Fire/Pain solo?
Sooo....
the build is that awesome, eh?
Damnit, where's Barrier to tell me how downsie it is?
Pros will probably say you need to squeeze in 4 more kb protection. Switching your slotting of shark skin to 3 glad armor and the steadfast kb IO, and stealing a slot from hibernate for a kb IO in acro will get you there.
Also, you're over the limit on one of your hp bonuses. Switch Aim to an adjusted targeting set, or change your slotting on world of pain.
If you care to, you can also move that last slot in nullify pain over to maneuvers to slot a lotg 7.5
you are missing a lot of chances for +hp and you need more kb res. Fire has less procs than rad pain so your going to want to try for as much +dmg as you can get.

Beware any pvp build that tells you to take school of sharks over spirit shark jaws and slots the highest damage ranged proc in a snipe rather than the attack you can spam the most, just sayin.

rule #1 of builds tweak as needed,
yeah cuz you don't want the highest dmg proc in your highest dmg attack - hold versus immob you can debate..but every attack has procs so your gonna cry about apoc being in snipe?
rule #1 of builds tweak as needed, |
2. You can't. School of Sharks is a bad power. Crappy damage, short range, doesn't drop toggles, you get the picture. Meanwhile, Spirit Shark Jaws does pretty good damage, has the standard 80 foot range, drops toggles, and can bring down fliers.
"One day we all may see each other elsewhere. In Tyria, in Azeroth. We may pass each other and never know it. And that's sad. But if nothing else, we'll still have Rhode Island."
1. You want the highest damage proc (or the one with the highest chance to fire, or both as the case is with the purple proc) in the power where it will get the most use over time. In a Fire/Pain, that's Flares. Blazing Bolt will rarely if ever be used in 1v1 situations - a case could be made for zones but that just makes you spike bait. Only procs worth slotting in Blazing Bolt are the stun proc and maybe the toxic proc.

the reason for sharks was the immob, which tied to the snipe, which tied to putting in the apocs..
the glad jav procs are in flares and the other fire powers - 33% chance for on all of em 107 neg dmg versus 71 toxic for the javs but like I said - #1 rule of forum builds...tweak as needed.
never said he had to use it...see rule #1.

Ummmm. No
Just plain no.
Please go back to PvE, or try to at least grasp pvp slotting.
Leik, heres this scenario, u immobilize the person, if its a corr slotted completely for immoblize, you immob them for >4< seconds. Blazing bolt takes 2.3 slotted interruptable time. Meaning you have to get OUT OF RANGE of them, and then sit and try to snipe. Chances are so likely that you will get interrupted, that this strategy doesnt even work on paper, let alone in game. I have made it work on doms, with a immob twice as long. Even then, if the person is smart enough to know how to toggle CJ, say good buy to that.

A good example of this would be someone saying "I slot blaze with 4 Devastations, and 2 Dmg/Range HO's" And someone countering with "I just use the last two slots for a Jav proc and another Jav IO" that is something you tweak about a build.
Suggesting that a fire pain corrupter try to build tactics around an AoE Patron Immob and a snipe is just plain bad advice.
Putting your highest damage ranged proc on a very situational/interruptable power (That you're lucky if you can ever use in a lol1v1) is bad advice.
Taking an AoE Immob that has a 2 second base duration over the hardest hitting attack you can get (Shark Jaws) is bad advice. (In scourge range with two damage procs its sick damage.)
I think you are missing the point.

I'm a KSing Beast all because of Spirit Shark Jaws.
Wow. That build is bad Jaso.

thread full of pros...I guess he should run his original build....since you offered him so much help.

The Regen/recovery IO should really be moved out of Soothe, the regen tissue proc in soothing aura will definitely up the regen.
Has one too many of the 1.88% HP bonuses as pointed out before, as well as being just shy of the standard mag 41 KB slotting. As mentioned before, can be achieved by putting in 3 glad armors and slotting acro for 1 slot worth of KB.
HP bonuses are decent as if they get the rest of the accolades they'll be sitting at 1530 HP.
Not sure how the build will be with no global acc when WoP is down.
As far as going solo in zones, just roll a stalker and KS, you'll have a better chance of getting drops that way. A solo Fire/Pain to me would just be more of a farm target. In lolduels just slot damage and chance to hold procs, spam attacks and hope the RNG is on your side with the proc firing.

Dueling on a pain dom is like saying you approve of sudden death, because thats were all the matches are headed.
Duel me.
I will work on my sig pic more when I have time.
missed that - meh not unworkable though - change epic choices to shark skin/hiber/ssj and pet, drop snipe add in soothing aura move the extra slots to tactics and put the apocs in flares and ssj - either way you really have to want to 1v1 on that toon - the io cost is insane.

It's still a good amount of changes for a build that was put up as a "use this"
So it's still bad imo.

CoV PvP VG = Disruption - Co-Leader - Union/Freedom
Global = @Rent & @Rent.
Playgroup are all **** - Global Handle
I've got a Fire/Pain Corr that I use for support, but I'd like to use the second build for a solo zone/arena duel option.
How does this look for a first pass? What suggestions?
