I figured since a jillion is undefined I could put it in either order and it would work.

I have, but it still takes up an unacceptable amount of room (sorry, some of us aren't playing on a billion x a jillion resolution screens).
  3. Agreed, I keep trying to click it closed before the CCE finishes, which usually results in the costume not even being changed because I haven't clicked the costume slot properly.

Maybe instead of making the window double-sized it should be the same size it was before, but instead it scrolls horizontally.

  5. Anything else I might contribute to this thread will just get modded so I think I'm gonna go over there-->.
  6. New T9 VIP Rewards means Celestial Armor will be going away soonish...?
  7. Monsters are generally somewhat weaker (for small values of "weak") than Giant Monsters, so presumably anything that can defeat a Giant Monster can also defeat a Monster. I would guess not much else could though, maybe if you can solo AVs but not GMs then you might have a shot.
  8. He's with a named boss and has dialogue, once you know that he's really not that hard to find.

I do hate the way Tip Missions spawn objectives though, "Destroy the bomb triggers" is far from the only one that requires backtracking.
  9. It's Quaterfield.

Best bet is to leave one person sitting at the contact, everyone has Fly and other teleport options (Base TP, Ouro, Mission TP, Pocket D VIP, Assemble the Team or other team teleport powers), a couple people with Recall Friend to fill any gaps.

It's pretty trivial at this point, pretty much any mix should do.
  10. That's because the threats "level" with you. So at level 1, yeah you're just fighting Hellions and Skulls, but by level 50+ you're fighting insane demigods and archvillains who are drawing upon the same power source as you, only they're better at focusing it.

You see this in comic books too. You might have Spider-Man and Captain America team up to fight a group like HYDRA, but when Thanos has gotten his hand on the Infinity Gauntlet (again), you've got every hero in the Marvel Universe in the fight. Even the Silver Surfer with his Power Cosmic can't handle that alone (hell, even Galactus fell to the power of the Gauntlet).

Go back and fight the Council with your Incarnate powers. You are more powerful, you're just not the most powerful.

    I miss the 70's and 80's.
Uhh, The Man Show was only on like 10 years ago, so...?
  12. Vintage? It only happened 9 years ago.
  13. I can't have been the only one to notice the (I'm assuming unintentional) hilarious typo in the thread title where you capitalized the L in "Playable" to make "PL".

Cap and Wasp's powers didn't occur naturally though, and Iron Man isn't even superhuman. There's no reason to fear the source of a non-mutant superhuman's powers unless you subscribe to the Celestial Seed theory (and even then, that effect is limited).

    Rewards Cooldown

Other team members can still speak to the contact, they just get told that the team leader needs to be the one to start it. But I'm saying that the reward text would display for everyone.
  16. I have a couple I made early on in my game time because I didn't have any ideas for characters and thought it would be neat to see them realized in a video game. These days I usually start with a name and powerset combo I like first and work forward to costume and concept.

    Rewards Cooldown

Given how many Task Forces there are, such a command would likely yield a little too much output (not quite as bad as /cmdlist, but still).

Better idea: add this to the contact's dialogue when you speak to them. Example:

    Lord Recluse:
"Go beat up the Freedom Phalanx blah blah blah. You will need 8 members level 45 and up. You are currently eligible for full rewards."

The whole reward spiel would have to be separate from the contact's regular dialogue so that every member of the team can see it before starting. The I-Trials could be offloaded onto Prometheus, I suppose, and A-Merits could be with BOTLER/Trash Can.

Or hell, just give it all to Null the Gull.

Yep, although supposedly there's other hidden areas in the RWZ, at least according to a dev comment a while back (they may have just been referring to that though).
  19. There's also one in the Rikti War Zone.

Except...that's not what the rename token is for. As previous posters have said, you get a free rename in this case.

  22. Define "known". It's trusted, if that's what you mean, but it's not open source. Some of the more "grumpy" members of the community refuse to install any Titan Network programs because of this. *shrug*
