Yeah, Hover is MUCH better now. Fully slotted it's faster than normal runspeed I think.

I have two softcapped toons.
One is my Nrg/Nrg Blaster, whose second build is softcapped to ranged. My second is my DM/SD Scrapper, who is softcapped to all three positions.
If I get my Claws/SR Brute leveled up, he'll be my next toon to softcap. Other than that, no plans.
And no, softcap and hardcap don't make me giggle. -
I want a knife-fighting power set.
-
If you don't mind a last-minute addition I can bring my DM/SD Scrapper.

Posi recently tweeted that he was amazed at how much stuff marketing would let him talk about at HeroCon.
Anywho, my wish list.
1. Account-wide inf storage via Vault Storage
2. End-game content beyond TFs and the like.
3. Backpack costume parts
4. Innovative missions (branching dialog, multiple endings, etc.)
5. In spite of 2., seriously awesome TFs
6. Improvments to Portal Corp. -
I, too, have been having similar issues. I think the "Unable to check if name is available" bug and the blank popup bug are separate, though.

The article doesn't really articulate why CoH needs a remake, nor it seem to bash the game. It basically says the game is old and newer games are coming out. A valid concern, but the market is big enough for more than one superhero MMO.
With Going Rogue just around the corner I'm not sure a remake/sequel is warranted. -

Scrappers
Shield Defense - Shield Charge: Modified this power’s damage to have it correctly be multiplied by the scrapper damage modifier. The end result is a large increase in damage to this power. -
You have my sword.
Er, I mean my DM/SD.
Which is like a bajillion times better than a sword. -

Quote:Exactly. You exchange it for goods and services. Having a lot of it lets you buy more goods and services than if you have a little. If you buy something, you have less influence/infamy.I HATE when people say this, Influence/Infamy is currency. Why? Because you can't buy a fusion reactor by just being popular. You need money
If it were truly influence or infamy in the literal sense it wouldn't decrease unless you did something that would logically cause it to do so. For heroes this could be anything that would conceivably cause them to lose standing in the eyes of the citizens of the city. For villains this could be anything that would viewed as altruistic or even heroic.
But since that is not the case let's throw the 'it's not money' argument out. -
I got three purples on my Brute last night. Solo'd missions set +0/4x/Bosses/No AVs and ended the night by taking out Lord Recluse with a KO Blow to the noggin' and dinging 50 at the same time. Blew 300 merits on random rolls and logged in this morning 300 million infamy richer.
-
Then I probably shouldn't mention that I had three purple drops yesterday. And that was without farming.

Just my two cents:
There definitely needs to be some backstory behind this.
The concept of fighting the defenders of a banner in order to defeat the banner is sound, IF you know what to do. A blurb in the nav bar, something like 'Defeat the banner's defenders!' when the banners aren't vulnerable, switching to 'Destroy the banner!' when it is.
The timer is most likely too short for low-pop servers and will make things difficult towards the end of the event when people are trying to get last-minute badges.
The banner graphics looked pretty swank, but I seriously hope the mobs are placeholders.
Badge art should probably indicate which banner corresponds to which badge. -
On my SS/WP Brute I got Ironman well before level 50 without even trying.
By the way, what's your Brute's secondary? -
Silas, your ebil is an inspiration to us all.

I await further details with great anticipation.
