Probably bringing my ice/dark tank, though I have scrappers/blasters and a defender I'm working on.

Hey Luna,

Id like to participate, but not sure what to bring yet. If you can save me a spot, I will figure it out today and get back to you.

You know, I know you said you all had a rough time of it there near the end, but on my notes I've got very similar times for past runs, and we weren't bumped up in difficulty =)

Thanks to all for coming and joining last night. I'm headed out for the day, so I'll post up more info later tonight. Thanks all!

We had a unique mix. I was the only melee with my tank, and I'm traditionally a blaster and I'm getting used to the responsibility to others and not just myself. The four blasters and two defenders dished the damage fast, to the point that it was kind of confusing at times.

We never had more than half the team die at once. And often, in what I'd consider the hardest parts, we ruled. It was when we didn't expect to pull three groups that we got hit hard. Rooms with multiple levels, mostly.

Aye, on many levels it was a blast. Also, you did an excellent job tanking... that *one* room layout caused 14 of our deaths, for the record (total, each time we ran into it summed up). You are adapting from a blaster to a tank much faster than I did, when I made that shift.

We didn't really have trouble, we just slowed down once I upped the difficulty rating! We were coasting so fast and furious so early on, I thought "hey, why not?"
...didn't think through and realize that would end up making us the slower of the three teams (we were two missions ahead at one point, and ended up two behind)!

Plus, no one tell Paragon or Angel that it took me an hour to remember I could player recall folks out of hot zones, and rez them in safe areas. :-/ (that cost us five of those deaths!) And, uh, I'll get a stealth build for us. This week. :-S

The tanking was fantastic -- I don't think Gamma-Knife face-planted at all (which was surprising). The blasters definitely toasted everything, even with the difficulty turned up. It really was just that one large room where somehow we split and went 90 degrees of each other, aggroing 3 large groups all at once and then we all tried to re-assemble...unsuccessfully criss-crossing and eventually taking some dirt naps...I was definitely one of those people that accidentally split off from the tank, with the DP blaster I think....sorry! ) ' :

Speedwise, we were on par with my Synapse run last week, which ran at about 2:20 and that was on average difficulty the entire time with a more "traditional" team.

I had a ball ( ' :

Thanks to everyone that joined us Monday night. It was a lot of fun as always. We was able to get 3 full teams running.

Thank you to Myr and Goldberg for running their teams. Thanks also for Goldberg's team sticking around and helping to take down all 3 Babbages. And as always, it was great to see MB back hanging out as we were setting up. I hope you are reading this my friend. I better see your butt in game some when CoF launches later this year!

My team was:

Luna de Lumiere: PB
Doc Sol: Emp/Rad Defender
Cold Satisfaction: Ice/Dark Corr
Double Tap Girl: DP/MM Blaster
Angeliscar: Invuln/KM Tank
King Sac: Energy/Energy Blaster
Sa-lt: Stone/Stone Tank
Pep-per: Dark/Dark Defender

We finished in 2:02:38 with 10 deaths. It seemed to me like there was more deaths than that, but whatever. We had horrible defeat all maps. Very bad random rolls on those guys! So we ended up stealthing the missions we could to make up for the amount of time we spent slogging through the defeat all's.

If I'm not mistaken, next week will be Sister Psyche. Then we get a week off for the fourth (Gotta watch fireworks with my niece... it's one of the highlights of the year). Then we'll be starting some flashback stories that people have requested.

Thanks for joining everyone, and see you next time!

OK - that gives me a few weeks to finish moving Cold Satisfaction fully to hero side. I started, but want to hold off until the last minute so I can take care of some stuff villain side.

Yep, you have until July 11th to get her converted.

Although I love the Galaxy City location for Flashback nights, I think we'll have to move to Ouro this round for flashbacks. I'm not sure Goldberg has a base with a flashback crystal in it, and I am playing on a toon in a secondary SG I run, and it is not fully functional yet. I figured since my Main SG the Infinite League is tricked out with everything functional I can shove in it, I might as well play this round in the SAW SG, and start earning prestige for it.

And if anyone needs a home, I can offer up the SAW group in exchange for prestige :smirk:. It's coalition-ed with the Infinite League, so it has access to a full set of tp's. Each week as I earn more prestige I'm adding more to the SAW group =)

I've got Ecru to where he has an oro portal, so I can also meet folks before the 11th and send them up there if they need it.

Maybe have one of us in GC to open the oro portal during the half-hour before the July 11th run?
