On my main (Mind/Psi Dominator), I charged into the room with Demonic and domination running, confused the second EB and all the Rikti, killed the second EB 3really easily while he was taking chunks out of Honoree (who wasted his heal, tee hee) then used stacks of 4 lucks at a time while wittling Honoree down. Took all of 4 minutes.

Not all of my alts would have been able to do that, but they'd still have won eventually. It's not that hard.


Funniest thing last night was the number of players who wanted to be an Incarnate but hadn't even unlocked the Midnight Club. Now *that's* lame.

Common boost? I had my Uncommon boost before going to bed last night.

- Started playing at 17:15 UK time
- Remiel arc first, then redside explore badges
- Blueside explore badges (except Terra Volta)
- Quick LGTF, ITF and STF. By the end of the ITF I created my common boost (roughly 10pm) By the end of the STF I had 11 shards
- Finished blueside explores and began Praetoria badges
- Apex TF and crafted uncommon boost (about midnight)
- Soloed the Protest and Syndicate Takedown. Grabbed all the Praetoria defeat badges
- Tin Mage TF
- Finished all the Praetoria "above ground" explores (4am)

Collapsed from exhaustion at around 5am, with 1138 badges

Worst part was the Shadow Shard and Sewer explores, blueside. I did those first because I knew they would be mind-numbingly tedious.

Tonight I'll be finishing the Praetoria badges then trying for the Master badges on the new TFs!

Meh my enthusiasm must have broken something. My launcher froze halfway through applying, so I had to restart it. Now it's "repairing" files after having downloaded the file manifest. I won't be on for about 20-30 minutes probably

I played the missions with a friend and we both enjoyed it. I was sad to see only 30 feedbacks though, I thought it would have earned tonnes more.

Maybe it needs promoting a bit more on the in-game MoTD.

My Dom flys in circles with no bubble, showing off that her regen is high enough to cancel the damage ticks. Either that or I sit in the middle of the reactor core.

I still need the last damage badge so it helps a little

As for the joke above. It wasn't so much a joke really. It was like someone mentioning day jobs, a second person jokingly quoting "I'm a Doctor not a Bricklayer!", then a third person launching into a crazed pedantic argument about how there's no badge for bricklayers. *Totally* went over their head...

Steal the "trophies" concept form certain other games, so that when certain mission arcs, TFs, SFs, Trials and events are completed successfully a SG gets some trophy to add to their base.

Make the player's relationship with game factions/groups dynamic. Instead of paper/scanner missions, different faction contacts offer repeatable missions with nice rewards, but working for one faction against another gradually increases your notoriety with the latter. So each player is hated and loved by different groups, affecting how those groups react to them and what missions are offered.

I get the level 6 travel power vet badge fairly soon, so will be respeccing on all alts after that arrives.

Otherwise I'd need to do everything twice.

At the moment, I'm more concerned with having to rethink a lot of my slotting on all alts to try and make the most out of the Alpha slot. A lot of peeps keep focusing on the non-ED aspect of the slot, but it opens up far more possibilities than that

e.g. you could take Cardiac and then drop a tonne of set IOs that give endurance reduction (usually as part of a dual Set IO) since the Cardiac will pick up the slack and more. That means the ability to slot more procs, or taking different IOs from within a given set, or rethinking which sets you've taken, etc.

Paid the workers still toiling on the launch sites for the Moonbase zone. At the very least, offered them voluntary redundancy so they could return to their families in peace.

Not launched Issue 7 with ridiculous AVs and an LRSF that only 6 teams could complete.

Not pulled the CoP and left it dead for years. It would have made more sense just to make the IoPs trivial cosmetic items but left the fun of the Trial in. There was a time around Issue 6/7 when a LOT of supergroups and players were working and playing with the CoP and IoPs as *THE* purpose of the entire game. Imagine if Issue 19 launched with the Incarnate system, then that system was pulled out of the game after 3 days and we were left with no real explanation or return for two years.

Added level 52 Hami-Os as legitimate items, awarded for completing an LRSF or STF within the "gold" time limit.

Woven a story into the game from the beginning, with quicker development or smaller and faster free issues.

Either not let BaB leave, or at least replace him with someone else who would be crazy enough to post on the forums randomly at 2am

Still wanting a successful MoBSF run, plus Sunday wil be well-timed for grabbing components on a second alt or for a second type of boost.

Dev teams doing everything short of stating categorically that an issue will be released on a certain day, then not releasing it on that day?

By my count, for any Primal Earth character there will be 206 new badges up for grabs when Issue 19 goes live (putting the very top badgers very close to 1,200)

I'm surprised there's only 5 badges for Apex but 6 for Tin Mage. Is that right?

Also, I think until Praetorians get their own Mender and morality flashbacks, we still won't be able to get:

- Avid Reader (may require some sort of Praetorian Mender story arc, like the ones to get the Hero/Villain tutorial badges?)
- Moral High Ground (would require Praetorian arc flashbacks)
- Loyalist (same)
- Resistance Member (same)
- Praetorian Tourist (surprised that this isn't awarded for Primal Earther visiting Praetoria, but then again it is a Ouroboros badge - still not sure how to get this).

To get the two new story arcs, will characters need to switch full Hero/Vill?

I have two 50s who still need 4 or 5 each.

I also have a level 17 alt (I know, shocking) who could get the 15-20 and then 20-25 pretty easily.

If I19 doesn't appear today I will be around this evening for doing some Mayhems. If I19 arrives then maybe do this next week after the mad badge rush.

So yeah. I am thinking a lot of people will be aiming for the Spirit Boost at first, for their Alpha slot.

Since the required items for that path are:

Spiritual (Common) - 33% Recharge

• Gr’ai Matter
• Ancient Nictus Fragment
• Essence of the Incarnate

Spiritual Radial (Uncommon) - 33% Recharge / 33% Healing

• Spiritual Boost
• Hero 1 DNA Sample
• Dimensional Keystone
• Incarnate Infused Nictus (Ancient Nictus Fragment + 8 Incarnate Shards)

This means the required work is:

• Cash in 150 Vanguard merits for the Gr'ai Matter
• Speed ITF
• Speed STF

Then peeps could run the new SF and TF. Before or after that, for the uncommon boost you'd need to do:

• Speed LGTF
• Speed Kahn TF (easier than Cuda)
• Collect 8+4=12 shards (since ITF will be locked for 20 hours after the first run), if haven't already.

Is anyone up for this? I have Wednesday off from work so am free from I19 launch to Thurs morning
