What Brillig said. I would also point out that the expectation that a level 32 will somehow contribute to a team the same way as the level 50 they're sidekicked to is kind of insane. Would a level 14 contribute much to a level 32 team?

Basically huge swords/clubs. We know the set will work on a "Momentum" mechanic where attacks animate faster the more you attack. I believe we also know the names of most of the powers but someone else will have to link the screenshots. We also know that one of the weapon customization options will be a railroad crossing sign.

There's a world of difference between a Speed Run and stealthing a mission or two. Regardless, if the latter is your intent, you should announce at the offset "we'll be stealthing missions where we can/where it makes sense".* If anyone is concerned about XP, point out that a faster run might result in a faster rate of XP gain, even if the total amount gained is less.
In the case of something like Sister Psyche, it's definitely worth mentioning that it's done to shave time off what would normally be a long TF. The approach "this is how vets do it, get with the program and lrn2play n00b" is definitely not the right one to take, especially since it's not a universal truth.
*Speed Runs, of course, should always be announced well in advance. -

Jay has been in the uStreams so unless something has changed in the past few weeks, yes he still works for Paragon Studios. Can't be bothered to find it but I'm pretty sure there's still a "request costume pieces" thread somewhere.
You've been away? I've been seeing you post all over this forum, when did you leave? -
Yes it's known, yes it's happening to everyone, even the devs may not know why it's happening, only the devs can fix it.

Yes actually, Warburg is like that.

I thought zone PvP was dead anyway.
The Arena pretty much serves this purpose. If you want mixed teams, go there. If you want to zone PvP (lol), go to a zone. -

It's not an RP or storyline issue, the devs don't want you to be able to change alignment at the drop of a hat. It's a matter of how they want the game mechanics to work.
It's also really not that tedious unless you just want to be able to switch alignments back and forth willy-nilly, which I think is pretty ridiculous. -
That room is infamous for causing problems, I'm not sure changing anything on your system would help.

Quote:Completely off-topic, but you have the best avatar.Yeah, the Incarnate stuff is pretty bad ("Congratulations on achieving Incarnate status! You now will die at least 10 times more often! Don't you feel powerful!") I just ignore the iTrials. I generally ignore zone events, too. There's enough stuff in the game that I can just skip what I don't like.
EDIT: I can't believe I put "off-topic" there, like this thread was ever on-topic. -
Quote:There's nothing stopping you from doing it, but if someone recognizes the character and decides to report you, that character will be genericed. This is not because of the lawsuit, but because of the policy that resulted from the lawsuit, which covers all trademarked characters. So you should play such a character with that understanding.Guys I think you're misunderstanding me here. I said heroes and villains, not superheroes and super villains. I didn't mean comic book folks specifically. I meant anything. I figured everyone at some point wanted to try to make someone that already existed. Just for fun at least.
An obscure character from Bomberman 64 would probably not be recognized (especially given the stylistic differences between that game and this one) as long as the character's bio didn't reference (or even hint at) that character's backstory, but you never know. -
Haven't seen anyone else mention this, but Goo Shivans (in other words, the original ones introduced in I6) have gotten a minor update: they explode in a fashion similar to the new Rock Shivans from the tutorial when defeated (the explosion is more gooey, of course), and they also vocalize a bit (pretty sure they didn't do this before).
Nice touch, devs. -
Quote:Wrong, wrong and wrong. The name does NOT count.
Names like Deadpool, Batman, or Superman would count, because they are names that are formed by combining words not normally found together.
Quote:The DEVS can use names that trademarked characters share because they are in complete control of the use of that name, and can avoid any trademark violations. They don't allow US to use them because they can't control how we use the name, and trademark violations are sure to arise if we were allowed t use them. -
