I've also included patrols of 'allies' and set them roaming around maps (the first mission of "Too Clever By Half" works that way), and there are LOTS of them, so the map is almost full of wanderers to navigate through.

That is the Deadly Apocalypse zone event.
Four banners appear, each guarded by a specific type of creature. The guards must be defeated to make the banners 'vulnerable', then the banners must be destroyed. Once all four banners are down, a GM appears in the zone (you can track it by a proximity detector that appears in the bar at the top of the screen where the banners were earlier), and when he goes down, you get an accolade and a temp power of your choice.
It requires a lot of players in the zone to successfully pull it off, and it is usually triggered by someone turning in Halloween costume salvage to unlock a fifth costume slot.

Okay, had to share this one.
Just went to see IRON MAN 2. (This is not a review.) And before the movie, they showed a trailer for the Iron Man game... with something like the tagline of "Two Heroes... something something something."
Okay, all well and good. But for the four COH players sitting in a row, we had the thought:
"Why just only two heroes? Or even a hero at all?"
And boom, we could just imagine an ad for COH: GOING ROGUE there.
Even if putting a trailer before a movie like TRON: Legacy or THOR or CAPTAIN AMERICA is beyond your budget, what about those Screen Advertisement things you see in theatres before the movie starts? Feed a seriously cool still for GR (or flash animation thing) and get it into circulation in theatres like Harkins or AMC or whatever as a limited run during the first two weeks or month of a film's release. That has to be cheaper than trying to distribute a full-on trailer before a movie, if that's too expensive.
But you've got a primed audience sitting there staring at the screen - why should Xbox and PS3 be the only ones putting up still ads on stuff like that?
Just a suggestion, BP. Run with it.

When I get tells like that, I usually tell them, "no", and when they get snarky about it, I keep asking, "Why?"
Eventually they get sick of me and leave, which was the intent.
But I also agree that vet status =/= game skill. For all I know, they're a gold farmer who's been around since beta.

War Witch is constantly updating the dialogue in the game. The other day while flying around behind the Faultline dam, I find a bunch of Sky Raiders engaged in target practice. That's nothing new. But their 'leader' shouting at them:
"That's not a barn, it's not broad, and you're not hitting it!"
That was.
Then there were the four or five Arachnos patrolling back on the hero side of the dam, who as I flew by, commented (or words to this effect):
"You know, we should find some hero and lure him off a cliff. Bonus if he's a super speeder."
