Sorry, was ambigious. You still need to go through a trainer manually assigning powers and slots, but don't need to gain the xp you can just burn through all 50 levels at once.

Bad analogy, because you are not asking them to come round and watch footy with a blind invite, you are just asking them to come round. And they are usually not a friend.

If you want me, who you don't know, to come round and watch footy, you are going to say, "hey, I'm a nice guy who likes the same team as you, wanna watch footy?" Not "come round!"

Although I do agree that if you don't have no blinds in your desc then you have no right to get [censored]. Personally I will either accept or decline a blind depending on my mood more than anything. I will always reply to a tell, even a broken one using /r, although on the odd occasion I have missed them due to being in the middle of something.

Level up. Unfortunatly it can be a time consuming process first time round. On a new toon, it's not too bad though.

I know and guess what I use that option often enough. However imagine yourself having used up that option. Only to have to wait 3 days before you can finish the mission with the stuck mob. OR even worse. You are in one of the last missions in a tf and there is that missing mob?

A game should be about fun. Not about being frustrated and this frustrates me. So yes I want a lets get this over with button.

But, if you flag yourself as lft on one char, then log out and log in another, you will be flagged as lft on that char too without having set it.

No, it defaults to Not looking for team. You have to manually set it to LFT every time. I think it even resets to not looking when you quit a team too.

I'm not a big fan of blind invites. I often accept them, depending on my mood and whether I want to team, but prefer a tell.

Something I am seeing more of is a tell immediatly followed by an invite. This bothers me a little more than blinds, as it strikes me as impatient, and my experience with teams that start like that is not good. I just like the chance to reply first, seems more polite. I liken it to knocking on someones door and then just walking in.

As a group we're playing a video game.

That man is dancing on the street to make a pop video, and as far as I can see attracting no abuse at all but the occasional bit of support.

Neither is remotely heroic.

Some of the game's players (not me, mind) may well be heroic in real life, though, as firefighters, paramedics, or similar.

TBH saying that a fat dancer is more heroic than any such people is pretty facile.
