The new I15 sounds effects caught me almost immediately. I was on the Rookery static team, running Frostfire, and I noticed it when I ran through one of the little ponds that the drainage things in the northern Hollows have.
Proceeded to splash around like I was in a kiddie pool for the better part of five minutes. -

The same thing does indeed happen if you finish the mission, then die, and hit "exit" instead of "go to hospital." You only go to the AE hospital if you click "go to hospital" inside an AE mission.
[/ QUOTE ]
...Inside an AE mission on a map that doesn't have an internal hospital, if memory serves.
Yes, I'm splitting hairs, and enjoying every minute of it. -

and on a more amusing note. I challenge any of these "the MA doesnt need xp" types to turn off their exp in their options settings and then play AE missions all day. Oh. and any tickets or influence you get You are required to throw away and not use.
[/ QUOTE ]
I have spent upwards of six hours with my lvl 50 Brute randomly picking and playing AE missions. No XP, and negligible tickets. Since I almost never transfer cash between characters, that's about as close to 0 reward as you can get.
[/ QUOTE ]
ZOMG you didnt get XP at level 50?
Do the same with a level 1 -10 and see if you miss getting XP then.
[/ QUOTE ]
The point of my post was to indicate that some of us are perfectly happy to explore content that gives no benefits.
I don't do the AE on lowbies usually, since it means I miss out on things like achievement badges and certain missions I particularly enjoy, like the Seer Marino Arc, or stuff in the Rikti War Zone or Cimerora. -

....of course, the guys I've made *also* have the chest slider over to the right, giving them pectoral development that's probably crushing their lungs. Whee!
[/ QUOTE ]
Better crushed lungs than those poor WoW females who wear their lungs on the outside of their chests. -
I'd totally join a VG called Grammar Nazis, but I think the N-word is blocked by the in-game filter.
Think Grammar Fascists (or better still, Fascii) is available? -
This should be stapled to the forehead of anyone who spams "healer LFT," "team LF healer," LFAEFT," or similar.

Cap au Diable is the hotspot for generic farm teams.
-
It's funny, I played part of that arc once, liked it, but didn't get to finish it, due to having a lousy team.
Offensive? Not in the least, that I noticed. -

There is one thing about the hospital/death etc in AE... the inspiration vendor standing outside the first-aid room doesn't sell awakens.
[/ QUOTE ]
Which is odd but meaningless, since three anything make an awaken, and awakens normally cost either 150 or 250, I can't remember. -

happy Canada day from the US! except you Quebec, no seriously, screw you.

Canuck you.
More seriously, why don't the French count as Native Canadians? They were there long before the English made it a country. -

Pogo, Tabby needs to see Dr Arcanus immediately!

Original/Praetor
Shadow's Storm: Glowing Sky
If I could find a more manly sound for that, I'd try it. Although the next char is sort of his Praetor to begin with...
Suppressant: Aerosol
I like this combo, actually.
Genshiro: Siberian Breakdown? Red Decay?
This one's hard.
Riskette: Surety or Certainty.
Cynin: Borja
Graveduster: Cradlecleaner
Techviper: Natural Dodo -

Argh.
/em flip now ends with you permanently in the "idle ready" animation. The one where you have one foot forward, and females are arms akimbo.
This used to put you in the "hands on hips" animation, and leave you in the idle animation swap loop (moving between hands on hips, arms crossed and foot forward)
This probably seems like a silly thing to be frustrated by, but I used /em flip to force characters into the idle cycle for screenshot and demo purposes.
[/ QUOTE ]
I kinda like the new version. Maybe what we need is /em idle so you don't need to use a workaround to get you into the animation loop you want?
[/ QUOTE ]
Try /em Idle1 or /em Idle2. I put those in back when we did the wedding event.
Between those and the /em akimbo /em crossarms emotes, you should be able to get the stance you're looking for
[/ QUOTE ]
You know... I like Emotes and would like to see more of them. However at this point I would really appreciate something User friendly added to the UI to list these emotes so I don't have to dig for the ones I want.
[/ QUOTE ]
Yeah. Hey Babs, do you think maybe we could get a list of ALL of the emotes *in* game please? Like the one we already have, but all of them. There are so many I forget about it isnt funny, and I have always wondered why all the emotes wasnt in the list that you can bring up where you can just click on them instead of having to type them in.
Think maybe, please please, huh huh?
[/ QUOTE ]
This is where I go for all my emote needs. Updated through the magic pack, at least.

You could realisticlay say its a B-cup with the slider all the way to the left, but yes, I've noticed that too - there's simply no way to make a genuinely flat-chested character in this game. Of course, RPG avatars are, to some extent, author fantasies, and I somehow doubt there are a great many more women who fantasize aobut being flat-chested than there are men who long to drool over it, so I suppose it works out.
[/ QUOTE ]
I've got nothing against reasonably flat-chested women. Of course, this goes along with my ambivalence about women shaving their armpits or being vegetarians, so take it with a grain of salt. I'm not really a fan of modern fashions.
Creepy personal revelations aside, I have numerous male and female heroes, in a variety of costumes. Oddly, the character who has gotten the most flack for his costume was the original Genshiro, a ninja clad from nose-to-toe in black. However, he initially wore the old tight pants, which led to an endless quantity of comments about posteriors and packages. -
I shall be present, despite by petulant resignation from the Rookery threads.

Planned Parenthood was all about trap-and-neuter strategies back in the 30s, but then something happened and nobody thought eugenics was science all of a sudden. -
Mod08 has spoken. It is within the rights and possibly good reason for a coffee shop to ban pets, and similarly, within the rights of a forum to ban potentially controversial conversation.
At the same time, it is likely that those fond of walking dogs will cease to visit such a business, and similarly those fond of seeing other's perspectives on modern issues and subjects will cease to visit such a forum.
As I am such a person, I see the future potential for entertainment here limited, and will leave the Rookery alone. -
In other news besides a certain unfortunately insane singer dying, the Aussie government is openly questioning AGW.
Oh, and this is for Fedor:

That, and if anyone ever says magic is "old-fashioned" or "medieval", then... um... go read Harry Potter... or speak to a Wiccan. ...
[/ QUOTE ]
Umm, I am not sure how to break this to ya.. Wiccan's can't do magic. If I speak to a wiccan I am pretty darn sure they are not going to convince me that magic is 'modern'. I like playing the occasional magic based toon, but you kind of bidened your argument on that one.
[/ QUOTE ]
I found this kind of hilarious for any number of reasons. Some of them involve alcohol, so it isn't necessarily related to what people actually said. -
I only do the reality TV version of costume contests. Run around in AP or Mercy or similar looking at costumes, and if I see one I like, I tell the person to stop moving long enough for get half a mill or whatever I feel like giving away.

I'd say BS/WP or /INV scrapper would be best for the sword-swinging version.
For the dark fists of pummeling Ganon, I'd go for DM/WP or INV Brute or Tanker.
For lots of purple magic stuff and shapeshifting, go Warshade. -

As a member of the rather modern generation, I can say I only knew of Michael Jackson as a cosmetic surgery freak and possible criminal of the worst kind. My familiarity with his music is nonexistent, and his death will be seen as a fortunate end to what was at best insanity.
