The Stalker At needs to have it's mechanics fixed to actually be relevant for end game teaming content. Because it's mechanics suffer, the AT can't actually stand out on it's own. This has Ninjitsu standing out more than the Stalker them self. Allow the Stalker to stand out on their own first, then you can port Ninjitsu wherever you want.

Stalkers have the strongest single target attack available to players.
Inferno
Corruptor Blizzard
Stalker AS
are the three most damaging attacks in order available to players.
plus AS is not a tier 9 attack. -

When Windows shows him a Blue Screen ,he says "none of that" and the computer fixes itself for him.

Quote:I think I'm the only person who actually likes the Faultline/Fusionette pairing.
But then I never really understood the appeal of Shipping or Die For Our Ship.
This next line will be my revenge for linking to TVTropes.
You've been warned!!!!!!
Wait, there's incestuous necrophiliac MK fanfic out there? Did not need to know that.
Muahahahahah!!!!!! -
4th wall shattering can be good when used sparingly. Within the game now are a couple of instances already.
In in one Villain side arc you fight Synapse and he'll comment about using inspirations.
The Television contact(and dev) plays off of this as well.
and to a lesser extent you have Ukon'Grai although that's more of an inside joke.
It's sprinkled about in the game and that's all it needs to be. -
I don't remember ever hearing that smoke flash was bugged.
If anything it would probably be affected by the same bug that Placate has, but that's a PvP issue not a PvE one.
However there is a big misconception about Smoke Flash.
Smoke Flash does not put one back into the Hidden State.
It drops the agro from mobs, if it hits. That's all it does.
As for Ninjitsu vs SR. Aside from Smoke flash you also have Caltrops and Blinding Powder which add enough variety ti separate Nin and SR. -
So I finally ran Trapdoor since the patch.
Using my NB/SR Stalker , first I went right in at him, taking out Clones as they came up, unfortunately he managed to get ahead nd with 2 or 3 clones out he'd quickly go back to full health.
So I decided to reset the mission.
This time I went in with 10 small reds.
Took him out pretty quickly, I think he only Bifurcated twice before the dialog came up.
This was at Level +1 so he was 51.
It's easy to get over whelmed and outpaced during this fight. But if you lack any significant -regen red insps in high quantities seem to work well. -
While I don't care about this one way or the other you should know that this is one of those items the devs have outright said no to.
And I'm talking a flat no, not a sorry but it's not feasible due to time constraints(Power Colorization) -
I'm against any way for heroes to get Villain Patron Pools directly.
Partly because I'm still jaded about the whole APP vs PPP debacle from way back, specifically the lack of support from Heroside players.
I'm mostly against it because I'd rather see Hero Patrons implemented with stats identical to the Villain Pools. -
I don't really see how Stalker Hide is valid in this scenario. Heck Compared to any other stealth power Hide will easily outclass them.
But back to the discussion since Stealth Strike isn't an option for CD would some defensive bonuses be enough for it, or seeing how it lags behind the Armor Stealths would bringing CD up to that level be good? -
Well they're not exactly Stalker, but the idea of Hide and Mask Presence is basically the same.
So we have
Energy Aura
Dark Armor
Illusion
Stealth
Cloaking Device
Stealth IO -
I got 15 of them, would have been 16 but I didn't include the . for vahz.
Was a fun little quiz though I thought Vanessa Devoure lead the carnies. -
For me it wasn't even the 2 EB's that made this mission hard.
It's the combination of the Portals and targeted ambushes in there.
I think without those ambushes this mission would be a lot more bearable for most people.
On my Stalker, the strategy I was using was to target each portal, run around the wall at the front of the room deal with the mob, repeat til EB's are Isolated then pull them individually. If you get both focus on the vanguard guy first as he'll go down easier than Honoree. chances are you will get face planted but then you just have to deal with Honoree on his own, once your at this point normal EB strategies should work.
If you have ranged attacks it should be possible to pull each EB individually without having to deal with the portals. You might want to deal with the front portals anyway though just in case. -
Loyalist Power is of a similar vein to the Rogue missions.
-
Castle actually tried to implement a Stealth Strike to Cloaking Device a while back but it never worked the way it should have and the idea was scrapped.
About the same time I think TD had the bonus damage to Assault Rifle>Sniper Shot added to it.
Why that bonus was never given to the other powers is beyond me, but I think that was before the Defiance changes.
As for Cloaking Device offering benefits over Stealth, it's benefit is no movement penalty. I also think it has a portion of unsuppressed stealth, and IIRC it's about the same as the stealth powers in the Energy and Dark defense sets. -
For the Satchel Charge idea above, I would leave the interrupt there but reduce it down to the 3-4 seconds. This would counteract the lack of an end crash, or give it similar stats to the other crash less nukes in the game.
-
While I agree Cloaking Device could use some tweaking your premise is a bit faulty.
While inherent Swift and Hurdle will negate the movement debuff from Stealth, since Cloaking Device has no movement penalty your movement speed will still be faster than someone using Stealth. -
You know this really sucks, cause I could bid for this. Possibly win, but because my computer is having technical difficulties I wouldn't be able to claim it in a reasonable amount of time, and my new computer hasn't shipped yet.
oh and seeing as the current bis is 500 I'll bid 5001 -
Which is why I took the time to go out and rob several banks.
You see with the heroes and law enforcement busy with the mobs in stores it was quite easy to rob the banks. And now come Cyber Monday I'll be able to get all the items I want for my Deathray, my friends Doomsday device, as well as all of my Holiday and Birthday shopping for the next year.
And the best part is all the purchases will be 100% Legal because the stolen money would have been laundered over the weekend. -
Longbow are fairly dumb actually.
In the 45+ levels I've beaten down every squad they sent at me, blew up a couple of their bases, went into several other bases to grab macguffins and they can't stop me. I've brought down Aurora, Numina, Infernal, Mynx, Synapse and plenty of others. What possible chance do they think they have?
And that's aside from just wailing on them for their pushiness.
so to all of Longbow I say find a new line of work because you are ineffective, inefficient and insignificant. If you can't even stop me from blowing up a fully staffed base on full security alert why the hell do you think you can capture me when i go buy milk and there's only the 5 of you.
Also the Citizens of Nerva don't like you either, so get lost your not gaining any ground and the only reason you still have bases is because I actually don't want to blow up all of Nerva. My favorite hot dog vendor is there and it has some of the best views. But if I actually wanted to blow the place up we both know you can't stop me. So go away and let me enjoy my hot dog and view in peace. -
Since Helpy McHelperson is a grav you must take the most helpful power in the game. Dimension Shift.
Yes I cringed as i had that thought.
Also for team knockback I believe Melees should be allowed, they should have 2 or 3 aoe knockback powers though. Then my thoughts went to A Kin/Energy Stalker.
Cause Burst,Focused Burstand Repel are awesome then add Leviathans Waterspout and your golden.
Also possibility of Hide kicking back in while he chases down the mobs.
