Igneous and hellions.
Why? Because at the low levels they can be VERY challenging! Ah to be young and think that rock wont attack me again -

I hope that's a mere indication of time spent in that zone and not your real age. Because if you're younger than me....

Wouldn't this encourage armies of fire/kin destruction to farm merits, then transfer them to less efficient but more interesting characters? (I realise there's a lot of irony that this might occur but I have no doubt whatsoever that it would)
[/ QUOTE ]
fire/kins are one the least usefull ATs to farm merits.
[/ QUOTE ]
I've been in 8 man fire/kin TFs. We've all split and run around the map and do the TFs incredily quickly. It could easily be farmed by them. It could also be open to abuse my doing say the Croatoa TF of multiple charactors once a day. This is why i added the "it should be limited" to it.
[/ QUOTE ]
An 8 man team farming say the ITF can probs after practice do it in about 30 - 40 minutes MAX. Now thats a team thats practiced it and took a while to do it for a total of 25 (or is it 27 now, cant remember) merits.
I can personally get 30/40 merits an hour solo, in a team that got "shown the way" also, im certain it could EASILY get trippled.
Though obviously there is a huge debate about what is the best way to get merits quicker, some people believe taskforces are the fastest way whereas others (myself included) look at the other options
Edit: Now not to say your method could indeed be faster, however the time it takes to set up + risk taken into account, i'ld honestly have to say tf farms are not the best option (my personal opinion).
Edit2: Also have to take into consideration DR on merit rewards via taskforces which gives the other options the victory! ^_^ -

How can a Peacebringer be a Villain? Does that mean it'll transform into a Warshade/Nictus? I understand Warshades being villains as they are essentially well behaved Nictus.

Mate have you even played the kheldian arcs yet?Theres naughty peacebringers in there

I don't dislike merits. I do dislike not being able to pool my resources to actually use the few I do have.

So a way in which to trade items over globally?
I dont know, personally i just think thats a bad idea. With the MA tickets, the only thing thats global is people ratings so cant be exploited. Merits are VERY exploitable using the right ATs.
[but yeah i see your point and i do KIND of agree because its easy enough to trade over anyway, just . . . . . something (and i dont know what) thats saying no to me] -
OR they are now going VERY cheap on the market! [compared to previous values

Sometimes team make up means that isn't possible, you need to switch, and now you have 24 merits on an empath thats never gonna use them.
[/ QUOTE ]
This is the number one reason I dislike merits.
However I believe that the last statement I saw on the matter from the Devs indicated that nothing is going to be changing on this front unfortunately. If I can, I'll find the link.
[/ QUOTE ]
This is why im constantly confused by people saying they dislike merits. Before merits you had to work through a taskforce to get that random drop. Now you can work through a taskforce and possibly get multiple random drops.
The end result is the same, you have to TRADE the recipe you want on another character over. The only difference being is that its now far easier/quicker to get the one you want. -

Ok take for example a level 50 IO, they cost roughly just under 500k to craft correct? And MOST bronze rolls only take 3/4 salvages to craft.
So at the MOST it costs no more than 600k to craft. If you look at the market at enhancements now, a lot of them still sells for at least 1 million. Thats a minimum of 400k profit, obviously if you just go build one/two then it could be seen as a waste of time.
If however you save up your tickets and get a recipe tray full of them . . . . then you could quite easily make a huge profit in a short amount of time without taking into account the "good" drops. -
Well today i thought i'ld do a little experiment. Did 5 bronze rolls at level 50 and was going to craft whichever i got and put up.
Each one sold for at least 100% profit [some for a LOT more profit!], think i found my new way in how to get money quick -
Umm actually i'll think you'll find that i am a mature person, i have to be in my job position. I only come across as immature/stupid ingame or on these forums because i dont have to "act" mature.
Think you missed the point of my post completely though, how was my post in any way different to the nonstop "we hate pvp" posts that the large majority of the pvpers make?
I look through these pvp forums a lot and im yet to see any serious threads on how to fix pvp with a mature and sensible argument for it. They are pratically all moan fests so how does anybody know how to fix it if all the people will do is moan?
Ok yes the pvp suggestions on how to fix it was ignored at i13 but what was the main suggestions? Add stuff to pvp zones/arena? That doesnt change the actual gameplay/values of the powers now does it? Want to be seen as actually caring for the pvp and not just moaning, then come up with serious ideas and be prepared to work around them.
Now i have a LOT of respect for some of the pvpers out there (like rent + massive muscle for example) as they seem to be the ones who are trying more to make pvp fun and showing the ropes to new pvpers (rent even gave me a good few tips a while back on a cold/psy defender) however there is just non stop moaning on these pvp forums!
Guarantee if you made a thread about how to fix pvp it'ld turn into a "lolz @ pvp suxorz" one. -
Bit of another update on the mender silos taskforce, glad to see that they fixed that annoying bug which sometimes completed one of the two "defeat raid leaders" as soon as you entered. Also that now a patrol isnt classed as raid leaders but actual bosses now [was VERY annoying zooming around looking for a patrol you missed].

Depends on the profit margin.
[/ QUOTE ]
How do you define profit margin though? Is it by the total amount of influence gained from it or the % in profit?
For example a level 35 healing IO costs next to nothing to craft yet sells for between 200 - 300k each. Thats a HELL OF A LOT of profit in % terms but not much in the total influence side. -

I'll give you 1 mill for every 3 months you stay! -
Think a decent first thread here would be to see how many people create their enhancements before selling rather than just the recipe?
It only hit me earlier than the large majority (of people i asked) were only selling recipes since the cost of crafting didnt seem worth it. Do you feel like this is true?
Personally i think all items after level 30 should be crafted and then sold since thats the level when the money starts flowing. Thoughts on this matter? -
But keep pvp open because omg some people still pvp
But wwaaaaa everybody thinks its the suxs right? But noooooooooooooo the hardcore pvpers dont like, us casual pvpers still think its cool! Though we did think the old pvp was cool too though.
This is worse than being in a nursery, waaaahhhh waaahhhhh they stole our fun!!!!! Can people stop moaning about pvp and just either dont pvp or HAVE FUN!!!!!!!!! People will NOT pvp if all they hear is "it sux, i hate it, i will moan about it". Want people to pvp again? MAKE IT FUN -

It's probably more a case of, "Your new office is next to mine, and comes equipped with twelve people who will follow you around and stare at you intently all day, everyday, because we don't feel particularly safe without at least four pairs of eyes that answer to us watching you at any given moment."

I reckon you ought to have to finish the arc before you can rate it - that would save a lot of grief, and might allow something to get into the Hall of Fame once in a while.

Defo not! Last few days i've just been running through MA bank missions and while some of them are good for what they are, a lot of them have next to no dialog/warning about the mission inside. If a fully spec'd out scrapper cant even beat a bank mission solo after multiple tries then theres something wrong.
Dont have me rob a bank quite easily then spawn an ambush of AVs!!!! I WONT like it and you will get rated down! -
Think i'll wait until somebody explains this to me.
