I think TF channels are for TF discussion. If there's an extended discussion on a TF channel about power selection, I don't see a problem with a mod asking people to take it elsewhere.

Sometimes real life gets in the way of fun. <shrug>
Maybe the developers will create an automated Praetorian invasion event in the future. Then people can complain that it happens too often/too rarely, impairs their enjoyment of empty zones and creates too much lag. -
Quote:Like others who have already posted, I mostly listen to the chats. I'm usually playing the game at the same time.Bingo bango, although we've had some suggestions about possibly recording the audio portion and hosting it elsewhere. Not sure how compelling listening to audio of me bumbling along would be.
I would download and listen to an audio version if I couldn't catch it live. -
Have a major comic book writer create the story.
Give players access only to the game's signature characters.
Zero leveling. Zero customization.
Browser-based and free to play.
Oh wait. That game's already in the works. -
It was a fun way to pass the time while the servers were down. Kept me from getting grumpy on one of my days off work.
Zwill, hosting a ustream chat to ease community frustration over the server issue was a great call. Hope you continue to do streaming chats! -
Agreed. It's too big.
A number of people posted about this in the beta bug forum. Didn't seem to make a difference. -
Quote:The first hunt must be done in Brick, killing Crey in FF or Crey's Folly do not count for that first hunt... unless it's changed from last month. While I've done it several times this week I haven't tested that this week, but last month and before you HAD to kill the Crey in Bricks on the first hunt.
I tested it Wednesday. First hunt must be in Brickstown. I tried Founders' Falls and defeats there did not count. -
Thanks for the update. Know that we players really appreciate all your work on the program!

Quote:Apperently there's more people who'd want it. Unless you don't want a 50 at that rate, but then you really wouldn't need to ask.
Huh? I don't understand your response. I'm asking "what's the trick to going from 1-50 in six hours?" People keep saying it's not an exploit, so why won't someone post the answer?
Edit: I see others have now posted the answer. Thanks.
I don't think I'll be rushing to get in one of those MA teams, but at least now I know what the references were about. -

Six hours is an awfully long time. It does seem too soon for I20, but who knows?

I'm very happy with the changes we've seen over the past year. Going Rogue, issue 19 and issue 19.5 have been fantastic. Because of them, I've been playing the game with incredibly renewed interest.
A big thanks to the devs for creating a game that's so much fun. -
Quote:A lot of us DO like what we've experienced of the endgame so far. I have no trouble finding people to team with for weekly task forces or even shard runs. And so it begins. The influx of people who missed the part about "I wanted an endgame" and completely miss the point of yet another post expressing dissatisfaction with the direction the endgame is taking. Am I going to have to resort to obnoxious multicolored giant font for people to get it?
I WANT AN END GAME BUT I DON'T LIKE THE DIRECTION THE END GAME IS TAKING.
And CoV's Project: Destiny was also a bad storyline. It was a hamfisted attempt to explain why a Chaotic Evil cliche wanted your character around, and should not be imitated or held up as a good example of anything.
The only place I ever see complaints about incarnate content is on these forums. Everyone I see commenting in chat, global or otherwise, seems to be enjoying the new content. -
If you don't like the story, make up your own. Or simply don't take part in it.

Quote:Those are resistance pants. The pants, and the two-tone stripe are currently available in the game. Choose Lower Body-Tucked in-Pants-Resistance-Thin Stripes 2. Select gray for the stripe color and you will see a dark gray and white stripe on the pants.Pants are baggy, but the only strip pattern that matches is a solid color. That stripe on the pants is two-colored, which can't be done so it must be a new stripe, but I would guess that only one of those two parts of it are able to be colored.
I'm not sure about the gloves, but I have a feeling there's nothing new there. -
No delay for cosmetic changes. Put 'em in now. Add more options later.

Two new task forces. Two new trials. Sounds great!
I notice that a lot of the people who have said in the past that they hate the incarnate system, hate task forces and hate teaming are complaining about Issue 20. Sorry you don't like to play with others. You're really missing out on a lot of fun. -

I think it's great. People already ask for information all the time in broadcast, global channels. This will make it easier for them find those who are willing to help.

Quote:How about like this:I'm not sure CoH has enough stuff that would be "purchasable" to make F2P profitable. I'd really hate to see it go the "gating content" way that LotRO did, and LotRO has gear and potions and such that they can sell in ways that CoH cannot.
- Hami-O's: $2 each
- DoubleXP inspiration (lasts 24 hours): $5
- Hero epic AT: $5
- Villain epic AT: $5
- Hero to villain/villain to hero transfer: $2
- Field crafter pet: $2
- Extra costume slot: $2
- Wings costume pack: $5
- Resistance costume pack: $1
- Praetorian police costume pack: $1

Love this stuff.
I'd like to add backpacks, quivers and jetpacks activated by toggling on the fly power (plus jet belts, worn on the waist). -
Quote:The game Asheron's Call had cows that players could click on, causing the cows to tip over and "mooo". I still don't remember ever seeing or hearing of cows in CoH.This is one time when I sure wish I had a picture for proof. I know it's hard for people to believe, but they were fun to hit to get the 'MOO" out of. Perhaps most people don't remember them is because they were not in the game for long, and weren't the focus for most. They weren't only in Perez, but I recall seeing most sightings there...they weren't in herds, just 1 or 2 at a time. Not sure if Razoras is pulling our legs or not...the cows did not move. They were npc's you could hit or click on to get the "mooooo".
