Did you enter the holiday contest for best outfit or room in a base ? I would love to see the entries and since no one else can enter as of Jan 3rd I figured now it would be ok to ask to see the entries.

I entered the base portion of the contest and feel like sharing my entry

I have a fire shield scrapper and I discovered a place that I can't use one of my shield powers. I was in Fire Base Zulu with my SG and noticed I can't use shield charge at the storm palace because it is a teleport styled power. I find this to be very restricting as it is a part of my attack chain.

I am not sure who to speak to in the matter of having this changed, but I do think it should. This is an attack not a travel power or assistive power in any way, why should I be minus a power if I am playing at full level or higher from when I took this power. A zone or mission should not dictate what power I can use, unless I'm setting no temp or travel powers on a TF.

If anyone has any suggestions on who I should take this too please let me know. Also if you have any thoughts on this please speak up as I would like to hear what you have to say in this matter as well.

ok, the verdict is in, I showed the two colored pieces to my daughter and she chose the one WITH green so that is what I will get !!


We are most likely getting this done mid to late Feb. so I will post pics as we do it. I plan to do the tat in 2 sittings, but it may take 3. Both Barron and I will be getting this done the same days. Outline, then Color and it takes about 1-2 weeks for the outline to heal completely. Since Barron is getting his version a bit larger than mine and on his ribs his may take longer to heal.

I can't thank Caemgen & Suichiro enough for the color and skin tone effect as this made the choice so easy as for what colors to use in it.

Caemgen, those look great !!!! I can't wait to get this done, I may even keep the green!!

If ANYONE can use this guide and perhaps make a better looking final image I would be so thankful for the help. just a heads up, I want to keep ALL the black lines from the original even those i covered in my crappy paint edit

this is going to be my next tattoo. I am putting this on the back of my right shoulder with my daughter's initials and date of birth inside the eye.



If anyone would like to play with some golds and anything NOT RED (I'm allergic to red dye) in it that would be helpful so I can find a nice color scheme to show my tat artist. I tried the other night, but well. . . I suck at it to be honest.

the initials to go in it are P. L. W. and the date of birth is 11-16-01 in case you want to play with fonts and placement.

I hope you all like this as much as I do, but even if you don't I'm still getting it !! LOL also Barron is getting it on his right side rib cage.

It does not have to be a new character. The idea is to have ppl enjoy making a new deviation for the contest and for themselves, and to discourage ppl from re-using stuff already in their gallery. It can be a new or existing character you like. I hope this answers your Q.

my wish is that I hope everyone here and those I know IRL get what they need and find happiness in the travels that lead them to where they need to be. I am blessed to know each and every one of you plus I have a blessed family as well here at home. I honestly can't wish for anything for myself.
