right away for it.
So just a heads up that my bug reports are not working from in game and you may want to check your own in case you've filed any bugs in game.

I have an energy/kin but he's chaotic. He has Whirlwind and Repel. He knows he's chaotic and plays this role well. He also has softcapped ranged defense which is good enough mitigation in most situations.
It's a beautfiul thing. -

Not if someone's being obnoxious with their power color choices on purpose.
Consider it a profanity filter for costumes.

If the creator has a well thought out costume and chose decent colors then fine. But there are going to be those people that will choose the brightest colors possible for their attacks. I would only be able to stand looking at hot pink fire blasts for so long.
I had teamed with someone a while back who had a pink bakcground in their chat bubble with purple text. It was terrible and thankfully I was able to turn the chat balloon option off.
My eyes just can't take that type of thing for very long.
I'll log a suggestion to have this feature added. Doubtful it'll happen any time soon but at least I'll have the suggestion out there. -
Post a Hijackthis and Dxdiag. Chances are it's the video card.

2 questions:
1) Can email be turned off for all of my toons by setting one option? I'm not interested in leaving it on for any of my 45 characters.
2) Is there a way to default the colors for what I see if I don't want to see someone's hot pink fire blasts?
