My EM feels okay, but that's only because I've skipped half the set (from WH to Stun) and am using Air Superiority and Boxing in place of it. Yeah it's probably not a good attack chain, but it helps remove the clunkiness.

Bah, the Crab arms were the whole reason I wanted a VEAT in the first place.
-
I want it to say "Sauntered".

I think Kheldians are much better post I13, but I still think they lag far behind the Soldiers of Arachnos. Even the Bane, the weakest of the bunch is better than most Kheldian builds until well into the high levels (when Warshades get much better). My suggestions would be:
1) Human Form (both PB and WS) should have 1.0 melee/ranged damage modifiers;
2) Starting Passive (both) has 4 MAG protection to hold, sleep, disorient only;
3) PBs get Air Superiority and their KBs changed to KD.

That would get me to un-shelve my PB. -

I would love to see this as well as secondary that would go well with it. A secondary similar to Traps comes to mind.
[/ QUOTE ]
I'd like a gadget/devices themed secondary that doesn't play like Devices or Traps. -

My goodness, please! The color white is the bane of the Costume Creator.

The color black is the bane of the auras. -

Costume parts are non-game-affecting. They're just cutness that you can opt to buy. If they aren't worth it to you to buy, you don't have to buy them. I like to buy them, because I'm a sucker for cuteness. Plus, I like to support the game.
[/ QUOTE ]Non game affecting for whom? If I don't like how a my character looks, or I can't get them to look the way I want them to, I don't play. Costumes are VERY game affecting for a lot of people.

Of course that's actually why I prefer these pay packs, they aren't level/content/vet locked. -
Microsoft didn't make Steam. And it doesn't run unless you start it up.
-
You what might have been a more acceptable power for the booster pack? A portable tailor. I can't be the only person who has an itch to change a costume RIGHT THIS SECOND! every once in a while.

Generally whenever my brute sees noticeable fury gain from enemies attacking it means my brute is going to faceplant very soon.
It seems like a fair trade off, slower fury gain for increased survivability. Works for Granite. -
Yep, though I usually only watch their HP not end so I could be wrong.

In other words, the RPers would be mad that a hero is doing unheroic things not because they are actually grief striken by the loss, but because it breaks immersion and is unrealistic with respect to the genre.

They can [censored] off for not respecting the wide variety of comic books that aren't Golden/Silver Age. -
Assuming they've found a way around the "black is transparent" problem, my Electric Melee Brute is getting black electricity.

Haven't noticed any of my Thugs hurting for end.

While I like the costume pieces, I was kind of hoping for more than just scientist stuff. Like various implants with liquid filled tubes or limbs/torso options that look malformed/monstrous and stitched up. Stuff for the experimented on, rather than the experimenter.

How about this, which would still allow eventually merging them, if that's desirable:
Instead of adding additional markets (with additional software, and possibly even additional hardware), put terminals that allow access to both WW's and the Black Market in the RWZ base. Charge extra for using the opposite side's market (influence sink). You'd have to select which one you wanted when you access the terminal, to keep it simple.
The level limit would help ameliorate "upheavals", as would the extra surcharge.
For RP, well, in the game canon, by level 35 you've learned that things aren't so black and white, and you're willing to work with the opposite side to battle the Rikti, so why not try to make a little money off the other side, too? If your RP concept objects to "supplying" the opposition, than only buy their stuff. If you object to giving them your money, then only sell. If you object to both, don't do either.
[/ QUOTE ]
I'm a market idiot, but wouldn't level locking the ability to access both markets just cause more instability redside? -
It'd probably be easier to have an option to suppress all non-self buff graphics.

Maybe I'm in the wrong thread, but when someone claims that color shifting doesn't count as power customization I imagine we can't make custom heroes because we also can't put a foot on our face.
[/ QUOTE ]
So we need to get the Spore creature creator in here, too?
[/ QUOTE ]
So our characters will all look like goofy idiots? Don't get me started on how limited that thing actually is. -

Will making certain powers black cause them to appear invisible?
[/ QUOTE ]
Even more importantly, have they found a solution to the problem of color values being tied to opacity (i.e. using black to color an aura causes it to become transparent instead of black)?
[/ QUOTE ]
An explanation on how the aura colours currently work was posted in another thread.
[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ]
Black should be black opposed to semi-opacity white. And the inverse for white auras, they are like BLAM!
[/ QUOTE ]
Black is 0x000000, White is 0xFFFFFF. Auras are additive.
Essentially, the appearance of a pixel for the aura is X (the color the pixel should be) + Y (the color of the aura), capped at 0xFFFFFF. X+0x000000 = X. X+0xFFFFFF = 0xFFFFFF. A pure black aura is translucent, and a pure white aura is solid. (The process is a little bit more complicated than that, but it's the gist of the situation)
The alternative would be to make auras multiplicative, but that would just reverse the transparency problem (black would be solid and white would be translucent)
[/ QUOTE ]
[/ QUOTE ]
Yes, have they found an implemented a solution to this? Like adding a blend mode option to the color selection? That's what I'm wondering. I understood the problem and was just musing on whether they've found a solution while making powers tintable (which would have the same problem). -

PPD would be interesting if the PPD Shell was available, but I don't see where it would be branching in any definable way.

Bah, there's a lot of diversity/branching possible with the PPD. Powered Armor Corps, Psi Division, and Awakened Division branching from a single base Police Officer would be unbelievably sweet. -

I wish stabbing pain upon the nether regions of anyone suggesting Longbow, Wyvern, Vanguard, etc... -
I'd take this as an option. I'm addicted to tickets.
