"Dimension?" Wolfgang queried skeptically at Zeo's words, the idea taking a second to make the conversion of thought, "Oh. Got it. No. The SSR has neither means nor intent to destroy your home universe. Interesting you'd believe so, though. People do that often where you come from?"
It was indeed a question, but the cyborg didn't want for the answer, "Don't get me wrong, however. If it turns out you're lying, we are going to attack. If not though, and der Reichsmann really is no longer a threat to anyone...well, then I'd say you've nothing to worry about."
"What else?" the metal Caldok then inquired, his query again directed at both Isabel and Zeo, obviously wishing for more detail regarding the tanker's list. Logically, the easiest way to get the information he wanted form Wolfgang was just to tell the alien what he'd been told, for then the cyborg had a baseline to go from. Of course, simply pointing out that his earlier list of statements had been inquiries might've worked too, but would be more complicated... -

In your estimation, when will I be able to choose powers from any powerset in the game regardless of architype and without restriction as to the number I can dip into

5+ years in the past. This was the way CoH worked in alpha. It didn't mesh too well with an MMO community because players could both make unbeatable characters as well as completely gimp themselves into total frustration. This is why the AT system was introduced.
I am however very interested in how CO plans to overcome this. -
There are a great many things needed for ambushes, including fixing the bug with ambushes allied to the player.
For the moment though, it doesn't look like anything's in the works.

I really hope they at least let us edit the names and descriptions in some future patch. That would be incredibly useful.

Vanguard HVAS units are elite bosses - and while not 'giant', they're pretty hefty.

And some commotion nearby wasn't all the stranger heard. From above the thick leaves of the forest canopy sounded a noise that could've best been described as a sail catching wind; a tarp as it thrust a wave into air. A second noise, or rather a series of them, followed stante pede, reminiscent of jet engines, and yet so much quieter than any modern aircraft currently achieved.
A rustle in the woodwork followed, but it sounded rather distant, or at the very least further away than the commotion that had initially caught the stranger's attention. Still, it was decidedly audible, easily heard even from the site of the aforementioned tumult.
But if Zuzana hard it, she certainly didn't seem to care, her course still headed straight for the woods, thoughts circling more about the perceived absurdity behind her. It was just...sure, the Esertosian people consisted of no less than seven different species, most of which were genetically compatible...but the idea of a human was so...augh!
"So sing again." the Nadpráporèík stopped and huffed back, believing this to be a most obvious solution. As far as she knew, nothing was preventing the bard from doing so once the attackers woke up. This and the power the dual woman gave off convinced the Tsaiv decently that these people really didn't need help dealing with a few thugs.
Thus she set her mind back on her mission, and unless someone stopped her would no doubt be heading into this supposedly danger-fraught wooded vale... -
Oh, that will not do at all!
*pries up the rails* -
This would be useful, yes - and not just for deaf players.
-
Would be nice, yeah. Would be even nicer if one of them was a yellow set requiring no rare salvage.
-
Sounds good to me, haha. Man, I hope no one ever finds a portal to the world(s) of CoX. My character would kill me for this. Well...or at least maim me horribly.
Then again, probably all my characters would hate me for torturing them all the time, so why not?
-
Ladies only, huh? Snaps and dang. Though I do have a Rikti femme...but I'm not sure that'd do much for anyone since they used to run around without clothes on all the time before I10.
-
Lies and slander. I was one of the first people to play your remixed Posi TF. I was the guy who complained that you dropped the Vahz EB.
-
Hmm...I do have "Hunting the Dark Dragon" (2922), which may or may not qualify due to the monsters turning out to be not who you'd expect.
For a true-blue monster arc, I'd definetely recommend "Die Count Daddy Macula Die!" (10619). -
Nice!
Hey, I think this marks the first return of something that was removed from MA, doesn't it?
-
Mission Architect Tip: You can't do that...yet.
According to unconfirmed sources in beta, he's on his way. -
They may still wind up on the moon - just in TF form, not zone form.
-
Yeah, I've been here a while, but not nearly as long as the other regulars. Good luck to ya.

"I am for the moment." Wolfgang retorted calmly, folding his fingers upon one another on the table, "Vlasta is feeling...not himself right now, so until he says otherwise, I'm in charge."
"Which admittedly doesn't help me at all right now because you are being about as clear as swamp mud." the cyborg told Zeo, reciprocating his demanding animosity, "I have half a mind to start talking about serving spaghetti at my mother's restaurant - just to bother you. But I won't, since I don't think you really want to hear me talk about myself. So how about you tell me what you were lied to about so that I know what you're talking about before I answer?"
He raised a finger, adding to that, "Oh, and about the lying part? That's not a really good way to get someone to believe you, you know..." -
((Pst, Mirravin - she just threw back the hood. The cloak's still there.
))
"Case in point." Zuzana answered with a grumpy sigh, referring to the reason the wore the ragged cloak: because when she did, people around here tended to just think of her as some beggar, and thus ignore her.
"Oh, do excuse me." she also replied to the elfin bard, and rather sardonically at that, "I will be sure to differentiate to his human and your human-with-pointy-ears from here. With luck, it will be cause for war."
With that, the Nadpráporèík began heading for the forest again, her implication making her opinion of humans rather clear. In fact, a keen judge of her manner would've caught on that she was prejudiced against them. The reason remained a mystery, at least for now.
The thing that set itself onto her trail as she entered the woods, however, couldn't have cared less. Watching from the brush and woodwork, it had cast its tunnel vision upon the soldier and now followed her every move. Cautiously, carefully, as would any ambush predator.
Of course, it was not a predator. It was a machine - a machine with a cloaking field, rendering it invisible to the naked eye. Moreover, the Tsaiv wasn't the only thing it had in its sights, the machine duly observing the others as well... -
I'd prefer they just implement the 'choose this mission OR this mission' system a few contacts already have with this. In fact, it would be very nice to always have a choice between starting a story arc and playing a stand-alone mission.
-
Pretty much, yeah. Sometimes, you'll even get greens at the door for ramp-up missions.
