I personally won't be switching to a different server. When I chose Champion 5 years ago, I never expected to find this amount of great people. Had I chosen a different server I probably wouldn't have played for 5 years.
I transferred 1 character to Liberty to help them with the Hami raids but that's it. -
The Champion server has a global channel specifically for Badge, monster hunt and Task force called BMT of Champion. It's a private channel to prevent spammers and keep the discussion on those related topics but it's a great way to find Task force at pretty much any time of the day.
You can get an invitation by contacting @Cobalt Azurean.
The Hamidon raid can be done by any server, it requires at max 50 players (zone cap) but it was done by as little as 16. So the server population doesn't really impact if the raid will be doable or not.
As RosaQuartz said, Champion has A LOT of event planned for almost every day of the weeks (too much sometimes) so it's not hard to find people to play with and enjoy the game.

Hami Taunt -1 tank, 3 emps, 1 kin. If I am leading the raid, I'll be tanking Hami, emps keep AB on me, kin keeps SB and ID on emps.
Yellow Taunt - 6 Tankers and 2 support. Tanks stand out of the goo and taunt the yellows.
Scrapper Team - 6 Scrappers and 2 support. Their job is to take out the yellows asap.
Ranged Assault - Team made up of blasters and controllers, atleast one being able to provide status protection.
Everyone else form into teams and follow the Ranged assault team leader.
Hami taunter taunts hami, yellow taunters taunt the yellows, scrapper team knocks out the yellows, ranged assault knocks out the greens then the blues. After the mitos are down, everyone attacks hami. While attacking him, everyone goes thru single target buff cycle. Prior to his bloom, all aoe buffs are launched and after the bloom everyone goes back to their duty. Yellow tanks should have their mito thumbtacked so they can get back to position quickly. Ideally, everyone will know what they are to be doing and this process will mean a faster raid which could mean more than one raid in a night. -

This is a problem that every server has when starting to raid. The first couple of raids, it will take time to get enough people to come but after while and a couple successful raids you'll have the opposite problem: the zone will fill 30min BEFORE gather time.
I remember on Champion, the leaders had to log in the zone more than 1h early to make sure they had a spot. -

NCSoft was very gracious despite me being unable to provide some of the information they "required" in the email. They did some additional checking using information I DID have, and got me rollin' Hero-style again in short order. -

The green mitos have a mag hold of 50. You need a mag of 51 to be able to damage them.

If you're able to log into the game now, I wouldn't bother with any of these things. If you're still curious, you can always copy this e-mail and send it to support yourself and ask them if it's legit..or go to the knowledge base on ncsoft.com. -

From your past experience ( last 2 raids) what would you guys need the most for those raids?
I could always move my fire/ff hami bubbler troller if you like. We don't really use/need him on Champion anymore . He's all set up with the binds for helping the range team to follow

not really a crazy idea Cherry, this could be one of the few time where Group-fly would be useful. It would be the same as the old PA-Drop team.
Technically, you only need 6 tanks with group-fly to position everyone (the other 2 can just run in...
) , then the hami taunt team could drop in, followed by everyone else
