Was kinda surprised no one posed about this, but Michael O'Hare, B5's Commander Sinclair, passed away Friday, September 28.

Goodbye, I guess.

Bummer!

The development team and this community deserved better than this from NC Soft. Best wishes on your search.

Dang, that's young.

Met him once at a multi-fandom con. Unlike the other TV guests he was the kind of person that didn't have a problem hanging with the fans instead of being sequestered in a green room or have be neck deep in security.

True story from that con. Now I wanted to get a good seat for the B5 panel with JMS and Harlen Ellison (this was B5's first year, not even half the season was over yet) so I got there earlier, got a really good seat, enjoyed the sneak showing of Signs and Portents and was enjoying the question and answer session that followed when JMS wanted to thank Michael O'Hare and pointed at me. Well not at me, the person sitting behind me, with all the other fans, with no staff security. Maybe it was because he was more of a stage performer that he didn't mind rubbing elbows with the masses.

I just remembered that George Takei was limoed in and out at the same con with no access outside of his scheduled appearances and surrounded by muscle (which is more understandable today than then ... oh my).

"In Valen's name..........."

I was glad they got him back in for that two parter in Season 3 that resolved Sinclair's story and Babylon 4.

Still wouldn't mind JMS getting a Babylon 4 prequel series or movies produced. There are many stories to be told of that era.

...There have been a couple. They weren't very good. I don't think Straczynski can do the series right anymore - he was more of a big picture kind of guy.

That's two we've lost so far.

Yes but those two were of the Babylon 5 era, I'm talking about Babylon 4 and Valen's war with the shadows.

Dr. Franklin
G'kar
Zack Allen
Zathras

Anyone I missed?
