You can only get 50 people in the zone so once the broadcasts go out in global channels you better be quick to get there because it fills up fast. -

I love running this low lvl stuff again after so many years of letting my SG PL me.
We were doing so well during the trial, got all the stones on a second attempt and then some jerkwad ( Scataloni Gun :P ) tp'd the team to sam's location and got the entire team killed lol
If it was not for Yari and our brave little ice tank it would have taken much much longer :P

Short version, a socket is how one computer connects to another to make the internet work. His problem seems to have something to do with a necessary connection not being made, hence the socket error.

I did an all rad STF not long ago and it was one of the fastest STF's I ever did. lol -

Good stuff, I have been having a blast on these Monday night runs with parts of the game I have not played in years.

Maybe I could do a "Freedom Ae Story night". I know a few friends that couldn't make it to the event Sunday, and I got a few tells showing interest in any runs that might happen latter in the evening.

11.4, 11.5, 11.6 did not work for me, it actually got worse with the higher driver I went to. 11.3 did the trick I can now play and not freeze at all. I guess you just need to find the right driver for your PC.

After rolling back to the 11-3 version of the drivers, I froze-crashed tonight on a Kahn (first crash since uninstalling the 11-5 and installing the 11-3). The crash corresponded with the release of the first AV in the final fight.
I also crashed exiting a BAF, but that was a different kind of crash, so I'm not sure it's related.
Any insights or thoughts would be appreciated. -

Hello. I know there have been several posts on issues kind of like this, but my situation seems to be just a little different because I'm not using an ATI graphics card or getting any crash messages. So here's what is going on..
I'm playing on a HP laptop with windows vista 64 home standard and a Nvidia Geforce 9600M GT graphics card. I've been playing City of Heroes on this exact computer for the past two years. I never had a single problem until now. I took a small break about a month after Going Rogue came out. When I came back I updated so I could play and started up the game. All of a sudden my mouse cursor wasn't showing up!! I went ahead and made a new character without a mouse cursor, hoping it would pop up once the game started, but once I entered the game it was still missing. I finally found a post that explained how to fix this issue. It said 1. update your drivers and 2. right click on the game icon, go to options, and type -compatiblecursors 1 on the end of the target. So I went to the Nvidia website, find the newest drivers for my video card, updated, and then proceeded to step 2. When it was all said and done I loaded my game again and HOORAY I could see my mouse cursor!!! However, I went through the create character process again and once I get to the last screen where you name your character the game freezes completely. I have to ctrl+alt+del and force shut down. I tried starting up an existing character and that seems to work until I talk to a contact or a pop-up window opens (you know like one of those "<contact's name> wants to talk to you!" pop-ups). I never get an error message, I have to open my task manager every time to close the game, and every time the task manager says "not responding" by city of heroes. Like I said, I played about 4 months ago and the game worked perfectly fine, so what could be the problem now?
The game freezes and I bring up task manager and the game is not responding, this just started happening so it must have been something in the server maintenance they just did.
Its happening every 15 mins which is unacceptable.
