Slotting Pets with Endurance Reduction

Does slotting pets with an endurance reduction enhancement help their endurance any, or is it purely to lower their summoning cost?

It does help their endurance.

I would suggest min/maxing with sets such as Blood Mandate and Sovereign Right for the best mixture of accuracy, endurance, and damage.

I know the proto bots especially need some endu loving after the level 32 upgrade. They blast, bubble, grenade, and drone themselves right out of energy.

HelinCarnate:OMG it is so terrible. I have the option to take 3 more powers but no additional slots. Boo F'ing hoo.

There are some pets that need endurance reduction, like protector bots, and I've heard Enforcers, Oni and the Lich, but most pets don't need it. The ones that do generally only need about one SOs worth.

Of course if you're going for set IOs, you'll likely end up with some end redux by accident anyway.

The Lich does not need endurance reduction, since it would be a waste for his slotting.

My mistake, I wasn't sure, I haven't got a necro that high yet so I was going off memory of what I had read.

The basic point though is that most pets don't need end redux. The ones that do only need about 30%, and usually only after the level 32 upgrade power.

none of the necro pets need end reduction slotted. their attack chains are so slow they dont burn through end like the other primaries can

the three biggest end users are enforcers, probots and the bruiser.

Haven't noticed any of my Thugs hurting for end.

You trained 'em twice yet?

Yep, though I usually only watch their HP not end so I could be wrong.

Usually short-lived fights are easy on thugs pre-endurance slotting. Bigger, longer, and harder fights leave them hurting for more, especially without breaks.
