    Mace changes

I don't think all secondary sets are meant for damage output only. Axe, Stone and Mace got decent damage paired with very nice damage mitigation. Ice is the most defencive set (little damage, loads of control), Fire the best for AoE, Energy the best ST (even if late bloomer) and Super Strenght the best overall.

That's how I see things. Each set with its goods and bads. Anyway, I'm not saying I wouldn't love to see Mace and Axe getting buffed. I just don't think it will happen.

    Mace changes

When I think of a Knight whirling a Mace I come up with the picture of the opponent(s) getting knocked down/up/back by it and landing on the ground stuned. You already got those secondary effects on it.

The only problem with Axe and Mace is that S/L damage is quite resisted later on. Other than that, both sets are fine. Ice Melee is still the less balanced set imo.
  3. I'll be happy to join. Either Scrapper/Troller/Tanker.

If you are not getting aid self on a /sr... just don't roll it imo (unless you plan to team much with an empath or bubbler that is)

    [/ QUOTE ]

My Spines/SR made 50 lvls without Aid Self quite easily. Fill your insps tray with lucks (and a row with respites) and use them whenever you feel like you'll need it.

Go to PvP zone and grab the intangibility temp (you get it from warbug I think) for critical moments.

About your teamates.. Yes, Bubblers and Empaths are nice but they're not the only ones who can boost your suvivability. Rads and Darks can make things easier for you with their ToHitDebuffs.

My vote goes for SR. It takes a while, but you'll get uber and probably enjoy your toon way more than a Regen.

Looks great. About EMP Arrow, you can play with the slots later on. If you use Power Boost before EMP Arrow, 1 Hold should be enough to hold the mobs for quite a while. That leaves you one spare slot for yet another Recharge or even an EndMod (not sure if it will drain the whole End tho - maybe minions only).
  7. Well done Staar! *Thumbs Up*
  8. False_Fiction

    Illu/TA

About the PPP, I'd go Primal. With Conserve Power, you can easily skip Stamina (just grab a few IOs and try to get +15-20%EndRec). Oh, and Power Boost + EMP Arrow is a beauty.
  9. False_Fiction

    Illu/TA

Glue Arrow: Too many slows imo. Keep in mind that you'll use Spectral Terror quite often which should be enough to keep foes in Glue radius. I'd go with 3Rech1Slow

Acid Arrow: IIRC the 3rd DefDebuff only adds like 1%DefDebuff. You'd be better off with a recharge in there. (Actually, I love AA way too much - I'd add a 6th slot and place yet another Rech)

Spectral Terror: Swap an EndRed for Recharge. TA really is light on END. Since you got Stamina, you shouldn't be concerned about EndReds that much.

Note that I'm no expert on TA side. These are the toughts of a L19 Archer only
  10. False_Fiction

    PVP Empath

    No, I don't think so.
  11. False_Fiction

    TA/

Yea, I'll stick with it. I really think it can make a difference.

Does any of the debuffs stacks with itself?
  12. False_Fiction

    TA/

So, I've been reading a couple guides and it seems like most people dislikes Poison Gas Arrow. Then, I took a look at Mid's and it says -31,3% Dmgbuff. I find it quite a good power, what am I not getting here?
  13. False_Fiction

    TA/

Thanks for all the input. I just got L14 with TA/A and it's been fun so far.

I'm still trying to figure out the best opening power but it's quite hard since I got no AoE mezzer nor ToHit Debuffs. I've been using Poison Gas Arrow since it reduces the incoming damage and got a chance to sleep the mobs but I still get the whole aggro. Any tips or should I just grab a Tank to my team and let him go in first?
  14. False_Fiction

    TA/

I'm dead set taking a TA to high levels (especially to prove a few friends how great it can be in teams). I just can't decide between TA/A and TA/Sonic.

I don't see many TA/Sonics around so that's quite attractive to me since I hate popular builds (even if TA isn't that popular itself - pitty).

Any suggestions? I might level both to mid-20s and see which one is the most promissing.
  15. False_Fiction

    Illu/TA

Magic will do. And yes, Phantasm and Decoys can light it up too.
  16. False_Fiction

    Illu/TA

I'm not saying Flash isn't good to have. It's just that Illusion/TA seems like a ranged type troller to me. I'd stick with PA, Spectral Terror and Emp Arrow to "control" the mobs at range.
  17. [ QUOTE ]
Don't really have time to commit to a superteam (having trouble getting to the one i'm in already), but just have to say....I love the sound of that team and the playstyle they've got.

    [/ QUOTE ]

It would be a Supergroup actually. Got a buddy suggesting an all Rad/Archery team so we would have Fallout and Rain of Arrows (it's a rubbish semi-nuke on its own, but should be wicked with 8AMs, 8Assaults, Vengeance and Debuffs). It's just a suggestion tho, not a requirement. In the end it's all about Fallout madness.

    [ QUOTE ]
    That made me smile.

-take flash, no proper trolling without your AoE hold

It's not really a must for Illusion/Fire trollers. I'd prefer Spectral Terror/Flashfire anyday.

Have some faith on Devs You still got a long way 'til L35. I believe they'll fix it soon.
  20. [This idea was taken from an existent CoH-US SG called Faithful Fans of Fallout]

    Short story: Outstanding fun group.
Long story: I'm too lazy to type. Look here.

This could be done either on Union or Defiant. For now I'm just checking the receptivity to this "Superteam".
  21. Your pets stay active while you're Hibernating, but not your debuffs (you don't get detoggled tho).
  22. Looks expensive Unless you're planning on high lvl PvP only, I'd swap SJ with a passive.

    PVP Picks

I'm not much of a PvPer but Gravity trollers can be quite annoying too. In fact, the only primary not so good for PvP is Earth. Which is a pitty tbh - Earth is my favourite primary.
