Dark Energon

There are several items on the Female Widow that need to be ported over to the male Widow.
Since i don't really know much about Widow outfits, feel free to add this.

I only added my suggestions, a few long standing ideas and some complaints i remembered.

This is not just for me, this is for all of us who love the VEATs!

'Facialbook' is going public, and is estimated to maybe hit the $5 BILL mark.
Pretty impressive for a free social network.
The way they make their $ is by advertisement. The games they have on their site have deals with advertisement companies and survey companies and most of these are trusted and respected companies.

As i mentioned before:
Make a new section in the forums dedicated to 'Earn Paragon Points' surveys.
Have a new thread for each company that hands out one or multiple surveys.
Have the thread start with the company's name and a link to their survey site. This means there is absolutely no intrusion from them to our game, our site or even to us personally.
Have people reply what they experienced from taking the survey, this to either warn people it could be a sham or make people feel at ease that is is a trusted survey, and also for Paragon Studios to see if they should take down the link or continue with the company. No feedback from the community is what causes the most issues on other sites like 'Facialbook' and 'YourSpace', and allows sham sites to operate on these social network sites.
Trusted survey companies, or even companies willing to offer a free trial for Paragon Points are easy to be found, i am sure that even one single person working for Paragon Studios can come up with new entries each week or every two weeks.

This is how a survey for PP is set up.
Contact is made between two companies, Paragon Studios and say 'Netphlix'. PS will get the offer from 'Netphlix' to buy say, 10mill Paragon Points and hopes to get players to use a free month trail, see if they can become customers. They'll offer 1kPP for everyone willing to sign up for a free trail. this info, and a link to their site will be posted on the dedicated forum section by PS. As soon as you completed the sign up, they'll send a notice to PS to deposit 1k PP from the 10mill PP they bought, on your account.

Same goes for companies who have been contracted to hold surveys.

Final thought:
*Would mean Paragon Studios would receive a new source of advertisement income.
*No intrusion of them into our game, our site or even personal.
*Sham companies will be gone fast, while the good companies will stay.
*Forum section can be ignored by people, meaning the ones who don't want to participate have no fear of being hacked or spammed.

I love my VEAT, people on my server know it.
I have been playing him for over a year, and he is by far the best and expensive toon i have. I also know i'm not alone in my love for the VEAT AT.

I see people on different AT's that can fully customize everything regarding their toon, and i understand that us VEATs and the HEATs have limitations regarding full customization. However, i did come a few ideas.

1st of all, let me state my love for the original VEAT outfit.
Even though the look isn't unique to the game, the villain Crab and Bane NCPs have the same look, it is however customizable to the point that i can create a unique look by changing the colors.
However, there are improvements that can be made;

Capes on Crab Soldiers:
The capes on Bane packs are set on the 1st 'knuckle' of the arms. This is the part where the legs really start, and the part where the Crab Packs moving arms are hinged on.
Since this is the same pack on both the VEAT and the Bane it should technically be possible to attach a cape to it. I am aware that the Crab Pack sits lower on the back than the Bane pack, this just means that the cape will be closer to the ground for Crabs if they choose to wear a cape.


Crab/Bane Pack Logos:
Some of us, like me, took our VEAT to Blue side and turned it into a Hero or Vigilante, while others made them Rogues. Walking around Paragon City with an Arachnos logo on my back, makes me feel as if i have a target on my back, and also seems to give people the assumption i'm still a full villain.
As mentioned before, the Crab/Bane main pack is the same, if we can recode it so we can choose either a logo like we can choose Chest Emblems, easier would be the Alignment Icons or even choose nothing. The smaller logos on the hinges of the weaponized arm part are also static, meaning a slight change of coding to reflect the lager logo, the same counts for the cape attachment part.
The part where the logo is is round, making it fairly easy to to create the Alignment icons or leave them blank. If i could i'd pick which of these, not attuned to my Alignment.
For villains you can leave it as is, say the Soldier of Arachnos AT logo.
For players who are, or choose the Rogue icon:

And we can not forget the Role Players who might like Loyalists:

Dual color gloves:
The Hunstman gloves are dual color, however the Crab/Bane gloves are not. If we can delete the current gloves, and replace them with new gloves which have new coding to also allow dual colors. The blade/trim can have a different color than the main glove, more like the Hunsman glove has, meaning that even if people choose not to have blades, they can still have their secondary color highlighting their gloves.


