Or, with the game's original bindings, press '\' and 'j'.

Don't think so. They look like re-colored SoA arm blades.

Conceptually a good idea but I would hate this since insects skeeve me out. I literally can't even read the description of the set.

At this point I'm at 18(ish?) toons on my home server of Pinnacle, with some other toons in various states of pre-20 leveling on other servers.
As far as waking up sleepy toons goes, GR has revived my Rad/Rad Corr, whom I've always envisioned as a bit more of a Rogue anyway (a thief to be sure, but not strictly evil). I finally got her to level 20 and Stamina (delicious Stamina) after sitting at 19 for a while, and right now she's at something like 23 or 24. I think I probably need to respec her for at least the second time, but she should continue to see progress now that I understand Corruptors a bit better after leveling a Fire/Kin into the 30s. I'd like to return to some of my other neglected toons, but with so much new badging to get done alongside real-life events, I haven't really had a lot of time. -
I was really hoping for "Fun On Television with Conan O'Brien", but I suppose that was probably a longshot.

I don't even know how to approach this comment mentally, never mind what I might say in response to it. -
This is what immediately comes to mind for robotic tails:
More metallic than robotic really, but I could see using it. -
I must be the only person who had little trouble against Protean on a melee toon who didn't even bother to avoid the Siphon. Just popped some insps and kept on a'poundin'. He was a ridiculous joke on my Blaster and Mastermind, took him down like a pathetic Hellion only with more HP.
So I agree with the OP. That fight was extremely unfair -- for him. -
Quote:I would feel extremely uncomfortable leveling with my secondary build as my main build. At level 10 you get access to a second build and so there's no need to /respec unless you've made the build and then immediately killed it...
I am fully aware that this makes no sense. -
Man, I really was not expecting to see two pages of this thread when I came back.

Yes, you just can't start with them in Praetoria.
-
Two brand new powersets (four if you didn't preorder) means you don't necessarily know what powers are going to work best. I ended up burning a respec by level 10 on my Electric Control Dominator (not that it helped, but that's another story). Of course, I think I just ended up using /respec to use it.

I can't speak for point 2 but I did notice a DE boss had spawned when my difficulty was set to no bosses.

Quote:Are you unfamiliar with merits? You get drops, but exemplared down they are going to be nearly worthless and the inf you get from kills and missions is negligible. Most importantly, you have no chance for purple drops.
I get the technical limitations, but I do think it's unfortunate, because that makes a lot of content that I just plain have no use for once I hit 50 - the time to reward ratio goes completely out of whack.
Plus I spent all that time leveling and kitting out the character because I wanted to use all those powers.
Also, some people actually play for fun but vOv. ymmv etc -
Why bother? You still earn XP and inf and get drops when you're exemped. And yeah, most low-level mobs simply don't scale up to 50.

Reminds me of a Futurama quote:
Donbot: Now, since we're committing crimes that may be against the law, I suggest you have an alibi. -
I think the main problem is that people are thinking back to when the details of this were first announced, and the devs were talking about there being "special benefits to staying true". People assumed that this meant you could NEVER cross over if you wanted these benefits, which for all we know (read this again, I am speculating) may have been the case until internal testing determined that it was a stupid idea.

Per the Issue 18/Going Rogue patch notes:
Quote:So yeah, that sounds bugged to me.Upon reaching Level 20, defeated enemies that are Level 20 or higher will now have the chance to "drop" a Contact Tip. -
You can have two separate builds on a character. Visit a trainer to find out more. When you switch to your second build for the first time, you will need to level it up to your current level, selecting powers and placing slots as you normally would. Your primary and secondary don't change, just the powers you choose from them.

The OP (don't call it that) reminds me of this quote from Arrested Development:
Quote:Lucille: Look at what Buster sent from the Army.
Michael: Its blacked out.
Oscar: Oh, the government. Keep... Yeah, keep reading.
Michael: Sergeant Blank is treating me very blank, and it looks like Ill be shipping off to blank in about a blank. I blank you, Mother. Buster. -
It's the same thing as what Sharker said.

Why would anyone still be complaining about this? We've had cross-faction content since Issue 10 with the Rikti War Zone revamp.
People are dumb.
