Fire Blast Animation Broken

There seems to be something wrong with it. Me and con really cant put into words how to describe it. Only that it roots/suppresses way too long. Any of you fire blasters/dom/corrupters notice it, or are we the only ones. lol. (*ice blast as well).

I have noticed it for the past week on my fire/MM blaster - I tested on my fire/kin corruptor to see if its the same for her, but didn't seem to be...

its on corrupters as well..thats when i noticed it.

I've found this problem when I use the power customization with Dark Fire setting, Bright Fire and Original seem to work fine for me still... Thats for my corrupter... it seems to have a blasters animation time which is 1.67 instead of the corrupters/doms 1.2... The grounding of fireblast on a blaster has been a pain for awhile, unless its worse now? my blaster hasn't seem to changed in the last week or so

So your saying if i change it back to normal...i won't be rooted forever like i'm being freaking held. Becuase its just that bad. It roots me about as long if not longer then shout animation.

i noticed it about 3 or so weeks ago..after one of there infamous patches. I though it was just me at first. But then i started asking around recently.

Is it every time you are using it or just every so often?

You might be on to something about dark fire....i think i noticed it when i changed to dark. I just did not put 2 and 2 together. I hope thats the case. My fire/rad has been shelfed because of it. Hope your right Feugan. =-)

I have two fire corrs one had dark and he was the only one affected... although the grounding wasn't as bad as you said, I changed him back to bright fire and it ran fine though.. then again this was a week after i16 went live, it could have gotten worse.

Well i attack from the height of my jump...so it might seem like i'm on the ground forever. It might not be THAT long. But it's about = too the shout root time. That im positive on. Tonight when i get home im most def. going to change it back. lol. I wish i would have said something soon...i though it was just me because when i first noticed it i asked a couple people. and they said they did not notice it. (more then likely they had light or regular fire blast). So if your right it makes a ton of sense.

I just tested it then, there is definitely a longer grounding time on dark fire.

OMFG WOOT...i can play my fire/rad again. Did you get shout type rooting ???

I can definitely tell a difference in grounding... I don't know if its on par with shout though, it seems to be a tiny bit more than a blasters fireblast, 1.8sec maybe

I stopped playing my fire blaster not to long ago also and i was sure the exact reason something just felt off. It was changed to dark fire so maybe this was it, I'm gonna go test soon to see.

Should prolly PM Castle and tell him, just bugging this stuff probably wont get it fixed.

Not trying to rain on anyone's parade but I have pms saying the placate proc fix should be soon. Just better off avoiding the dark tint until they get around to it. You should add it to mac's list though.

You are just titling your bug report incorrectly.

Talk about a broken badge or something they care about.

Then mention in the body how the longer root of fireblast prevented you from getting the badge. Do NOT submit the bug report from within a pvp zone or the arena, that flags it for deletion by the system and won't even make it to a person.

An alternate acceptable topic would be how it is negatively affecting your RP'ing in an MA arc.

At no point should you mention pvp even if it is a pvp specific bug.
