Slotting Taunt
It reads the same way about control powers durations. There is another post somewhere in there confirming that slotting them does still indeed effect duration. So I would slot for acc and duration with that in mind. As it is I only really use it on my ss brute a lot so I just 4 slot for a recharge bonus and let rage and acc bonuses take care of it hitting.
I have not tested to confirm this opinion. Using logic it makes sense, but using logic to apply to this game mechanics is a poor idea. Once I get to my days off if noone else has got around to it I will test it.
Edit: checked CoD and the powers aren't marked to ignore enhancements and buffs. I would say with 99% certainty that slotting for duration does effect it.
Duel me.
I will work on my sig pic more when I have time.

I just slot mine for range and use it solely for the -range.
I thought taunt was auto-hit, at least thats what it says in combat window when I use it on my tank. I slot for duration and range

In PVP it requires a hit check.

The -range is autohit (and stacks, double WTF there), but the taunt effect itself isn't. Really wish they'd clean up the combat logs to show a hit roll for the actual taunt.
"One day we all may see each other elsewhere. In Tyria, in Azeroth. We may pass each other and never know it. And that's sad. But if nothing else, we'll still have Rhode Island."
Is there any point in slotting taunt for taunt duration? Am I right in thinking the following quote means it cannot be enhanced in PVP?
* For Scrappers and Brutes: Change Taunt to a fixed 4 second duration.
* For the Manipulation Pool: Change Taunt to a fixed 4 second duration.
