    It's not a European thing, or something that is different from your side of the water to us like tomato tom-ay-to or the way that you spell colour, color and we spell it, "colour" the reference to Zone and Zonal is simply correct grammar.

    Zone refers to the area.

    Anyway, thank you for the advice on the build to answer couple of questions.

    1) I frankenslotted Snipe as I wanted intterupt reduction and to still keep high accuracy, i usually use snipe to finish a fleeing target and I don't to be rooted for 4-5 secs while I wait for it. Plus that would leave more time for the target to turn a corner and the snipe to fail.

    2) Frankenslotted TF as it's a main power.. all the sets from every other power effect it so I wanted the %'s to be high to make the most of that 1 power.

    Any more suggestions would be super btw

    Teleport Foe !

    Usually I used TpFoe on my devices blaster, geometry was one of the best ways to lay your trap and pounce, I loved the open boxes in Sirens Call and the small archways in Warbug.

    Mac is exactly right, people don't let go of the keys, there were many a time that my 20 odd mines didn't blow because i caught someone mid jump etc.

    It took some practice but after a while I was able to time my ports so that you either caught someone on the drop from a superjump or even trickier when they used a rooting power. Brutes that just activated RttC were my fav :P

    Anyway, problem now is that even well timed teleports result in players being able to jump or superspeed away before I can effect them. Mines are annoying now because they still activate! Phased characters shouldn't set off traps, surely!

    Thoughts or other ideas?

    Or just remove DR so that defense works again.

    My Illision / FF has massive Def in PvE, like 58% to Ranged + 53% S/L Etc etc but this changes to 18% in RV... It's like wtf was the point in that change!! Why is that good?!?!

    Could stalkers not get access to a different TP foe instead of the current one which could be fixed...

    Rename it for stalkers so their version includes the phase when used from hide??

    I agree with Not_Epsilon, The problem wasn't Tp Foe, it was the fact that using it didn't break hide.

    Every other power that effects your enemy breaks hide why was this different??

    Return TP Foe back to original and make sure that it breaks hide, problem solved.
  9. I'll be running my BM map, 4 accounts, 4 Fire trollers, usually they get 2.7 - 2.9 Million per run so I'll be looking at 20+ Million per run in dxp + drops.

    Gonna be busy.

    Only way thats it's effective now is to use the water features in RV, webnade and then TP, still have to tp them away from traps because they set them all off and waste it but if your lucky they will runinto the traps trying to escape your henchmen.

    Still it's a shame that it doesn't work.

    I am thinking about sending a /bug TPFoe everytime that i use it... maybe they will get fed up and remove the phase aspect.

    I would start a petition for people who want to see it fixed, but oh wait having an opinion about things like that is against forum rules, ofcourse it is!

    That would break rule number 1, Devs are, and shall always be infallible.

    Rule number 2, you are not allowed to gain support via petition to show your greivance in hope of proving devs wrong and seeking rectification.

    Rule 3 If you think rule number 2 is unfair, please see rule number 1.



    Anyone else frustrated yet?
  11. Yea I see what you mean... I don't solo at all so I'm in the wrong frame of mind for that part of the build but I hope the OP can take something from all the replies and make the most out of what they want for their own playstyle.

    I'm a /Traps Mastermind, not mobile, not able to chase my opponents...

    What is the point in TP foe now??
    Not only are targets uneffected they still set off all my traps while phased !

    Anyone else now think that TP foe is only for droners?

    1. Remove Suppression in the current form and change it to Tribhavok's suggestion.

    2. Remove DR.
    Hell Yes Please !

    3. Remove Heal Decay.

    7. Make improvements to underperforming sets and powers.
    Yes please ! *HINT *Forcefields* HINT*

    9. Improve Endurance Recovery.
    Not only in PvP please, 1st DR killed stamina, make it 100% more effective pls!!

    11. Turn off broadcast chat in PvP zones.
    Sorry 1st stupid idea, don't want bcast?? remove it from tab.

    12. Buff pet movement speed.
    Super idea !! Hurrah !

    14. Provide free enhancements to all Fight Club Police members.
    Don't get me started on these idiots...

    Yeah I see your point here... I would slot for recharge on that too but most of my build include LotG+Rech and Purple sets. Didn't want to make a pie in the sky build because of costs... but the OP asked for certain things, and I went for them instead.

    As a defender your job isn't to devestate an area... especially with Dark Blast, the best that you can offer a team is to defend them, AoE's -Acc and Soft mitigation is a super way to boost the def you give the team from Manu's and Steamy mist.

  16. I've looked at Assault Rifle a few times, but as soon as I get to Mids I loose all notion of it.
    Never got one passed lvl 18 and that was a flash in the pan during AE farms, notion was lost before 1/4 of the map was done and toon deleted faster than you can say "What Defender?"

    I've always wanted a double set toon... Why oh why can't I have a Traps/TrickArrow

    (P.s - I know the no dmg thing is the answer but I was thinking for teams only)

  18. Problem with Forcefield is that people see it as a primarily team playing toon... but its one of the easiest toons to get to the Defense Soft cap through IO's and become very very survivable, Mine could tank if it had taunt

    Why is the whole build made from lvl 35 IO's?

    Why is Maneuvers and Weave not slotted for full Def on a Def buld?

    Why is it slotted so that if you activate Snow Storm your Recovery is 2.89 but drain is 2.12 !!!

  20. I was thinking about making a Traps Fender soon, seems to be a nice set.

    Can't say I would want Oil slick from the TA set tho,, thats like saying yeah I'm a blaster but damn I want ELUDE. You know?? Can't see us getting to pick and choose the powers we want from any set....

    Only thing I would ask for would be that traps last longer... If you are a trapper you want to set them and be able to leave it until somone falls into the trap. If my trip mines explode before I finish setting up the area I'm not happy.

    Extend the life of traps once they have already been placed.

    This should give you super powers to use in a team and make you very survivable solo too... only thing lacking is a heal but it's easy enough to drop a travel power for aid self if you want that later.

    So here are the benefits of this build.

    3 Single target attack powers ~ LIFT, FORCEBOLT, PROPEL
    4 Team support powers ~ DEFLECTION SHIELD, INSULATION SHIELD, DISPERSION BUBBLE, MANEUVERS
    4 AoE Mitigation powers ~ CRUSHING FIELD, WORMHOLE, GRAVITY DISTORTION FIELD, DIMENSION SHIFT

    I believe that force fielders should have loads of personal defense without having to resort to personalforcefield.

    Therefor the IO's should give you the following defense...

    46% Smashing Damage (Softcap)
    46% Leathal Damage (Softcap)
    44% Energy Damage
    44% Negative Energy Damage
    26.2% Cold Damage
    26.2% Fire Damage
    21.2% Psionic Damage

    and as for positional,

    23% Melee
    59.3% Ranged (Softcap)
    28.3% Aoe

    Trust me I will be very very surprised if you don't have a great time with this build and you will feel very powerful inside your Forcefields.
