Yes personally I think a pvp zone without npcs or missions (unless you could in some way enter them to pvp inside) would be a great addition to the game.
Personally I don't mind being teleported into NPCs especially not if the other side is heavily outnumbered. But then following people around and teleporting the same person into big groups of NPCs over and over again just to cause harm and then bragging about it in the broadcast just to upset people would not be good sportsmanship in my eyes whether it's against the EULA or not.

i should think this is against the eula because it's harrassment, singling someone out to ruin thier experience, not because they're the only squishy or because it is neccesary for the numbers etc, but simply because they are who they are is most definately a form of harrassment.
this topic has been picked to death on many threads at many times, and the same viewpoints have been reiterated ad nauseum. as most union pvp-ers know siren has tp foe, she uses it to catch runaways almost exclusively, i use it to thin numbers during base camps by teledroning, not proud of it, i certainly don't see it as something to brag about but at times the situation demands it. bob and i once were holding off a small army on our own and had to resort to that just to get one real kill out of every 5 deaths of ours. which of course started /b flames. but aside from a small amount of inconveniance and agravation teledroning is harmless. telemobing is another thing altogether. it's effects can still be felt for quite a while after the incident(s) in the form of debt and is something i have never found to be necessary. -
yeah many buffs don't stack they just refresh themsleves, it's safe to assume this is the case in any ability that doesn't explcity state that it stacks, the only one i can think of which does is clear mind, it says something along the lines of "effects can be boosted with further aplications" though most buffs stack with themselves from different casters, speed boost etc.

Yeah corruptors kinda lack most things in pvp not debuff and damage but they not concentrated on one thing more like a defender. If u ever fiting darksiren u wont say corruptors are weak she perma fears u,debuffs u,tar patches u,then amplfiy and starts battering u and then once u out like most ppl u get tped back into the dreaded pit get debuffed attacked and darksiren has a habit of spamming the rez, Stuns all da squishies [img]/uk/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]

Anway corruptors are truly a force to be reckoned with when played properly, i feel the trap most fall into is trying to play them as blasters or defenders, if you try this you will be disapointed, they only really shine when you find the right balance between the two roles. -

it is all auto-hit, it doesn't even take accuracy enhancements. i use it as an attack mainly in pvp mainly when blasters are hitting defiance level health and the damage/recharge/acc debuff is handy even if the stun is resisted by BF's etc, mines slotted 3 recharge, somethimes think it could do with some stuns but i have fearsome stare for longer term control, each to their own

more than my fair share hehe, levelling a rad/rad i have great hopes for atm, don't think she'll be able to take on multiple opponents like siren can but we shall see -
take darkest night, slot it love it, i rarely use it in pve tbh only on bosses or large team spawns, but in pvp it's awesome, that and fearsome stare is waht allows me to solo 2/3 scrappers at a time and live, normally long enough to kill a non regen and tp away, and personally i wouldn't have tp without hover can be a pain with all the lag issues tp has

hehe np, bare in mind thats just an educated guess darksiren has a massive slef heal but in those situations she only seems to get minimal debt (when the player is actively trying to get her to stop boasting about how great she is of course
) so that is the only way that makes sense to me

if belive the percentage of damage done by a player is deducted from the percentage of damage done by an npc for debt calculations,
eg. you have 100 hp hero does 50 damage npc does 50 you get 50% of one deaths worth of debt, but if you heal to full health an instant before death then maybe thats 200 damage done total, hero does 100 npc does 100 you still get 50% death debt , i'm not 100% sure but thats how i think it works -

Done this with my brother and I in SC. Me, a fire/dev with tactics, him an elec/dev without tactics, so i can see the stalker he cant. Near the boat in the water at the villain base. DarkSiren Tps my bro onto the boat and tries to hold him, bro reacts just fast enough to SS backwards and land right next to me. 2 stalker i see rush him and take him out as Dark also got a few attacks off. Down goes my brothers char... but the stalker are not expecting me to have been beside him, and both go up in flames as the 8 or so plus trip mines ive been stacking explode

Yes, i have had this come across from stalkers that are in SC, when i put down some mines and then see if anyone is willing enough (and lacking in perception enough) to take a kill on a lone blaster. More often than not a stalker will land near by, so the scurry from point to point whilst getting closer thing, then rush in hitting BU for an AS. Its about now the mines go offUnless they have alot of luck on their side, eh Gutts

