ok, so today i'm playing my Cold Domination corrupter, using my shields to buff my team as you do.

I hear stuff like this on occasion and wonder where it comes from?

Anyone else have classic stories about being told how a power works, when you know that's complete rubbish?

I would make bin permission superleader only and invite the accomplice to the leader 5 star level. The accomplice would then invite my alts and promote them all to 5 star level. Then, when the accomplice is paid and kicked, change bin permissions to 5 stars. This allows you to invite others at levels 1 - 4 with various permissions without giving them bin permission yet.

1.) Set your main as rank 6 when you start

5.) log and get them to invite your toons
6.) once done, pay them and then kick them and anyone you dont recognize on your list

It's a pain, but if you do all your toons at once not so bad.

No way out asides from a 2nd account, or a good friend in game.

This. Dual Builds have helped me a lot with some characters I was struggling with. Now I can have the 'Team Build' and the 'Fun whatever I want for Theme Build'. Great idea IMHO.

Dual builds made Corrs/Defs/Controllers about twice as enjoyable for me to play.

Some sets like Cold Domination and Force Fields have powers that do not help you in anyway solo but rock on teams.

Me too, i respec at 22 into a functional post stamina build with SOs and play until 22 cherry picking powers and seeing what works.

Well, for example Crime of Fashion has 6 powers from his primary and 7 from his secondary

Sometimes, you dont need all the powers from a set

on my Rad/Rad , the only attacks I have are 2 single target blasts, an epic hold, 2 AOE blast and EMP Pulse.

However, I have nearly +180% global recharge from inventions, haste and AM. Additional attacks would be a waste of powers for me as i don't really need them, everything recharges so quickly that i only need those attacks.

Forum ranting wont solve your issues with the game. Log issues with NCSoft customer support, and/or vote with your feet. This is a business after all.

And before you call me a dev "fanboi" , something that seems to be rolled out as frequently as "pinko" was in the 1950's, let me explain why you may see me as a "dev fanboi"

I am on the management team of the largest IT shop in NZ, while thats pretty small by US standards I know exactly what it takes to put software together, and all the issues that can arise.

No matter how robust your QA processes you will always get bugs and exploitable features, its understandable, its software.

The clients we work with have much higher consequences of our software failing, if we go down, people may die. Our customers know this, so instead of ranting they work cooperatively with us to close gaps and shut down bugs

I'm guessing then im a "dev fanboi" because I understand what they go through, i'm just glad our customers are more clued on, responisble and mature than theirs.

I really like the final decision made about Epic and Patron pools (Although I thought I was gonna lose power sink on my corrupter which really annoyed me for a bit)

I don't tend to play a lot of TF's so a reasonably tough but very hard hitting tank suits me fine.

Acrobatics give hold resistance to squishies, for that alone its pretty good.

When my partner is watching said shows I paint in the lounge. WWII models, warhammer, that kind of stuff.

It means we spend time together, even if we are doing different things. It's all about having someone who may have different interests, but that isn't bothered by what you do that much.

My music taste is somewhat darker than most people, have a hard time finding theme songs for heroes.

48 toons, over a thousand character levels

1 red 50, 1 blue 50

Altitis, gotta love it

One thign to note is on those 48 toons im only missing a handful of powersets and at least 40 of those characters have at least one power set unique to them. No character shares the same powerset as any other in the same AT either.

One of the reasons i love this game.
