I don't know if there's a way to customize it - lemme reopen the demofile and look. I know that the "just standing there kinda casual, looking around with sword in hand" emote can be customized, but I'm pretty sure that one is default.

So I went in search of someone who did... I went looking for Statesman.
I found Marcus Cole.
There he was, sitting in a hospital cafeteria, eating Jello. Tired, depressed, in need of a shave. Looking for all the world like many of us have looked as we've sat and waited for word from a doctor about a loved one - part hope, part despair, and part quiet determination, no matter what that word might be. He was there at that hospital keeping watch over his wife, Monica - the heroine we all knew and loved as Maiden Justice.
I can only imagine how hard it must have been for him - to have fought some of the most terrible supervillains in history, to have survived attack after attack... only to be helpless against the struggle going on inside his wife's body for her very survival. He could have hidden from that truth, going out to fight crime. And yet... he fought the hardest struggle of all - to give Monica the support and love and strength to face her end with dignity, and the knowledge that she would be cherished and missed.
From him, I learned that being a hero isn't always about the great battles against insurmountable odds. The most noble acts of heroism can be found in our everyday lives, both superhero and civilian.
The courage to change one's ways from the wrong path to the right one... the strength of will to see the right thing done, regardless of personal cost... the willingness to help others, and to allow them to help us in turn... these acts better us as human beings.
These acts make us heroes.
Just like Marcus.
Rest in peace, my friend."

Not only is the I11 trailer probably hands down the best one I've ever seen for the game (no offence, Samuraiko, but that voice actor sells the thing big!), but it does a great job dumping a lot of exposition in a little time without contradicting itself, without contradicting established canon and without shutting any doors for potential future concepts. And the voice really makes it - that "yes I sound like a know-it-all because I AM a know-it-all, and you'd best not forget that" tone just does it.

My first incarnate was my grav/kin controller (the one w/o SB, IR, and ID, by the way). She had Alpha unlocked to Tier 2, I think, on her first BAF. She actually did pretty well vs the escapees when I planted her DIRECTLY in front of a door along with her Singularity, along with one scrapper and one blaster.
Sure, I couldn't keep the hardened commandos down, but throwing Fulcrum Shift on the mobs as they came out meant that the scrapper and blaster were crucifying anything that was left. Then I auto-keyed Power Boost and was spamming Energy Torrent when I wasn't spamming the mass immobilize and mass hold.
We had no escapees from my door. I was so proud.
Figure out your strengths - tactics will make themselves known to you.
