SHOES
1 pair of sneakers
1 pair of motorcycle boots

So when I make characters, I tend to go with more "conservative" outfits. Yes I still have the "sexy" and "skimpy" outfits from time to time, but that's only if it would fit with the character's personality. For me, having sexy after sexy coming out leaves me with the same things to keep using, and it gets old.
Doesn't mean I don't spend 2+ hours at a time messing around with costumes
That's the major difference between me in RL and the game.
See you've made a lot more sense than 8/10 posts in the other thread. Im all for conervative outfits for females ingame, i was just a tad confused as quite a lot of posts in the other thread seemed to be "more female parts" please and not this sensible way of thinking.
[Still caught me by suprise at this suddenly making an appearance though, did seem to catch fire rather quickly, thus making me think that some of these posts are trying to derail some serious discussions into a "joke"] -

Any word on when the rest of this will be released? Especially the trial that had the mini issue named after it?
Just that its been 3 weeks since any build/patch notes to the beta [well at least the one i can see anyway] so just wondering if we'll get it this side of christmas or not. -

I would love to see a more jokey theme sets once in a while, more than likely one of the few sets i'ld purchase in a heart beat [not a fan of sets with such a small expansion space for ideas].
Chuck in a set based on illusion or trickster and i'ld be there in an instant! Of course other costume sets i've been dying for are the street fighter/warrior, a hip set [think street cred/dj's/pimp] and a slayer set.
Edit: Just to add that [in my eyes] the problem i see with a costume part such as brain in the jar is that a LOT of costumes you see all have a common theme, there is not enough diversity from within that costume set. -

This is only really a problem if most people pick one AT and abandon another, and I don't believe that's the case with Brutes. Yes, they can be very strong, but they're also very stressful to play and actually not that good if you play them like I play them, which is to say slowly and with lots of pauses while I get distracted by my TV set. With a Scrapper, I can pick up where I left off even if I fell asleep at the keyboard (it's happened) for the last hour. First hit and BAM! I'm doing great damage. With a Brute... Yeah, they're strong once they get going, but getting them going and keeping them going is a chore, simply put.
With a scrapper i know that i dont need any buffs or constant fighting to be able to hold my own against the enemy, this allows me to play at my own pace. While yes i do have a brute also [dm/fire], i hardly ever play him because he doesnt seem anywhere near as fun as my scrapper characters.
I have seen my scrappers tank better than tanks, kill faster than a fire brute, keep agro away from the team better than both and this is what make scrappers so awesome in my eyes. -

The first ward arcs were really well written imo. Im all for ambushes if it does make sense and i think apart from instant, it all seemed to fit.
I've taken a regen brute and a dominator through there and didnt face any problems that seemed too much to handle, my next character through it will be flashbacking my stj/nrg scrapper through it. The only problems i had with it was that the xp the total arcs gave wasnt that high solo [20 - 24 iirc] and so some of the hunt missions became VERY tough indeed, plus the arcs only really seemed to use half the map which seemed a shame since the other half of the map seemed like it could have some awesome arcs in them. -

I'd say Primal Earth is pretty much pulling the strings at this point. And Prometheus. So the figure heads of the Resistance aren't really that key, they're more for PR than anything at this point, and even that's sort of iffy given almost all of their backgrounds.
I'ld say they are key personally, they have a far more active role in their world than their primal counterparts.
The fact that des survived an attack on the hamidon underground is more than likely enough to convince the people of the carnival that she has the combat skills needed.
A leader of an organistion doesnt need to have leadership skills or be one for the team to lead them, he/she simply needs to be somebody that the people will look up to. Look at statesman, one of the most selfish heroes in the game [nobody can have this power but me since i dont trust any of you!] and its a VERY rare time when he goes off to save another hero in trouble.
Personally i'ld rather follow Manticore than statesman since he's the only one who seems to constantly be putting his life on the line to save others. -
Sadly i can never be one of those players that use the paragon store for items i can gain freely at will [such as enhancements].
Only thing i used my points on was 5 charges of the windfall. -
First off i am a collector of many things already ingame with the range of temp powers all the way to the old base salvage [some of which im determined to get no matter what the price], so when i heard there was a CCG coming into the game i was quite excited to say the least.
Now as i understand it, some people arent happy with the fact that they are available purely as part of the new super booster packs. So here is my pre beta feedback of the CCG!
- Able to sell/buy on WentWorths. This should be a given imo, there is plenty of money inside the games community at the moment and any chance of creating an influence sink should be snatched at imo. Obviously some cards will sell for next to nothing while others for far too much but that will lead me onto my other suggestions.
- Continue having the cards as part of the super boosters but also have them as their own pack with a larger majority of cards within them.
- For the signature character cards, have them remain as part of the booster packs however they should also drop if you defeat that character. Some of the more commonly run TFs like ITF/Positrons will get their card value in WW down quite quickly, however it could also persuade more people to run the rarely run taskforces such as Shadow Shard to get a rularuu card since they will be rare on the market and more than likely sell for a lot.
- Have badges for collecting X amount of them.

So i decided to finally try out a tank character [never really been my thing] and i wanted a tank that was different to all the other tanks out there. These days you see far too many granite or shield tanks so i decided on an ice armour tank.
Decided to call him shiver me timber and so obviously was going to be an ice/db pirate character. Now i sometimes use the costume sets as a starting point for new characters costumes, thus i decided to go and look at the pirate costume set. It was the LEAST looking pirate costume i had ever seen and is one of the costume sets that is in desperate need of an overhaul.
So with that in mind the following costume sets are ones that do indeed need updating/a lot of improvement on them. If you can think of any more or think ones i mention are fine, please state why