Don't know how I forgot this one as it provided me with some chuckles when I found it on my Corruptor. Above the Hero entrance to SC you can actually stand on the War Wall with stealth and not get droned.
In comes an unsuspecting squishy feeling safe in their supposed immortality zone. 2 Corruptors, 2 Build Up/Aims and 2 snipes later they're eating dirt having been shot in the back and the corruptors can step back without them having a clue what hit them, ready to get them on the way back out of the hospital

scrapper reactions to my dm/sr are quite fun, there was 4/5 regens in sc camping about in the water the other day so I ran around spamming touch of fear on them all and they all left

seriously though, always makes me chuckle when a regen says "i'd of beaten you easy if you didn't use your self heal" and also people who call me noob for "blinking" in a fight i mean using tp to bounce about the battle field -

have a look at the issue 7 relase notes, in most cases i think the first attack in a doms assault set has a 5% chance of dropping a toggle and the last power has a 64% chance -

I aggree with making a corruptor for a squishy in pvp they pwn my friend is sonic/dark the -res is nice and when u got 3 recharges in it (or 2 rechrge 1 fear) and a fear u got a 20.28 rechrge and 27.66 duration so you could perma fear and my m8 perma fears regens and during that time u could get 2 stalkers to BU+AS and by then hes dead before he can hit a heal he'll still be wondering when fear will end so he can kill the corr but by then hes dead. also a robot/traps is gr8 as you have -regen lasers and poison trap detoggles and is loads of -regen plus u have web grenade -fly -jump the person isnt going anywhere. Most scrappers are superjumpers so webnade is nice and those superspeeders will get caught in caltrops. So make a /trap or /poison mm for regens and other chars and also /dark is gr8 slotted for acc twilight grasp is good group heals and tar patch stops em all and debuffs toss in ur fear and hold ur gunna pwn. so a mm or corr is ur best way to go.

i don't quite perma fear it just seems that way i have it slotted 2 acc 2 fear, but it's enough, and darkest night is slotted one end redux and 3 -acc so when the fear does wear off i'm rarely in mortal peril hehe, unless i bite off more than i can chew *sigh* again.
i'm really dreading the day this catches on and i'm suddenly accused of being FotM hehe -

Yup. This goes out especially to people that say PvP doesn't work in this game. Solo, I'd agree. But team PvP is where it's at. Pretty much all the best moments I've had in this game have been when in a decent team PvP situation (S4 especially. Two organised teams going at it, such great fun.)
I urge everyone who's had a bad PvP experience to get a team together and head to Sirens one night. Trust me, you'll love it. Especially if there's a decent team on the other side.

My two cents. The above hero team didnt make PvP very enjoyable for the Villains did it? Solo its imbalanced - team its imbalanced. Empaths are the rox in PvP. Much to my amazement. Cm/Fort just turns the tables. Perhaps too far?
I respecced chap last night. Ill post his build later today. IN any case, from turning up, i was instantly invited to a 2man blaster team. We were facing up to 8 villains at once. Not. One. Hero. Death. The villains got totally wasted.
So of course, Chaplain becomes the target. Much to my amusement, Power Push keeps brutes and stalkers on their backsides and even when faced with 3 or 4 villains beating on me, with Cryo armour and healing aura, i didnt die either.
Arguably, Empaths make PvP unbalanced, if last nights anything to go by. I even think i could successfully duel with Chap in his current build. Beating Stalkers and Brutes last night, soloish really built my confidence.
Empaths could of course be nerfed. However, since we have no place in late game PvE, and in Solo PvP we are the sux, i think that would be extremely harsh. Its also not beyond a good PvPer to lock down an Empath. Its just that my Energy 2ndary provides a fairly unique tool that makes it quite hard for melee types. BU/Aim Snipe from a Blaster, or Aim Snipe from a Corrupter would give me issues.
(Air Superiority, on a Brute at Max altitude = Brute with near 1 HP when he hits the floor. Quick brawl - dead. Never laughed so hard)
Anyway. I enjoyed it so much, anyone on Union who wants SC Empath support should gimme a yell at @Chaplain. It was a LOT of fun.

LMAO i too was there last night (thursday), and there were plenty more heroes then just the three of you (i remember there being roughly even sides throughout much of the night) i can't say who was in your team but just as many heroes died as villains constantly.
As amusing as i'm sure you found it, we actually only started on you when you LEFT THE BASE for more than 5 seconds at a time, and when you did you were invis most of the time (a perfectly sound squishy tactic btw) and we had to start attacking the people we thought you were teamed with to get you to appear then i held you and watched you die nearly everytime allowing us to finish off the others without any rude empaths messing us up, this of course required teamwork on our part and was indeed much fun (back on topic hehe) -
