  1. FYI it does break gameplay when you are faceplanted and very close to leveling, as you don't even get the rez on lvl if you are ssk'd down!

  3. Even a pinging minimp red circle on the last mob once you have cleared the rest, the same way some pvp maps ping the bounty target player.

    Are your alt or tab keys keybound to change active power trays?

    IIRC there is a bind you can setup to change the active tray,
    it sounds like you are getting this effect on alt-tab'ing.

    If you are unsure I would set up a bind or macro to reset your active tray to the first one, then hit it when you get back from your alt-tab's.
  5. Solution: DO NOT use TNT (Glycerine) or HEROSTATS whilst running the TEST server version of the game...

    Especially when it is running an unsupported build.

    The test servers are for testing game builds etc, not for continuous play like the live servers.
    TNT (Glycerine) and HeroStats usually only get updated with the new information once the build/issue has been transfered from test to live...

    Confirmed by info requesting players to use thier non-stacking /respec freespec's asap if they wish to use them at all.
    There is a freespec issued with every issue (sic).
    Based on experience this usually means that the next issue is due within a week or so, yes that Soon™

    Additional FYI, please ensure that your request is sent from your e-mail address that is linked to your master account, the one that your in-game bug/NC support site uses, otherwise they won't change it.

    If you have more than one CoH account on your master account they can merge them into one forum handle. (Dropping _EU and _NA if required.)

    Name changes may include spaces ' ' instead of underscores '_' and various other options.

    Ok, so the first 3 are available from the MM set, animations and all. Aim is Aim, Snipe could borrow the AR animation in part, but with different blast effects. That brings us to new ones:
    Pulse Rifle Barrage: This would be the tier 3 blast, shorter range, but not just a single heavy blast, it would be 2 or 3 blasts in rapid succession. This could even just be a modification of the animation of the MM powers, modded for the additional blasts. it would be classified DoT, but it would only be 2 or 3 tics of dmg. Why its good- tier 3 blast is missing on AR so it differentiates this set, and of course the obligatory Pew Pew from multi blast. Multiple smaller blasts could be animated thematically faster then a "charged up" blast also.

    Concussive Blast: Ranged(short range) Knockback power. Should animate relatively quickly, short range for defense uses. AR has stun, so we want to avoid that. ST knockback is a powerful soft mitigation tool, and we are working with energy blasts, so knockback or stun are on the menu, and one is already used in a gun set.

    Charged Pulse Blast: This power would not resemble anything we have as a blast yet. It would be like a ranged Thunderstrike. A heavy charged blast, with a medium length animation as the rifle charges, then a heavy blast to a single target. This target takes the brunt of the damage, but the blast is so hard, there is splash damage to any foe in the targets immediate area. If you have ever played /elec for blasters or for a brute, imagine thunderstrike, but from 40 feet away. I would remove the knockback that thunderstrike has, because the mitigation should be dropped due to using it at range to keep balance.

    Plasma Pack Detonation: Player removes Pulse Rifle Plasma ammo clip, pushes a button on pack, lobs pack like a grenade into the mob for a magnificent explosion with extreme energy/smash damage and high mag Knockback. No crash on endurance or anything for this power, but an "only affecting self" cool down instead. maybe 5 seconds or so. You just threw your ammo clip, you need to reload now. No endo crash, because why would there be- its a gun set. but you also cant just keep shooting, because you dont have an ammo pack. So here we would have a "sort of" crashless nuke, with nova type damage. The only affecting self fits thematically. Nova has a mass endo drain crash, fits because you just expended all your stores to nova. On the plus side, you can use a blue inspiration etc to keep going afterwards. With only affecting self, you can not "bypass" the crash, but you also get to keep your endo, so its a trade off that way.

    This rifle set would give players that pew pew, without being a laser version of assault rifle. I cant stress this enough, it needs to be quite different so players dont call it "AR 2" or "the other AR". It offers new mechanics, and a wholly different play feel then any blast set we have now. Overall, the set is very ST oriented,(one cone, the other targeted aoe is heavily stacked on the one target with only minor splash dmg going to the rest) and should allow for fast-ish animation times to keep overall damage output on par with more aoe centric sets. Faster animations would also allow for more pew pew.

    Plus, think how awsome this would look with I16 with players able to color the laser blasts any way they want. I vote: put this in for I17.

    Anyway, thats my take on this. I have wanted a set like this since like I3. Pew Pew after all.

    The interupt delay is 'caused' by adjusting the beam lenses to the correct range. (Snipe)

    6. Pulse Rifle Barrage*
    Similar to yours but a cone in the style of the Kheldians Scatter/Emination. (Cone)

    8. Charged Pulse Blast* -> Overcharged Pulse Blast*
    A slightly nastier version of yours, always does a critical on the primary target, but also causes a self Knockback. (Targeted AoE)

    9. Plasma Pack Detonation*
    As per yours, but have the cooldown/reload disable the set for 5 seconds, followed by the set powers recharging. (Location AoE)
    Nasty weapon, with forced set recharge.

    Sorry for the minor temporary TJ,

    With regard to the powers matching between humanoid and forms, I think the devs should make them macro like...

    /macro Blast "powexecname Luminous Blast$$powexecname Bright Nova Blast"

    So that the one icon/power would activate whichever power is available to that form, if that power was selected...

    In the case above, a player having either Luminous Blast or Bright Nova selected as a power would gain a single 'Blast' power which would work in both forms, but would be independently slotable as now.

    Additionally they could give a merge option in the Enhancement Management screen similar to the SG chest emblem toggle, to combine the powers effects and release a few slots at the cost of managed enhancements per power.

    Personal opinion here, but...

    I believe it would help if the player was tagged with their last mission, be it AE or regular content.

    This tag counter would then enable a reduction in rewards per repetition of a mission, requiring a temporary change of mission to reset the reward level of a repeated mission.

    Lower reward for the same mission after:

    AE/MA mission arc - After completion/quitting the arc.
    (Requires any other mission or AE/MA arc to be completed to restore the reward level)

    Normal missions - Quitting and then repeating the same mission.
    (These require any other mission to be completed to restore the reward level)

    I would suggest a lowering of a few % (-10%) stacking per repetition, which after 10 repetitions would result in 0% reward.

    Thats 0 inf, 0 xp, 0 prestige, 0 AE/MA tickets and 0 drops, for repeating the same content 10 times.

    And possibly do the same for:

    Radio/Newspaper missions - After each bank mission.
    (Requires one non radio mission to restore the reward level)
