  1. Watched all 5, I like what I see so far. Funny that the Anime got right in the first 5 minutes what X3 couldn't get right the whole movie.
  2. Bonus feature on the DVD also includes a preview of Carol Danvers's alter ego in Costume.
  3. The only thing they are doing wrong is not releasing the movie on Thursday.
  4. Liking what I'm seeing so far. As long as the whole show is about the battle for the soul of Lion-O, I'm there.

Agree with other posters who weren't expecting much, and am pleasantly surprised.

  6. Of more interesting note, was that Cheshire was voiced by Kelly Hu.

I don't think it looks bad. The effects looked respectable to good, and the trailer made it look pretty exciting. (though that never guarantees quality) I also liked the use of the blue and yellow outfits.

I've just checked out on the franchise. I can't bring myself to care about the comics whether they be good or bad. Which is vaguely upsetting seeing what a big X-Men fan I was.

    Fixed that for Me.

Well yeah but remember it took almost a 2 decade hiatus too.
  9. Best Exchange in the Episode:

Black Canary: "Did anyone see what he did wrong?"

Robin: "He hit on Teacher and got served?"

    Kid Flash: "Dude!"

  11. I subscribed to it for a year. I liked some of the #0 etc. issues. They were a great intro into some comics that you normally wouldn't have got or even looked at.

Biggest problem it had was it hyped DC Marvel and Image, but never really gave some of the better alternative publishers a look. Oh well Good Riddance I say, it was the main reason for the speculator market that crashed so very hard.
  12. Great Episode but could have gotten more into the odd ethical dilemma.

-Can you kill someone who technically wouldn't exist after sending Damocles back to the future?

    -Subplots added: Ultron.
    -Kang Storyline resolved.
-Subplots still unresolved: Kree / Skrull War (most likely candidate for Seaon 1 Finale)
-Status of Carol Danvers (Should be resolved with the war).
    - Black Widow, Hydra AIM and Cosmic Cube (with 7-8 episodes left this season, need at least 3 for War unless they cliffhanger it for the season finale) Might be able to work it in.
-Loki's machinations and the Masters of Evil. (Thinking they'll save the Asgard trip til next season)
  13. oh and as for titles:

    Books:

    A Wrinkle in Time - Madeleine L'Engle

The Phantom Tollbooth - Norton Juster

    Movies:

Buckaroo Banzai: Across the 5th Dimension!

    Animation:

    The Pirates of Dark Water
    Super Dimension Fortress Macross
    Revolutionary Girl Utena

  15. A couple of things... Plot grabbed almost straight from Robocop (Privatization of City Police Force and the the Corporation running it is corrupt). Throw in a little Fugitive (Accused / Framed for a Crime he didn't commit), a dash of Batman / Shadow (receiving training in various mental / physical disciplines to become a masked vigilante).

-Not too hateful a show, a bit cheesy at points......

Comment: "Chess has made a fatal mistake, even the lowliest of pawns can become the most powerful piece on the board"
  16. Loved the "Widow's Bite" Episode. Especially the scene of Hawkeye's shot to save Mockingbird.

-Let's see I think all I need now from this show is an awesome version of Tigra and I'll be good.

Well if they had done it 616 style they'd have to explain the whole Blue / Caucasian Kree racism stuff and that's considered taboo for what's considered a kids show.

Also, You can never go wrong with Jennifer Hale voicing Carol Danvers.
  18. "Dr. Corby was never here" -Motoko Kusanagi
  19. If you like Anime both Akira and Ghost in the Shell 2.0 are available on Blu-Ray.
  20. How I wish Frank Welker could have done Megatron in the movies.... He gets that perfect balance of psychotic yet calculating down pat for Megatron.
  21. Hmm if you haven't read it, the Kimagure Orange Road manga is really good.

Available on Manga Fox. About a family of Espers and high School Romance and is it 99 steps or 100?

When it's actually the other way around lol.
  23. Well my current computer is named Saber, from the Fate / Stay night Anime and VN.

My back up Computer the old P4 is named Mercury, from Tron 2.0, because it was the 1st game I played on it.

Yeah, I hope to meet a "Motoko Kusanagi" someday. It's just going to be whether it's her, or just a copy of her.
