I picked the dark epic and was blasting things instead, so never had that joy. But I wouldn't be without TT on my DM/SR

I've never run FA, but I still normally run 1 acc for PvE so am probably not who should be asked *chuckles*

EMP is THE AoE hold in the game, the others are just EMP wannabe's.

The Grav AoE is probably enough of a Holy Dogs Mess power, EMP is a much nicer opener

Having a pocket thermal for my /Fire brute I'd like to say the shields reduce the need for healing to almost 0. A pocket cold on a resistance based character would probably reduce that need to absolute 0 (pun intended) If you're able to regen the damage through natural rate faster than you're being hurt then you dont need green numbers

I had the presence pool on my DM/Regen (probably still do dont think I took it out) which I used for damage mitigation, more just allowing the damage to not all come at once, taunt and hide so the alpha is staggered, Invoke Panic to stop the constant stream of damage. I did find it made the character too easy to play though, had problems finding a touch mission, the only time it was tough was when 1 foe could 1 shot me and he had fear protection, else Intimidate+Tof would stop that

Nofuture says 5% first mob, 1,5% for the remaining ones, unslotted. Herobuilder says 6% for the first one.

Do mind unyielding gives a -defence penalty, wich tough hide compensates.

What I meant was typed not possitional, which was answered above. Mine you those are still good numbers.

After playing SR I really dont like typed defence. A quick check of "where are they?" is so much easier than "What damage does that do?"

Hmmm well the strongest secondary I've played is Regen, but I find SR much more fun. DM or Claws all the way for me as primaries, though I've always wanted to try a BS scrapper too.

But they're just what I enjoy. I wouldn't play a DA scrapper cause I have a DA brute and I know no primary could compare with fire. I wouldn't play a Inv scrapper cause I have an Inv tank, and the primary to secondry shift on powers always makes me wince. Hate losing out

I'd rather have Ragen Aura than Recovery Aura on all but one of my characters (and that one is a villain so it matters not)

Nevro still seem the best bahaved to me (discounting robots cause the sound and the munchkiness of them annoys me) Am considering deleting Merc for Thugs, but then I'd feel too generic, having the mercs makes me rare

I used to use it to make the attacks of foes less regular when I played my DM/Regen. That and using Provoke so they ran at me and then attacked rather than a solid alpha let me fight stupid numbers of purples

I think with 4 people out of 8 not making it this week's a no go

Just thought, if you run AA they mobs tend to move away from you, as its radius is larger than that of CC might mean you cant stack them. As much as I use CC on my defender if I had to pick I'd take AA, one of the nicest controls in the Ice set
