  1. Fiery Aura has no inherent defense, there's absolutely no reason to give it DDR. So you have trouble with Cimerorans. Eat inspirations.

One more statistic: Zero teamwipes. It's nice when everyone can revive themselves.

Also, I was fairly amazed to find that everyone who came tonight was a tri-form kheldian.

Anyway, here's the few screenshots I've got. I'll upload the rest to my blog.

    The lineups:

That's exactly how it works. It really is that simple.

I'd do it as a flat 75% resist all, that way it doesn't mess with your regen values or anything. Just remember that any other resistance your character have to be factored in multiplicative, not additive.
  6. Works for me.

    It won't be long, Tech.

I do look forward to a day I could play with you.
  7. I did this a few months ago. We had six warshades and two PBs. We all dwarf teleported onto Rommy/Requiem at the same time. It was glorious.

I'm ready to do it again in a heartbeat.

This. In fact, I'd prefer the black hole IO to reworking the respec system for an option that just removes IOs.

    Neither.

What I mean is that they do different things. The corruptor will have more ability to solo, but the defender will bring more force multiplication to a team.

I haven't actually done the math on it, but I'm sure you could use the survivability analysis link in my signature to figure out which version creates the optimal situation.
  12. It's a bit odd, because if I recall correctly, Fortune buffs stay active in forms.

It's very inconsistent. Hasten and other click buffs activated in human will carry over to forms. I can see no reason why Secondary Mutation shouldn't.

Emphasized is completely untrue. On SOs alone, you can get Eclipse to a reasonable uptime, and you have dwarf to compensate for the rest of the time you might need it. It becomes difficult to slot all of your powers for everything you want, but a SO'd warshade played right is still a sight to behold.

I detail this kind of stuff, particularly how to build a warshade on SOs, in my guide.

No it does not, this is what the last few posts were talking about. The damage enhancement in Detonator does not make it do more damage.

Yeah, it's kind of funny how it works. You can't look at the power as you throwing a fireball or even you setting off a bomb on the henchman's back.

When you activate Detonator, all it does is grant a power called "self destruct" to the henchman you activate it on. Since it is the henchman who casts the "self destruct," damage is figured out by using that henchman's enhancements.
  17. I definitely want to be a part of this, and I'm already in the global channel.

I'm not entirely decided which of my characters will be getting involved.

Runo, I'd have to ask which you think is more appropriate:

Dechs Kaison: Tech/mutation based rogue close to going hero. Card player, scotch drinker, robot builder, and owner of his small medical research company. Never really a "bad guy" but has always looked out for himself. By far my most developed character.

Soulburn Sands: Magic based hero who is protected by the sands of his home and wields the art of "soulfire" as his offense. He's a really passive character, doesn't say much, and only steps in if he is sure his actions are correct and necessary.

Defying the Curse: Human infused with nictus and possessed by a demon, all thanks to the Circle of Thorns. He's constantly fighting these powers for control of his own body, it's driving him insane, and he's one or two steps from falling off the "Hero" wagon. Definitely the most active character I have, but I worry he's close to "spotlight hog annoying."

    Incorrect, we get Detonator.

If a pet is going to die, might as well blow it up for some nasty AoE damage.

The real bonus to Detonator is that it doesn't require accuracy or damage slotting, as the power will be affected by the damage/accuracy slotting of the pet you activate it on. Slap one endurance reduction or one recharge reduction in it and call it a day, save your slots for other powers.
  20. I've got a claws/DA brute that's soloing Praetoria right now. He's just entered Neutropolis and he's yet to hit a snag.

I'd imagine any kind of mastermind should have no issue.

    No.

It grants a power to the enemy that casts a "doesn't stack from same caster" debuff of -20% resistance. Technically, the enemy is the caster.

The cool thing is that this makes it so bruising bypasses the purple patch.
  22. I'd really suggest trying a MFing Warshade if you haven't before. And read the guide for it in my signature.
