Quote:Sad thing is... it's not even that any longer.I would have to just say that picking EM/ you need to just accept the fact that you are a single target king and not an AoE monster like other sets.
Which is why so many of us want Castle to meet us in the middle with WH. -
Seeing as no one else has this problem I guess it's local. The metal spines, in game, appear as blank, white and without texture. I had the same issue on Test. I did the thing where it reverifies all your files and that didn't fix it either.
The odd thing is that they have textures and are colorable in the character creation screen/tailor.
Any idea how to fix this? -
Broadsword's AS is so stylish. Drool. And oh-em-gee... MA's new one is... is... <glee!>

Quote:Yeah, I think we're looking at a fourth quarter 2010 release date for TOR aren't we? Not sure about DCUO because the game has looked like complete *** thus far.SWTOR and DCUOL are not years away. I would expect them to be out next year at the latest. As for CO I think some may leave but will be back once they realize that all it is is WoW with super heros. As of today I can say that I was in the closed beta and I like very little about the game but that is just my opion

Jetpacks or any kind of way to make the travel powers look more "natural." And, yeah, I can sympathize with the tail thing, I really can. My best friend is a die-hard furry player (even the massive shock therapy couldn't fix it
) and always ******* about the lack of animated tails in CoH when he plays. So I know it's important to the concepts of some people...
It just seems like a niche within a niche to me, however. Here's a question: would something like this fall under the purview of BaBs or JLove? Maybe a tag team combination of both of them? -
Quote:I hate making two posts in a row, but...Yup, but the requirements still exist on the Hamidon zones and the PVP zones.
Will this include places like the Shadow Shard? Allowing some of us to get the nifty unlockable weapons early if we can put together a team? Because that, well, that would be just fantastic. RWZ as well... -
I love you guys. You have taken this game, which was showing its age, and with the next few issue realease and the expansion turned it into something that's going to be really fresh and really fun.
With all the new content and QoL fixes on the horizon I can't imagine ever leaving. -
I'm not saying they wouldn't be nice to have, but I swear if we see them before rocket packs I'm going to scream my rage to the heavens.

Quote:I hope TOR is good. I like star wars. But the numerous suggestions from the SWTOR forumbase worries me. Most of them are terrible. Tons of "make PVP unavoidable! No communication between sides! Make a cap on how many of each side can be on a server at a given time!" and such. Bioware adopts any of those ideas, would kill the game to me.
That's pretty normal, though, and most game developers are smart enough not to listen. Another example would be the WoD MMO forums where you had the population clamoring for perma-death and unavoidable PVP along with instant death if you should happen to log in during the sunlight, etc.
All very bad ideas that will never be listened to because they are game-breakingly bad. -
Probably not. It'd likely be a back option or something, like the wings. And I would hope it's fairly far down on the list of things on the backburner. The tails we have, while kinda silly, are good enough.

Quote:I was being ironic, yes.Plus, lesbians and gameplay exploits are available in abundance here.
It was stated in an interview way, way back around when BioWare announced that the Neverwinter Nights like multiplayer mode was being cut from the game. The reason was that either EA or Bioware were afraid that leaving it in would hurt the sales of their MMO.
DA has been in development for a very long time and was originally dubbed as the unofficial sequel to Neverwinter Nights by BioWare themselves.
I could touch on how ludicrous the hype for Dragon Age has been as well, if you'd like. Though I'd rather not totally derail this thread.
Regardless, I'm hardly sweating TOR. The game to watch, in my mind, for us roleplayers is: The Secret World. That and I guess World of Warcraft: The Cataclysm. Though, hey, on the upside, that one should reduce our furry numbers some. -
-
Maybe. But this is now EAoware. The same EAoware that screwed us out of the long awaited and anticipated Dragon Age multi-player because they felt it would hurt TOR's sales. I really expect nothing from them anymore except that every game will have lesbians and a ton of gameplay exploits. If that's what roleplayers look for in an MMO... have at it, by all means.

Heh, yeah, the pink inv toggles were awful.
Willpower is better out of the box and it's much easier to level than Inv is (I'm looking at you, level 28 Invincibility). With IOs and softcapped both are hard to beat, however. -
Brutes have a higher HP cap due to the fact they need to be able to handle more aggro than Scrappers for their class inherent to function.
Numbers from paragonwiki:
" Scrapper Base = 1338.6 Cap = 2409.5 "
" Brute Base = 1499.3 Cap = 3212.7 "

Many thanks to the dev team, as so many have said. The hard work is most definitely appreciated. The next year in CoH is going to be just an utterly fantastic one.

Quote:Except, you know, when it comes to gameplay. The only MMO this game or any other MMO has to worry about is SWTOR.
Bioware aims for perfection and they've never disappointed.
Unless you thought that combat in NWN, Jade Empire, and Mass Effect was innovative and involving.
Bioware writes really good stories, and I love all their games for that, but they really have trouble with the actual game element of the games they put out. -
Should be noted that MMs are getting HELLFIRE Whip. I assume it will do lethal/fire damage and not be a vanilla whip, which would be very lame.

Adding:
Cyberpulse - 14 - 26, most of it in one of the most fun RP teams ever. -
Are there any tricks to doing this? I have this problem on my fifty /ELA and my new shielder. It seems like no matter how fast I move, unless I take the alpha strike (which often kills both characters) I can never maintain any fury above 30-40% on teams and on the times I do fill it up (which are rare) by the time the lot of people move to the next spawn it's almost completely gone.

Great, thanks guys. Is this a workable build without IOs? Because I don't have any cash readily available Redside so he's going to be using SOs for a good while.
