    My brute build

    Is there a particular reason why you haven't slotted any damage into your attacks?

    Too many Heals in Health, ED makes anything over 3 of a kind in a single power nigh-useless.

    Slotting HPT for resistance is a waste of slots, if you ask me.

    Too many heals in Fast Healing, too.

    I wouldn't slot Build Up for ToHit (unless you can afford SHOs)

    I'd slot Stun for 2 Stun 2 Rech 2 Acc.

    Too many runspeeds in Swift.

    Too many endmods in QR, though you could just replace one SO with a +end proc IO from one of the endmod sets.

    Taunt doesn't need Accuracy in PvE. Replace with recharge or remove the two slots you used for Acc.*

    Your slotting of Resurgence is just... weird. I'd just put an endmod or recharge in the initial slot it comes with and leave it.*

    Too many endmods in Stamina.

    Group Fly sucks.*

  3. It looks like Foot Stomp, hence it's cool. Granted, that doesn't make it suck much less. At least it'd make it less of a headache for team members when a wild and crazy "omg my first kheldian ever" Peacebringer spams it in the middle of spawns, scattering everything to the four winds.

    Ever since Khelds randomly started escalating in popularity (at least on Union; probably due to the Kheld buff and the recent double XP giving people a chance to unlock them easily?) I've noticed that a lot of people play human PBs and will, indeed, take and use Solar Flare.

    [/ QUOTE ]Mmyes, noticed that one too. Seemed less noticeable though - I can use the mez bug to pop Hasten for my Dwarf in the middle of a fight against Malta or Knives and pop back into Dwarf immediately, and it feels like I'm abusing a glitch, heh.

    Ah well, seems it isn't fixable without a rewrite of how powers work, then.

    Simply put if you don't like the length of Posi, don't play it. I have no problems with it considering the large amounts of merits at the end.
    There are plenty of other things you could do without doing Posi if it bothers you so much, that's the wonder of this game.

    [/ QUOTE ]It's the newbie's introduction to Task Forces, and a terrible one at that. It's poorly designed. Compare it to villain Strike Forces.

    I'd rather they retune it and make it more fun and/or shorter, even if it does mean lowering the merit reward. Which, by the way, is ridiculously high considering the rewards villain SFs have...

    Heck, they've been retuning old Hero content for a while now. Faultline. Hollows (whether this one was an improvement or not is up for debate, though). Rikti War Zone. It's about time they get to the Phalanx/Shadow Shart TFs and make them fit the standard set by villain Strike Forces.

  13. But we already know why people drop missions. It's because they're -could- get a team to help them find hostages/glowies/glowing hostages, or to defeat Nosferatu, yet they firmly believe this is City of Solo and do not do so.

    Its never really worked that way. If you are mezzed or even defeated non interuptible powers that have started their activation will still fire as most characters wilth heals will have already found out. The number of times I've been defeated and then have my heal fire is ridiculous.

    [/ QUOTE ]Let me rephrase. Mezzed players shouldn't even be able to start the activation of a power. You know, since you can't do that when mezzed. The heal death is different - you pop the heal when you're still alive and have full use of powers, but it's set to give you the health back after a set time from when you activate it, depending on the animation of the power. This is noticeable with the Crab Spider power [Serum], which has a rather long animation of pulling out a syringe and stabbing onself in the arm with it. Dying during this elaborate animation will cause your corpse to mockingly glow green for a moment during the moment when you would've gotten health back otherwise. But this is simply how every non-interruptible power in the game works, including attacks. Something dies while you're hovering in the air for a [Total Focus], and even if you would've hit them, you deal no damage (to a corpse), yet the hit FX play on them anyway.
    You still can't even activate a heal or any other power (except Dwarf form) at all when Held, can you?

    I wonder if this is fixable or if it's a latency issue that they can't really do anything about.
  17. Admittedly, I probably wouldn't make another Scrapper - Scrappers just feel like weaker versions of Brutes or Stalkers these days. I only made the one I have to unlock Warshades.

    Seriously, whenever I play a Scrapper, I keep thinking "Anything I can do, my Brute or a Stalker can do better."

  20. You used to be able to have it always out by clicking the power icon while it was still recharging. It'd play the error sound effect, but the pack would appear on your back and stay until you zone or until you toggle the power on and back off properly.

    Echo versions of (not all) temporary powers are indeed possible to restock through Ouroboros indefinitely.

  24. Defeated Teammate powers do not work on Henchmen. In addition to the above-listed resurrection powers and Vengeance, this includes powers such as Fallout.

    Everything else usually works, to my knowledge.

    You can't use Hasten in Dwarf by design.
    You can't use Hasten when mezzed by design.
    Shifting out of Dwarf is like detoggling mex protection, which will instantly mez you if any mez effects are currently affecting your toon.
    There is a brief "hole" between detoggling Dwarf and the mez effect mezzing the player where the player can use human form powers before the mez locks them down.
