Problem?

It's actually pretty easy to defend the devs against arguments containing incorrect propositions.

1. The devs initially stated that the Alpha Slot would be part of Going Rogue. This was pre-release. Devs are acting on the only knowledge they possess at the time.
2. Beta Testing determined that it would be better to delay the Alpha Slot in order to have more time to fully develop actual content for it (Apex and Tin Mage) instead of just having us run the existing TFs with our new shiny. At this point (still pre-release) the Alpha Slot was no longer part of Going Rogue. Devs modify their statements based on what they learned.
3. Going Rogue releases, we have no Alpha Slot, which we were told we would not get prior to release. Devs are right.

You're talking 900 years of memories, I'd be very surprised if a human brain could consciously recall most of it, especially that long after the initial transfer. Hell, after that long I'm sure even the Doctor forgets stuff.

NCSoft had nothing to do with that other game. That other company split off from NCSoft a loooooong time ago. Paragon Studios develops CoH now. But even if what you said were true, just because you can implement something in a brand new game doesn't mean you can just cram it into an existing game and expect it to work.

All of that said, should the devs every manage to implement power customization/alternate animations for power pools (and thus travel powers), the number one thing I'd like to see is the current flypose emotes rolled into that, and that would also be a good excuse to create an alternate animation for SJ like what you're describing.

Pre-EDIT: Oh wait, I thought you were describing something similar to how the Hulk starts his leaps, but this video from that other game looks pretty much like our SJ except for the landing.

For the record, I have been pretty intensely critical of the game lately and have lost a lot of faith in the devs in the past couple years. But yeah I'm just a fanboy.
