I could of sworn I came across you somewhere in that game but might be getting names mixed up. If I'm not mistaken you had a cool looking character there.
Here's Errand Runner morning over the closure:

  2. Evening all who are doomed.

When the announcement came out, I was passionate about it like everyone else. Now, however, I am apathetic towards the game completely. I have not logged on for over a month and have no desire to. I am currently playing two MMOs (Champions Online and SWTOR) which takes up my gaming time. I always thought I would still do the rikti raids on Pinn every Sunday so I could finally get a villain to 50 but after three of them after the announcement, I stopped playing completely. I wanted to make my last time during double XP weekend but when it came, I just didn't care to play. Don't get me wrong, this game has literally improved my social life a lot. It taught me how to chat online and because of that, I made lots of friends. Now, however, my realistic side tells me "why bother" and I agree with it. I hope those who are staying until the end will be as satisfy as much as you can. And if ya ever want to team up in Champions, I have the same name as I have here too.

    God Bless.
  3. I've been playing CO a couple of days after black Friday and here's what I have to say about it:

    The Pros:

-As mentioned before, the travel powers are a plus
-Freeform (create a hero with any mixture of powers you want (imagine a tank that uses blaster attacks)
-Canada at night (if you love Tron, youll understand it when you see it )

    The Cons:

-Yea, teaming doesn't happen much (though us refuges need to make it common)
-It's sometimes hard to know if you pick up a mission that requires a team or not
    -Bugs galore in the APs

Please remember that the first thing that everyone mentions is to turn off the outline on the characters. It does look a lot better with it off (I don't quite understand why a small change like that does make a huge improvement but it does).

Also remember (and we can't stress this enough), IT IS NOT COH!!!
  4. I thought I was banned too due to the political thread. I was even thinking about messaging some one who's also in another forum I visit my reply to a post :P.
  5. I have been playing it for a month now and I have enjoyed it quite well. Graphics wise, taking the black lining away actually did improve it more than I thought. However, I was raised on the Atari/Turbo graphics 16/Sega Genesis so graphics, as long as it runs smoothly, are that important to me.

As for the bugs, they do get annoying but they are mainly in the APs so if you avoid them, you won't notice them (AP=TF btw).

It is a fun game to play and will please all of your alts desires. There are things that can be improved but all games have them.
  6. If you want to do darker missions, do the Adventure Packs. I would say those are pretty much darker than most of the regular stories.

Still here till Nov 30th. But so far it's looking like CO will be the spot. No bugs yet, nice combact system and other things I like. I started to think where every other mission here something gets stuck in a wall or some other crazy bug and have to wait 45-2 hours, and in some cases 3 hours before a GM comes. In CO, not sure how their reporting system works but so far so good and never even had to use it.
In both games, all you have to do is type "/stuck" and you will get unstuck.

I've been playing CO a lot since 9/3 and there are a lot of bugs but I still enjoy it. When you guys try it out, try looking at it as a completely different game instead of comparing it to COH.

Also, join the chat channel COX to chat with us fellow refugees.

Probably people like me who barely had enough to sub for COH and now are waiting to see it's fate before deciding where to sub next (and the fact that there are two birthdays coming up, two Taekwondo promotions, a 5k family race, a women's conference for the wife, an out of town trip, and other things that escape me right now).

If COH does go under, then I'll eventually sub for CO. For now, though, I'm enjoying my archer and my radiant hero .
  9. Now we need all those prople so recommend the CNN ireport.

    Where are you?

I just added mine to the map and notice that, since my brother (Ossuary) and I live in the same city, when I put my pin down, his disappeared.
  11. Since it's only an hour, I could bring either my lvl 43 stalker for damage or my lvl 44 kin defender to increase everyone else's damage.
  12. What's even better is that Lightning Rod does not take you out of hide. So you start with that, AS some one with the Stalker ATO to hide you again, then use another power for crit damage. Yea, electric stalkers are fun .
  13. For the escorts, why not have them jump on the backs of your pets (if they are out) and have the pets run with you to the door/whatever. Or if you have the panther power, they can jump on your back and you can run them.

    All Washed Up

I spent all my points on super packs last month so I have to wait two months to unlock water blast :/. I do have plenty of alts to level up so they will keep me busy.

As for names, I'm going to reroll my storm/electric defender (Seastorm) into either a storm/water defender or a water/storm corrupter. Either way, water blast makes more sense for the name Seastorm than electric .
  15. I had an idea a year or two ago for an AE arc that has you fight all the EBs separately. However, when I tried it, I couldn't figure out how to have a few different EBs at different parts of the map (all that ended up happening was spawns of six EBs all over the map). I have not tested it out yet since it sounds like they've updated it some more. Is it possible to have different EBs scattered throughout the map while keeping them away from each other?
  16. They could add that feature into the custom power section. Would make it easier to chose which one you would like. Also, a few more ideas:

Hissy Fit - you become frustrated that you can't win and you start stomping your feet and waving your arms or you would lay on your stomach and start pounding the floor with your hands while waving your feet

Mid Air (only works if you have a fly power on when you are defeated) - Your body would go limp but you are still floating in the air (when rezzed, you would drop to the floor and land on your feet)

The Spin (only used when defeated with a knockback/up power) - you're whole body does two 360s in the air before you land on your face

Shocking - electricity pulses through your body as you shout into the air before you collapse (best for tech characters who don't want to explode but want to show an overload)

Last words - the same animation as now but once your knees hit, the animation would be extended for a second and you can custom a quote to be spoken in local chat as if you say it before you collapse

That's all I can think of right now.
  17. Level 50 stormie...go to hallows...find a group on top of a roof...hit them with Gale...see how far they can fly.
  18. That was a fun night and it gave me a whole level of experience (from 48 to 49). If I'm available, I'll be bringing one of my other higher level toons out for the fun.
