Missions: A Night in the Hollows, Part 2
Contacts: Talshak the Mystic and Karsis
Location: Meet in Ouroborus to start

Date & Time: Monday, July 18th @ 10:00PM Eastern/ 9:00PM Central/ 8:00PM Mountain/ 7:00PM Pacific.

Level Range: 25+ to get into Ouro (Powers will cap at 19 or 20) *** NOTE: You must be a Hero or Vigilante to join ***

Enemies: Trolls, Circle of Thorns, Minions of Igneous

Arc Stats & Info:
  • We will be running 2 teams. The Cavern Trial requires 8 people to complete. If any of the teams is short players by the time we get to the Trial, we can run the trial multiple times to help fill out the teams since it is very short (10-20ish minutes).
  • You must be at least level 25 to join.
  • We will wait to form teams until close to 10pm Eastern. This will allow us to get a better idea of what builds we have present. Anyone not at the contact, or that has not sent Luna a tell letting her know they are on their way might not be included.
  • We use the global chat channel Freedom TF Chat for these weekly events.
  • Merit Reward: 18+8=26
  • Badges: Transcendent

Thank you to everyone that was able to join us last night. We had 3 people who where unable to join, but with Tex's sign up, and a couple of friends who wondered by, we was able to run 2 full teams last night which was great!

My team was:

Luna de Lumiere: PB
Doc Sol: Emp/Rad Defender
Cold Satisfaction: Ice/Dark Corr
Angeliscar: Invuln/KM Tank
Baznon: Sword/Shield Brute
Arbiter Zeiss: Bane
Captain Novastar: PB
Kamikaze Phoenix: Fire/MM? Blaster

We finished the Heart of the Hollows arc at around an hour. Sorry I don't know the exact time, but I didn't notice the box when it popped up.

We finished the Cavern Trial at 22:26 with 7 deaths. It would have gone sooner, but we had no one who had both stealth and tp at the low levels. Oh well!

Next week will be Part 1 of Faultline. We will again be doing the arcs through Ouro. Look for the sign up sheet up later this week.

I thought Cold Satisfaction was on our team.???

We had good runs. Though I felt I was getting aggro and just standing there. We had so many particle effects going, and I have a tendency to face backward looking at the team to taunt things back. It doesn't help to squint at the screen, but I was doing it anyway.

I think I was half of the deaths. I got used to the team obliterating things and sometimes didn't realize over half had been tped to the target location. Or fire, as I'm an ice tank.

I love running this low lvl stuff again after so many years of letting my SG PL me.

We were doing so well during the trial, got all the stones on a second attempt and then some jerkwad ( Scataloni Gun :P ) tp'd the team to sam's location and got the entire team killed lol

If it was not for Yari and our brave little ice tank it would have taken much much longer :P

Nope, I think you are thinking of Marvel on C0ld Nature. I always have Mr E (Cold Satisfaction) on my team if I can, cause I need his wisdom. I'm still learning after 2.5 years after all

Yay, I'm a brave little ice tank.

I was actually being attacked by a kitten who wanted to sit on me/my function keys. I guess a cat popping some break frees on a tank isn't a big loss.

I'm still getting the hang of tanking, and when I get my second endurance recovery power I'll do a lot less standing around and just getting beaten on. That and slot some accuracy.
