Don't forget, the president's daughter is on board and must be rescued.

Quote:At the time I posted, the conversation was discussing that when a new costume set comes out, you no longer see large groups of players adopting it as we had at one time. Issue 4 was my last remembrance of such a mass adoption to what could be considered to be a themed costume set.I have an Electric/Electric blaster who is a Japanese school girl! What of it?! I'm on Virtue and I haven't seen another Japanese school girl looking character for quite awhile now actually. There was a Japanese school girl super group about 3 years ago. When they all got together and hung around AP that was a sight to behold.

One critic described it as "Escape from New York ... in SPACE!", which actually makes it sound good. Given the choice, I would probably go see Cabin in the Woods.

Just reminding people. Saturday 11a EDT on Nickelodeon, NOT Nicktoons or NickJr or some other Nick that's bundled with a bunch of channels and costs an extra $20 a month, good old fashion original standard cable package Nickelodeon.

Well heroes want redheads.

I do a weekly malware scan with SUPERAntiSpyware, Spybot S+D and Malwarebytes.

I'm betting these are promo clips for each of the stars as they do the talk show circuit.

I vaguely remember a 50s SciFi/Horror film where the "brain in a jar" manifests TK and mind control on it's own. It's almost a staple of the "brain in a jar" subgenre.

I remember when City of Japanese Schoolgirls came out (Issue 4). Today's lack of similarity is the result of the collective 7 plus years of added costume parts. Since Freedom how may costume sets have they added? CoT, CoL, Barbarian, Halloween, Elemental Order, Fire/Ice, Gunslinger, Imperial Dynasty, Olympian Guard, Imperial Defense, Celestial, Pocket D, plus account wide unlocks on Vanguard, Roman, Spring Fling, Winter Event pieces (I know I'm forgetting some). We haven't had this many costume pieces added over this short of time since CoV went live.
It's no wonder we rarely run into our unintentional doppelgangers anymore. -
Just start another thread. These type of consultations are best when we don't have to constantly direct our advice to a poster other than the OP. It's not like the forum will run out of space or won't let you start your own thread.
Bet you never start teams either. -
Quote:When a new patch is pushed or a major event like going to F2P, there are more than enough people simultaneously trying to download over the next 48 hours that lumping you with a couple dozen other downloaders for the duration. When simultaneous requests drop to low enough levels, Pando switches to a normal FTP download.I venture to doubt the latter; in order to maintain peer levels during the download periods, I would expect that you're part of the peer cloud at any time the game client is active.
Turbine uses it.
Cryptic uses it now.
At least two other F2P MMOs (one Asian, one European) I've tried use it.
Pando sells the software to MMO companies to reduce their usage requirements when they push updates and new installs.
Again, I've never seen Pando uploading except when I'm being patched or installing an MMO for the first time. -
Buffy's just would just pop up behind Widow as she's peering through the scope and quip something Buffyish. As for not hearing a sniper shot, she has better danger sense than Spiderman.
-
I've never seen Pando use bandwidth except when I'm patching a game that uses it for patching and when the patch is done, so is Pando. Yes it's like Bittorrent but it's no different that Blizzard's BT implementation in WoW, you are only part of the peer cloud when you are downloading.
-
I've seen Pando used in a number of F2P MMOs to handle downloads. Honestly, the paranoia is both gratifying to see (people actually paying attention to what's running on their machine) and somewhat comical since you are implying that NCSoft is intentionally installing something bad on your computer so you can continue to play their game (as well as spending money in their item shops).

Doesn't NCLauncher need .NET 2.0 to run? It sounds like a problem with .NET being all wonky.

Always go with faster GDDR5 memory. DDR3 would cripple performance.

First, looking at that Dell manual, there is some kind of retention mechanism on the case for the power supply. I have no idea how that may interfere with a longer PSU.
Looking at the website you linked to, your $200 USD budget and a currency converter, means you are budget is around 1000-1100 KR. Only problem with that budget is I think you are expecting a lot more improvement than I think that you will get.
Hyper recommended the Silverstone, I would recommend either the Antec EA-430D or Antec BP-500U, either for 400KR. Primary reason I picked those two is because they are the size as the PSU you are replacing. But if that latch inside is easily defeated, then physical size won't be an issue.
This leaves you with 600-700KR for a video card. I'll pick the Gigabyte model but I'm worried that the double wide for the full length design could interfere with the big honking CPU heatsink in that Dell. BTW the GTS 450 is only roughly 30-35% faster than the 9800GT.
Oh and a little tidbit on that Hantol PSU you linked to. It may be rated 720 watts but it could only output 288 watt at 12 volts which is the voltage that both CPUs and video cards use. The EA-430D can put out 384 watts at 12 volts, the Silverstone ST50F 408 watts.
One thing I'm hesitate to point out, the GTS 450 supposedly uses the same about of power as a 9800GT. In "theory" you don't need to upgrade your PSU but it's a whole lot safer if you did. -
Mutant Vs Mutated.
Cosmic rays mutated the Fantastic Four
Gamma bomb mutated Bruce Banner
Radioactive spider mutated Peter Parker
Now if their offspring acquired some or all of their powers, they will be mutants. -
Sorry, sending you one before getting it back just isn't done. And yes you will be paying for shipping it back and you will have to wait unless you paid an extreme premium for a product.
PC boutique companies like iBUYPOWER run on very thin margins. And since this was a PC built for a retailer I imagine the margins are even thinner. It's also likely that iBP doesn't have replacements laying around to swap with you. They usually have a 14 day wait between order and shipping. They aren't Dell, HP or even Gateway. They simply don't have a warehouse full of ready to ship product.
Maybe we should have been clearer about iBP's rep with you before you ran out to buy it. The rep being that they are a small custom PC manufacturer that caters to gamers and can't afford a top end customer service experience for what they charge. You want great CS, buy Puget Systems but expect to pay a lot more. Or as what you did, buy Alienware which has the financial backing of Dell.
Anyways, what does the Alienware you ordered has as a CPU and video card? -
All true. But the price war he started led to a lot of people owning C64s, over 20 million.

Back in the day it was Level 14 for me, primary travel power. Of course now with Primary travel available at level 4 or purchased travel powers like Ninja Run, that isn't the target anymore.

The HD 5770/6770 was a great $150 mid range card when it first came out in late 2009, it's just now two and a half years later it's considered a low end gaming card today with after rebate prices just under $100. It has about the same performance as the nVidia GTX 550Ti.
I haven't bothered to see what other video cards Dell offers on that model but selection may be limited due to the model's modest 460 watt PSU. I'm not saying 460 watts isn't a lot, the GTX 560Ti's that Hyper listed should be fine are are around 75-80% faster than the HD 6770, just don't expect it to handle a $300+ high end video card without pushing it uncomfortably close to the PSU's limit. -
As much as you didn't like the options, that's standard. If you buy a Sony Blu-ray player and it doesn't work your choice is returning it to the store or sending it to Sony for repair and wait.
You could have returned your system to Costco and try another one. Last year my folks finally bought a new computer from Staples. Got it home, it booted fine but the DVD drive wouldn't open. I drove down and my dad and I went to Staples and got it swapped, no problem. Still, lousy phone support.
