...Isn't that telephone booth located in an Alternate Universe... of an ALTERNATE UNIVERSE?!
That conversation probably just cost you like 45K. -
...you DO realise none of that is hitting live, right?
I can't even be bothered logging into the regular game for double exp weekend.
EDIT: And yes, I AM Bitter that my BR/NRG blaster wont become worth playing, making the 89 hour and 640 point expenditure a waste of time AND money. Can't even be bothered to spec him for trolling in PVP. -
Quote:There's a REASON I like Fringe - not just science, but MAD SCIENCE!!!Did you-? Naw, you couldn't have asked for logic from a JJ Abrams show! Surely you know better.
Also I live in Canada so Primeval was a forgone conclusion. Still not watching it at 10, since Castle > everything else. -
I dropped it once I realised it would conflict with Primeval: New World AND Castle. Didn't even watch eps 3 or 4.

Quote:...At least way back when you could have your flimsy idea approved by Einstein. Assuming he didn't, you know, steal your idea instead. The USPO is completely clueless and doesn't even know that prior patents cover what this does, let alone the Internet for the last 20 years.
The USPO sole duty is to rubber-stamp any flimsy idea for a fee. It doesn't bother to do any research at all into applications. Instead it trusts the applicant.
The USPO is a world-wide joke. -
Defying Gravity, Danger, Danger!, and Bridge To Nowhere. Also, all the badges in the chantry for their gigantic text dumps.

I sincerely doubt that many people will stay in character the whole time. I've seen people checking facebook status while RIDING A BIKE.
-
I personally didn't care for my StJ Brute until she hit 33 and could slot up Crushing Uppercut - the set just felt overcosted and underpowered in Single Target and AoE until I got the T9. Now it's just underpowered in AoE.
-
See, that's why I picked Founder's Falls - my blaster hears a robbery in progress? Go to my Balcony and Snipe them without even getting dressed. Gotta pick a high floor apartment near the west side - no matter what method they rob the bank, they're going to have to make a break for Talos... or Eden, but that's not a big problem.
-
Founders Falls/Cap Au Diable - south end.
-
...If they gave us the ability to have non-ED/GDN/Target\Aggro Caps I'd play a fire farm for 1/100th the normal reward.
-
If it didn't hit the live servers one could argue you both lost.
...along with everyone else who played the game. -
Quote:That's making the conservative estimate that the size difference would scale with the same ratios - Eyes dont grow with the same speed as muscle/main organs as you go up the list - the Blue Whale's brain is TINY, as a percentage of its size, compared to a dolphin - the Leviathan is CERTAINLY smarter than a blue whale, even if the whale is one of 5 animals capable of singing.Oh yeah, if one of the larger blue whale measured was ~90-100 feet long, with eyes the size of teacups (say, 5-6 inches wide? I dont drink tea)
then compared to that eye (which I'm guesstimating is what? another 90 feet?) then that means the Leviathan is somewhere around 30,000 feet long. which is somewhere around 5 and a half miles. It really depends on what you consider a "tectonic plate" but it will definitely take out all of sharkhead if it woke up.
*disclaimer. I am horrible at math so take everything math related I say with a grain of salt.
My money is that not only would sharkhead be obliterated (unless it woke up and rose VERY slowly) everything nearby (Grandville/Cap+PO/Mercy) would be torn up as well, and tidal waves would demolish everything else. -
Quote:...There have been a couple. They weren't very good. I don't think Straczynski can do the series right anymore - he was more of a big picture kind of guy.Still wouldn't mind JMS getting a Babylon 4 prequel series or movies produced. There are many stories to be told of that era.
That's two we've lost so far. -
Uh... actually based on the size ratio of a Blue Whale I'd peg it as the entire tectonic plate the Rogue Isles was based on top of - if it woke up it take out a LOT more than Sharkhead Isle.
-
-
Nah its more like that island town built on the back of a giant sea tortoise - I *Think* I can approximate it given the size of the Eye. My best estimate would based on the size of the eye of a blue whale compared to it's full grown measurements. Never cared enough do the guesswork, and I was too depressed to ask in the AMA.

Note that to run Tesseract's Arc you'll need to go full villain.
-
My dad spent about half the time pointing out inaccuracies. Which is 50% less time than I was expecting.
Wonder how many episodes till the captain loses it. -
I especially like how he arbitrarily declares non-standard builds/ATs as leeches then goes and says the invention system is bad. Does he want a conformist steamroll or not?
-
If you played redside Arachnos had TONNES of -fly, as did many groups - like the fire immobilize spam from the Fire thorn casters.

Quote:...I have MANY memories of the Helper NPCs in Mayhem missions stopping at a garbage can 10 feet away waiting for their 32s recharge AoE Attack to come back. But the real kicker was how combattant AIs almost never exhibited these flaws in any meaningful ways. It was extraordinarily rare for, say, aggro'd foes to randomly fall off a ledge or cliff without being pushed. They far more rarely got stuck on ramps or stairs. If Warburg hostages had acted even half as competently as most combatant critters, I would have been much, much less frustrated by them
-
...My stalker got the first hostage all the way to the bunker before I lost him because he fell - after that, got the next 5 with no difficulty - even with hide on. If you have stealth and turn off ALL movement powers (even sprint) they have no problem following... unfortunately, this means Super Speed/stealth proc is needed for most, making it problematic.

If there's combustion - YUNOSTEAMPUNK?!
Also having a magguffin in the pilot MIGHT be a new record.
