I would read this thread again. It has a little something for everyone. It made me laugh, it made me cry, it made me laugh til I cried.


Its amazing how quickly people jump in and call bs without having a clue whats really going on in this game. There is a reason why people like brofrog and ares don't know about exploit pls. There is a distinct differnce between between a pler/good knowledgeable player and being a flat out power gamer. Power gamers will metagame the **** out of something to look for something that makes something a 1/10th of a second faster or generates a faster or larger reward. Don't feel bad about not being a power gamer though it actually takes a little of the fun out of the game.


Also to ares comment about people not paying for pls, word on the street is that a 3 hour 50 goes for around 10 digits in payment atm. I am sure you think this is bs to, but I know alot of people rolling in fat stacks of inf atm that say I am right.

I would figure out a way to skip acro before I skipped retsu.

It reads the same way about control powers durations. There is another post somewhere in there confirming that slotting them does still indeed effect duration. So I would slot for acc and duration with that in mind. As it is I only really use it on my ss brute a lot so I just 4 slot for a recharge bonus and let rage and acc bonuses take care of it hitting.



I have not tested to confirm this opinion. Using logic it makes sense, but using logic to apply to this game mechanics is a poor idea. Once I get to my days off if noone else has got around to it I will test it.



Edit: checked CoD and the powers aren't marked to ignore enhancements and buffs. I would say with 99% certainty that slotting for duration does effect it.

Sounds bad til you get benumbed.

Heals with resistance added in are not effected by + or - heal.

elec nin is fine. Nin is actually easier to slot for +damage bonuses which is where its at for stalkers.

It placates the target. Trust me.

it 'works'.

Be willing to put up with dewshes.

Be willing to get on vent.

Be willing to forget everything you know.


Be willing to get farmed and be bad.

Rez to soon and the timer hasn't reset and you get a wasted kill. Again this is all speculation, no proof here.

Actually to much recharge can mess it up.

For the dpa numbers the in game is actually good. Mids numbers are really screwy and some are just flat out wrong. It doesn't show any of the effects of dr either. Yes flurry and jump kick will out damage most of the lower tier attacks, it doesn't neccasarily mean they are better though. Make sure when you have the time to post some builds in this section and you will get some ideas and suggestions.



Keep in mind if you are playing scrappers(which I am pretty sure you do) to try to ignore the regin and lol defense comments. There is lots of good info and help around these parts we just have a weird way of conveying it sometimes.

Just to touch on afk farming vs real pvping for drop rates. Last week I went on ahot streak and got 6 drops during the week. Keep in mind most of play time if used in rv on freedom. The busiest servers busiest zone. One of my friends who afk farms pvpos had a really bad week drop wise. He still got more than double the drops I did, while afk. Now keep in mind this used none of his in game play time so when he was at his keyboard to play he could do other things like level new toons, run content like tfs and accolade toons. So he got twice the loot I did with pretty much no effort. And still had his play time to do with what he wished. Mind you pvping is what I wish to do with my play time, but its pretty easy to see that the afk farmers would have a significant impact on prices. To think otherwise would be shallow and shortsighted.

Conserve power is very nice to have. You can pretty much negate a therm with it.
