Dr. Khan Task Force Issue
this happened to the mobsf i was in, we were on the last mission and almost killed the av and we all mapservvered, and when everone got back on the tf was complete with no merits and no badge
We had the same issue on an MOBSF. Mapserver after we exited the final mission. Relogged, * was passed and Baracuda was visited to end the TF.
We got nothin'. I petitioned it.
I experienced this issue too. The whole team mapservered right before the last AV fell.
@Demobot
Also on Steam
Same here. We had the requirements met to get the badge, and didn't get that or the rewards. Not that it should matter, but this was on Victory, blue side.
Ran it a 2nd time. Same results. But this time, Richey died fast, before the companion AVs fell. But when Gryph fell (as the last one) We again, got the Mapservered out error, had to relog, and came back to no merits.
We even have a video of it being uploaded to youtube now, so the GMs can see it, and award those that didnt get the rewards, and it can be fixed.
<e> apparently the Video only recorded 30 seconds... the n00b.... :/ </e>
This happened again on the BSF so my guess is it's reproducible on either side. Petitions were logged by everyone I think so hopefully we all get our merits and/or badges.
Sounds like this is a common problem.
We had the MoKhan going smoothly till right before the AV went down, we all dc'd and when we logged back in, no badge, no merits. We all sent petitions and got back the standard "Giving it to the higher ups* reply. Still waiting on a update *checks clock* 24 hours later.

Drat it turns out my screenshot of this same bug didn't have the UI on. Apparently /screenshotui 1 while you're losing connection doesn't work
haha. its like the game DOESNT want us to capture this bug..
I told ole Roland that this was unacceptable and asked him when it was fixed.

Hello,
We have been made aware of some stability issues with the release of Issue 16. These issues are corrected at this time and you should be able to play without further interruptions. We apologize for the frustration these connection issues may have caused to you and all players affected.
As a result of certain logout situations, your character may experience the loss of brief periods of gameplay, usually no more than several minutes. As your character's persistent state was not saved properly in these instances, support will not be able to reimburse any rewards as the record was not properly communicated from your client to the server.
Regards,
GM Roland
I have a screenshot showing the last mission complete with the challenge settings still intact and they aren't going to give me my badge. Nothing like paying someone to waste your time and efforts. I enjoy the accomplishment of the more challenging aspects of this game, but I expect to have something to show for it. It's like buying something at the store, getting home to find the box empty, and having customer support point to the "no refunds" sign when you return. Absolutely terrible.
And after all these years of devoted patronage...
He said the stability issues were fixed in the patch today. The patch where we're not getting patch notes.
Do I waste my time by trying to run another one?
Nah, I'll let someone else run it and if it's reported as fine now, great.
Anyway still no merits. I guess we're all liars and trying to get away with free badges and merits!
Oh, i'm going to keep on responding til people get what they lost..
this is what i responded back,
I still do not understand how, with the fact that it was an issue and is resolved, that you guys cannot award us with the lost rewards that were due to us? It's not like we were faking the issue. If you have logs of us being in it, and it got completed, then it should be enough to warrant a reward of lost merits at the very least. If YOU cannot make this happen, I would like to hear from someone above YOU to explain to me with all the evidence and proof that this bug, which was real, and swiftly fixed supposedly, that those bitten by this bug are not entitled to the rewards they deserved for completing the task force.
The fact that it was supposedly fixed (presumably in today's patch), tells me that they had time to code a fix, run it through internal testing, and run it by QA before publishing it. That suggests pretty strongly to me that they knew it was an issue before I16 launch, but our time and efforts weren't worth even a footnote in the Known Issues list or even a warning in the I16 patch notes. That's what really burns my butt about the whole thing. Many people, myself included, don't have many hours each week to play this game. How much our time is valued by the providers of this game is going to be 95% of our perception of how valued we are as customers. I understand how hard the devs work on this game, and I think they are doing a fine job, but patch note, a warning, a bullet in the Known Issues list would have gone a long way here.
Do I trust that it is, in fact fixed? Based on my past encounters with Customer Support, NO. Their information in the past has ranged from slightly incorrect to blatantly false. In nearly 6 years, I've had one good encounter with CS. What's my recourse if I somehow manage to pull this amazing feat off again and the same thing happens? Another form letter will be my only reward.

Give me my merits robot Roland!
I don't know if I'll ever live to see the day of no more outsourcing. It wasn't so bad 15 years ago but for the past 10 years so many companies are doing it.
For my company most of the talent and employees are over in India (Robot HQ) and they get paid at best 1/8th of what an equivalent US (Human HQ) employee makes. For a robot GM it wouldn't surprise me if it's 1/15th.
I don't necessarily blame my company or others that do this like Dell or Gateway but the customers end up holding the bag in the end. They get **** support, template responses and do whatever they can to not call or contact support just to save them some frustration.
I think the solution is to have [censored] sex. It worked for Southpark, I think it'll work here too.

Hardly a statistically valid sample, but it worked for us.

Yeah, I completed the TF twice tonight (neither time succeeding to earn the badge I've already earned). It seems to complete without crashing you now, at least as long as you don't qualify for the Master badge. To think about how many attempts it will take me to get me this badge AGAIN fills me with disgust. I need a new hobby.
The two masters runs that I've done since the patch have both worked. The problem appears to have been fixed.
Yesterday, I was on a team on Triumph, trying for the Master of Dr. Khan Task Force.
After the 3rd time getting a death, we said screw it and just go to finish it.
At the end, we beat down Riechy, and right when he goes down, we ALL go down.. As in Mapserver. We would all log back in, to the mission and Task Force being completed, and no rewards what so ever.
One of the people on that team, ran it again later on that night. And the same exact thing occured.
Anyone else getting this issue? This was on Triumph Server yesterday. I will do it again today to see if it repeats (maybe)
In-game support told me basically tough, we found no error.
I told them to dig through Triumph's Dr. Khan related tickets and see.
