Quote:There no reason to negate hide from the equation, when placate gives 100% chance for a crit on the next attack. so you start the chain with BU->AS->normal attack chain, and once your recharge is set where you can do one, or even two 'normal attack chains' for BU and AS to be up again, just throw in placate, and repeat. no different then using BU whenever its up, as the crit will increase overall DPS.
No, it won't. -
psi son or fire /em blasters on blue side. Doms try fire/ grav/ mind/ /ea /elec or /fire. Work on getting the accolades, in particular +hp and geas/fon and demonic/magus. Make sure the kb protection is solid (41 with acro). ss/sj are the best movement for pvp, and are both pretty much needed. Don't all into the bcast drama some players bring about >.>.
Avoid doing melee toons as much as possible until you have a good grasp on movement. -
For dps you can remove hide and as from the equation. They would only come into play once in a dps chain and if they came into play again it would lower dps. And yes certain fire dom and fire blaster builds hit the top of the charts for dps. And no stalker even on a team of 8 all in crit range aren't going to help that.

Great zone toon. Do /ea if you are looking to arena with it. Grav/fire is a good choice if you want to do both.
-
I would never sink huge money into a bane. Its not really needed to do what it does.
-
They are both mainly disruption toons. A pimped out fort is nigh unkillable. A well built bane can be a pain spamming webnades all over. I would recommend doing both. I would do the bane first if you are on a budget. Fort first if you have deep pockets.

My fire rad has always been good in zones. I just need to drop a couple more kb ios in it.

IMO alot of pvp bugs get glossed over because of a lack of understanding of pvp on their end. I am sure they outsource the bug reports just like petitions. They have enough problems getting those where they belong. I can imagine a pvp bug report looks like someone making stuff up.

The sweet truth is tough is better in team arena and phase is better in zones for melee.
And yes power pool phase's activation time only makes it vastly superior to temp phase. -

Any time you try to explain the 'standard' rules of arena it really does kinda come off like being a high class fight clubber. Its honeslty one of the reasons I hate having them so seperate. I will say though I agree with the 'standard' and wish it was the same in zones. Sadly though as long as we have checkboxes someone and their sense of e-honor/rp/real manhood will come up silly fightclub style rules that in the end actually hinder what they want. Real men of genius.

Quote:Maybe, they say the memory is the first thing to go, I forget what the second thing is. The current generation of clubs are truly marvelous, but buying them would just mean I had given up on improving my game.
I think you gave up on improving your game long ago. Now back to the market forums and being wrong with you. -

Quote:I thought those were unneeded. I seem to recall a giant thread on that someplace. Oh well I will just leave and go back to coveting that titanium set of golf clubs I really don't need to play the game.
You misremember alot of stuff. And you know that set of clubs you like, you don't need them, but they sure are nice to have if you have the money. -

Quote:Any tips for power choices for the elec/therm? I know the general outline but I'm unsure about most of thermal (which buffs to take or not take with the remaining power choices), the snipe, and patron choice (though mako feels pretty right).
Dig through this section for the elec therm thread and look for the build ra posted. Think it was black mute who started it. -

The one you aren't on?
Quote:Do free server transfers exist anymore, or did that end?
They are all done. I hope they bring them back or pass them out for something every now and then. I still have some toons to shuffle around, plus I want more friends to park a toon or two on virtue to help me play fcp. -

Honestly virtue has had about the same amount of people in rv of late, at peak hours at least. The catch is that it is mostly fightclub, and outsiders and straight up pvping is kind of frowned on.
