    There are some more skilled players here just on the basis that all the pvpers left are here for the most part. More people means you will have more people at both ends of the spectrum. Get ready to see some truly wretched and retarded pvpers as well as some really solid ones.

    The login issues have long been fixed. If your pc can handle it you will have no problems playing there.

    This hits the nail on the head. The only reason we ever got attention in the first place was a combo of the pvp community's continual efforts to get certain changes and fixes and the other part was they thought they could make pvp more mainstream and draw more customers. Trust me when I say the second reason is the real reason we got the changes. It failed miserably and pvp population went down. Notice how we don't really get any attention now and its back to the coming soon mantra we used to get. Unless somehow overnight pvp becomes a cash cow for the game we will always be relegated to the back of the priority line.

    Finally...

    I have no problems with them adding pve stuff. If they can add more subs at some point we may actually get new pvpers. The only real pvp changes they could make to up the subs at this point is to reverse a lot of the pvp 2.0 changes and hope its not to late to get all the old pvpers back. I always want them to think about the part of the game I enjoy the most but I am realistic about the business side of it all.

    He only goes into pvp zones to get nukes for raids. I think I used him in rv once but he has fly, no acro and a really really weird build. It was a specialty toon I made just to lead red side hami raids. It was very effective at what I built it for.


    The reason I was considering moving him was because I know how beastly pd it for one. And I hate my sonic blast/pd. I don't know why I keep rolling sonic blast toons, it literally causes me discomfort to attack with it. After playing my /ea dom the nrg animations have kind of grown on me and there is lots of slotting stuff you can do with the attacks.


    The only thing holding me back from moving it is I have two other toons in the running for it. I actually love my ss/fire brute and like having a disruption toon to play which I lack on freedom red side. The other toon is my dual purpled widow which I could bring over and strip and slot out another 2 toons with all the loot on them.



    The more I keep seeing people not slotting for enough kb protection though, the closer the pain dom gets to winning. I could get disruption out of it plus pain dom is the range regin.

    I have an nrg/pd on justice I use for hami raids. I have actually considered moving him to freedom of late. He would be a solid *** toon.

    I don't bring it up. But when people bring that advice into this section there is really no place for it.     Can you imagine the novice pvper trying to get a grasp on that area of the game. They figure they should research to get better and go looking. They come here and post something like 'what are some good combos for pvp' and they get answers like 'wp is the top set' or 'dark melee is the number two set'. Armed with this info they back off to the game and roll up wp/dm toon. And after leveling it and messing around with it they find out that they keep getting subpar returns out of a toon they were told was pretty much top notch. Do you think that would leave a bad taste in their mouth toward pvp? You bet it would, and thats why the fiteclub advice has no place here unless specifically asked for. Its always best to assume people are not following the fake rules instead of the other way around.

  10. With what play time I have had of late I have been trying to get a better feel for my fire/ea dom. And the conclusion I reached was it was an end heavy beast. I dropped some +dam +rech and +hp and added some more kb protection and some end recovery and added alot more end reduction to my spammed powers. This is the build I think I am going to go with, was just curious to get input to see if I may have missed anything or anyone had any ideas how to squeeze in some more +hp.

    Fire/ea is a beast on small team arena stuff. Its almost like a cheat code. Any stalker will do if they can play. Em does give more burst potential but a well coordianted team shouldn't need more than as+something else to get a kill. PBed tf + as and then the corr scourging to close it out. That stun **** is like an auto kill on a squishy.

    Once they get around to server merges the game will be far pat the point of it mattering. You don't have to move all your toons or relevel everything. Pick one on each side to make/transfer and go to it. With the market as it is and only really needing cheaper builds to be successful in zones starting fresh is not as daunting a task as it seems. And if you are into pvp its totally worth your time. Alot of people who are freedom now came from other servers and started over. As long as you are decent people you can usually find helpful people who make the move a little smoother.

    Confuse is the best mez left in the game. And its fairly likely that noone will be on the confuse timer while being on the hold timer is very likely.