Glowing Eyes:
Stated many times before on the forums.
For many the glowing eyes issue are not an issue, but i have a feeling that the players who are playing their VEAT most often have a majority of people who would like this issue finally resolved. Having them regular red, Helmet's secondary or even a 3rd color glow would be an improvement.
In a nutshell:
NPC Banes and Crabs have glowing eyes, Lore Pet Banes have glowing eyes, Huntsman helmets have glowing eyes and the Crab/Bane Pre-order helmet has glowing eyes. Everyone with the same style helmet has glowing eyes, only the PC VEAT Bane/Crab helmet doesn't have glowing eyes.

VEAT Uniform as costume parts:
As i stated before, and i'm sure more feel this way. I love the VEAT uniform. I wish there was an option to make multiple outfits with these costume parts. I'd love to see my VEAT in his Black with golden trim, and when i feel like it, switch him to black with red trim.. without visiting a costume editor and wasting influence on it.
I am not asking to give all toons access to the VEAT uniform, just the VEATs themselves.
I hear the criesfrom others saying it is an uniform, so that's why only one costume has it. I say look at the armed forces. They have desert camo for in the desert, winter camo for in the snow, urban camo for in cities, u name it, their uniform will have a different pattern, and i wish i could do the same on my Crab. If i want to wear the full outfit or just the blade gloves, i should be able to, same goes for the chest pieces, helmets and everything else.

Capes for male Widows:
Would be nice for the male Widows to have this costume piece ported over.

There is only one option (sadly):

Set helper status, 'Help me' turns your name purple, 'Helper' will change it golden while 'None' will not alter you name color.

I'm glad that my main has black/gold theme, so i set 'Helper'.
But yeah, other toons would do better with a diff color name.

btw, so you all know....
This event is open for all alignments, however the actual TF/SF picked that might prevent that Heroes or villains can join fun.

a few tips:

AM Timers for his return:
1st reactor AM timer starts when the 7th glowie is clicked.
2nd Reactor's timer start when 5th Goliath is defeated.
3rd Reactor starts when 4rd Glowie is clicked.

In order for leagues to not have to deal with AM, Prime terminals with the 1st 6 glowies.
1st reactor just pull away the mobs, AM not needed to unlock.
2ns Reactor, mobs can be present. People should Prime a terminal upon a cell dropping on them
3rd reactor, clear all bunkers, and wait. Have one person grab 3 glowies in one bunker, granting him 6 cells while the rest is clearing the reactor.
Person can prime terminals without delay. Powercell ressocking, mob respawn and AM timer won't start till 4th glowie is clicked.


We actually completed a 4 man Keyes on Guardian last night.
3rd reactor we were only 3 seconds too slow or else AM wouldn't even show up.

Have a section in the forums dedicated to this, different threads for different advertisers each with their own link to their own survey site.
Upon completion of their survey you get your Paragon Points added to your account.

Don't be fooled people, this is why FREE social media pages like 'Facialbook', 'YourSpace' and such are making so much cash with the games on their site, and even those free games are making money off this system.
Social media page makes money, and are happy. Advertisers do a study and get recognition, and are happy. Survey takers get tokens/chips/points and guess what.. they are happy too.

You don't have to participate in this, and if it is just a section in the forum where people can go to find links for deals, who cares?
I for one would love to do a free 'Netphlicks' trail for a month and get 100PP for it too. Or take a 5 minute survey and get 10-50PP.
I used to do this on 'Facialbook' on a game i played, and i'd love the chance to do this here too.

This also means more revenue for Paragon Studios to commit more resources to new content or updating older content.

Try VEATs.

They all have a decent mix of Ranged, and your favorite.. melee.

the thing that bothers me the most about my toon getting nerfed to crap in PvP...
It's a 26 Billion inf Crab Spider build working perfectly fine in PvE.

I had a GM in game for about an hour, just making notes about my build and writing down Mids, added and final numbers. He made a joke saying how he wished his bills would work the same way as my 3+3+4=3.5KB Protection.
He also stated that even with DR, i shouldn't be THIS nerfed.
