Hell yes I want a branching PPD Epic AT! Trying to emulate them with other ATs just feels incredibly lame and boring. Must have special AT.

Do yourself a favor and get a better quality PSU. I'd recommend a Corsair.

Bah, if Ninja MMs can live with an Oni that doesn't look like an Oni you can live with the Demon Prince.

Shadow Maps are a problem Redside and a couple co-op zones due to how the zones' geometry was setup (something about being transparent code-wise so non-visible stuff is being rendered when it shouldn't be). That's supposedly being worked on at the moment. Blueside works just fine though. -

I kinda want to have my Warshade use Peacebringer colors because I like the way PBs look, but hate how they play.
-
I did my QQing about the issue in Beta testing and the tech forums. No need to repeat myself now that the devs are apparently working on the problem.
-
I've got a whole saga written about the Shadow Map performance bugs.
-
True, but there are some major oddities that seem to point to issues with the UM code.

I'm getting comparable FPS to you with a similar system (differences: Core 2 Duo @ 3.6Ghz, 4Gb RAM). There's just something screwy with shadow maps. Changing the shadow shader quality does nothing to the FPS on my system. There are a ton of odd FPS black holes Redside (looking straight down at the ground, looking close up at walls). Lowering the world detail helps this (to below 100%), which leads me to believe that the game is rendering non-visible shadows when it shouldn't be.
-
I'm still suffering from non-visible shadows or something being rendered underground Redside causing huge FPS drops. It's ridiculous.

-
Not really excited unless they fixed the FPS blackholes.

If something I'm interested in is popular, that doesn't affect my enjoyment of said thing. On the other hand if I'm ambivalent about something and it becomes in your face popular, I start hating said thing.

Seriously, I'm probably waaay late to any kind of outrage party here after my CoH sabbatical, but I still think it's cheesy and lame to be putting things we used to regularly get for free into paid content packs.

... and still, I buy them. >.< -
Many more non-painted on masks. Tiki, shaman, hockey, phantom of the opera, etc...

I'd be happy with the old animation with an added recoil period that makes it the same length as the current ET animation. Front loaded damage and a visual indicator of the self damage.

That little one looks ridiculous, like he's wearing a "special" helmet.

Aside from the name thing which I don't care about either way, hell yes I want costumes to not be locked behind anything.

Quote:Doesn't work for magic powered robots, so no deal. With powerset customization I'd like to suggest alternate animations for powers based on origin.
Whether it's completely altered (Tech Robot sniping with laser eyes, firing fire-blasts from shoulder cannons, etc) Or just a change in the particle physics (Magic character flinging "Rune of Power" styled attacks)
And then have each origin tied to specific ones and the correlated origins.
I.E. A Mutant character can use Mutant, Science, and Magic animations for their powers. A Natural character can use Natural, Magic, and Tech animations. Etc. Basically if you can use a DO with a cross-origin you can use an animation with a cross-origin.
Opinions?

Kinda meh on the animations. I hope for an alternate animation set where your character keeps their hands at their sides and just stares defiantly at the enemy while the effects play. No real effort required for BaBs to implement I suspect.
