Well to be fair, a four foot tall white cat with a mask is still fairly recognizable! There's only one fuzzy half-pint white cat in the city!

So joining Vanguard without a Security level (Something announced in game to notify you what level the zone is OOC) breaks the game world?

Really? C'mon. it's like saying Monopoly's no longer Monopoly if I paint the boot red.

I don't think we're objecting to thier existance, I think it's the slightly vindictive argument that people can't POSSIBLY join Vanguard without having them assigned is my objection. Or that people are somehow unable to work out how powerful someone is unless FC has tagged a number onto them!

Also it just doesn't make sense Vanguard would want you to go get a Security Rating rather than just trial you, especially when they're assigned by Freedom Corp. Which Vanguard don't particularly get along with, what with them occupying the same warzone in a rather bitter rivalry.

Fans is security level 50, but I know that a lot of people are far more powerful than her on a roleplay level. Sure she's tough to kill and pretty strong but she's far from invincible or unstoppable! there's a fair list of people who I could name who have a signifcantly higher power level at 50 and a few who are lower too!

Prominant Activist dies in mysterious circumstance

Today Jonathan Bridge and spokesperson for the outspoken group "Sanctid Life" died of a siezure while at a rally today, outside the headquarters of the Neurogen Headquarters. The group were protesting the Companies experimentation of neurological compounds on animals when during a passionate and outspoken speech, Jonathan Bridge grasped his head and the collapsed. he was pronounced dead when the Doctors have arrive, so far no verdict has been delivered to cause of death although the Police have ruled out that Neurogen themselves could be responisble.

Neurogen have expressed thier sympathies to the families "The right to protest is one we believe should be upheld, this tragedy has shocked us all here. While we believe our research here is very important to the advancment of science, we always have allowed people the right to speak out against this."

The "Sanctid Life" has cancelled all further protests for the year while the incident is dealt with. "We all miss Johnathan, he was one of a kind." said one member. The Police have appealed for any witnesses who may have pertinent information to come forward.

I tend to go with the normal answer if it's not of importance or point of real conflict for my character, the rest will usually deviate from the norm a little (or a lot!)

Fans is registered, then again this is because she's so rigid about Goverment Control being a good thing. She'd love to support Licences being swept in too!

Speak for yourself there, please. I and my friends manage perfectly well playing within the game canon. We fudge and extrapolate where there are holes, but we keep everything within reasonably safe limits and don't break the canon. We're all registered heroes and don't seem to find it a problem; quite the opposite in fact.

It's pretty easy and we don't feel that our creativity is being limited.

I meant that most players don't roleplay in the game. Roleplaying is a whole different game to level grinding and farming inf. Only one of my Heroes isn't registered IC, Ulala, and that's simply due to the fact she wouldn't need too benefit from anything they can offer, nor would she if told to do so!
